Great coffee and cozy setup! They even have a drive thru!

Unilocal! They listened! About a month ago, I was contacted by Richard, the owner, who read my note about his business and apologized about my previous experiences there. He wasn’t combative about my criticisms, but hoped he could earn my business in the future. I went back today and the staff was very friendly toward me, they smiled and apologized when the drive-thru meant that I would have to wait, and laughed at my eagerness for my Mediterranean wrap. Yes to the service! Thanks for your happiness on your job :) My Mediterranean wrap was very refreshing! The wrap is filled with vegetables and smothered in hummus which meant I was getting my dose of veggies for the day and the hummus tasted very good. As a hummus connoisseur, all I have to say is: yes yes. Best of all: the coffee! Lukewarm coffee is a thing of the past; my coffee was piping hot as well as filled to the brim. I’m all sorts of happy about that because last update the coffee was not up to par, despite the name. All good now. Also, for my fellow Unilocalers, they offer 10% off your order. Take a peek. Last review I complained about the high prices of the items at the shop, but a small is basically a medium and medium is a large. For specialty drinks, they can still be a little high but I’m guessing that’s due to the area. Note: this is the only coffee place locally owned around here. You have a Dunkin Donuts and a Tim Hortons next door. Just remember where your money goes ;) Thanks for making some changes, Richard, and thanks to the staff for a great third time around! Here’s to many more visits!

I LOVE Goodrich Coffee House!!! My friends and I go there all the time after school, and we love it!!! It is in a super convenient spot, and although many of the workers are high schoolers, all of them are super polite, and very helpful!!! I LOVE their iced cappachillo, which is their version of a cappuccino. I also love their iced vanilla cream drink!!! However, my most favorite thing at the coffee house are ALL of the baked goods!!! I love the blueberry muffins, and the cinnamon apple scone!!!

I travel for work and needed a place to conduct an interview, get work done, and eat. While the wifi was having some trouble that day, the service, food, easily accessible outlets, and comfy chairs more than made up for it. There is tons of space here and a real, hearty food menu. I don’t drink coffee so I can’t speak to that, but I will certainly return next time I’m in town. I had a chicken with brie and raspberry sandwich, and the chicken was a real breast, not some weird frozen thing. There’s some good sun and a gorgeous deck on the canal out back.

We get scones from here twice a week for our valued guests at my salon. The raspberry white mocha scones are the favorite! They are a great place for a quick lunch on the go and the healthy options available are fresh and plenty, making it easy to hit the drive thru!

So friendly, great atmosphere, and best of all great food. I had a blueberry scone and green tea lemonade. Perfect! :) and it isn’t a chain restaurant. Which is what made me want to skip the dunkin donuts next-door and try this place. It was worth it.

Nice non-chainy coffee shop with a frozen yogurt bar. My iced vanilla latte was delicious. They have various pastries and breakfast/lunch items. Wish they carried things like bagels/bagel sandwiches. Drive thru available. Odd parking lot — sared with the dry cleaner next door.

Cute little shop. I quit coffee a few weeks ago so I got a hot chocolate. It was delicious! I had them add peppermint but I couldn’t taste it really. No biggie, it was still tasty. My cousin had a cup of tea that smelled amazing, like cinnamon and plum. She said it was a Christmas flavor. Anyway, an overall cute place, that has a drive thru and froyo. But I don’t think they have free wifi, or you need a PW to access it.

So there is a coffee shop owned by Richard Branson, a very well known philanthropist, and a coffee shop owned by Richard Ramirez, a well known serial killer. They were both originally named«Richard’s», but Branson got tired of being confused with a serial killer, so he proposed that Ramirez change his coffee shop to «Bad Rich» and Branson would change his to «Good Rich.» Ramirez refused, but Branson changed his anyway, hence the name of this place. I have an emotional connection to this place because it was the location of the opening night of my best ever tour, and several concerts since. So, some very good memories here and it’s just near where I live when I’m in Buffalo. On the other hand, there are a few negatives… their products are good but they’re not amazing. I’d love to say they are better than all the chains, but I do like Tim Horton’s coffee better, and I like Dunkin Donuts hot chocolate better(which is next door). However the fact that they are an indie place gives them the edge… and they are better than the Clarence Center Coffee Co which is nearby. I guess one gripe would be that I’ve brought 100(once) and 50(2 or 3 times) people to their place, which usually has 5 – 10 people inside at best, and made them extraordinary amounts of money because my crowds always buy food and drink, generally being an adult contemporary crowd rather than a tap-water-drinking younger crowd, and they’ve never given me any form of payment or even a tip or bought a CD from me. They had no obligation to, no contract was signed, and that’s the way I prefer it. And a caveat is that 90% of venues I perform at(or more), are the same regardless of the crowds involved, so I don’t really hold it against GR. But if they were more generous about it, they’d get a 5⁄5 from me, in all honesty.

Either this place is overhyped or coffee shops are just different in the Northwest. The coffee is good and the staff is nice, but the sitting area is very loud and it only accommodates 9 groups of people(the place was packed when I showed up). The interior also seems strangely uncomfortable for a coffee shop; it seems less personal than a chain like Starbucks. This place fills the coffee needs for locals, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here.

Goodrich Coffee-One of my favorite places to relax and have a real conversation with friends. Very laid back friendly atmosphere with excellent coffee. It’s been a while since I had anything off the menu, but from what I recall it was definitely above average. Probably a bit more than some of the chain coffee houses, but it’s worth it to support a neighborhood business. Some of their holiday brews are worth stopping in for on their own.

Above & beyond. I’ve been on the paleo eating diet, which can make eating /drinking out tricky. They make my protein/fruit smoothie a little different from the menu with no hassle and even offer up other ideas to order next time that fit with what I can eat. Great staff :) and their coffee is good too. Had a yummy pumpkin spice latte here.

Stopped in here for the first time and was really impressed! Place was clean, and cozy, great place for an afternoon lunch. The menu had a great amount if choice and the staff was great. We got frozen yogurt and it was great! Not very many toppings to choose from but the frozen yogurt tastes great! We also got a latte which was very good. I will be returning to try their lunch menu, which looked great!

Family owned, family roasters, fresh coffee and now frozen yogurt, too. As a high school teacher of students with special needs, I brought my class across the street for a mid-morning coffee break. We found the accessibility of the restaurant to be good. Though the restrooms were snug for the individuals using wheelchairs. If you use a wheelchair, park in the back and go up the curb cut to the concrete pad that the building sits on. Then go around to the front to enter the building. I called ahead to alert the restaurant because I had noticed a large decorative urn blocking access the week before. It had been relocated. The staff was extremely helpful and took our orders respectfully even though it was difficult to understand what some of us were trying to say. The dining room was warm, but the front patio was set up and we all had a «GoodRich Day» enjoying frozen yogurt smoothies and fresh fruit in the warm sunshine! Thank you Mr. Budde for a fun experience.

The product is good… Ive tried thier verison of the iced cappacino as well as a regular coffee. The reason why I give it two stars as although the product is good it is a bit overpriced for what you get. Although it is a good alternative to dunkin doughnuts and tim hortons I just cant see spending the money they charge here. This doesnt mean I wont go back, it simply means if I have a few bucks and want a coffee I am going to go to clarence center coffee, tim hortons, or dunkin doghnuts before I visit here again.

One of the best coffee shops in Western New York. The coffee is amazing, no matter what type you may order. Their coffee is just outstanding, made with quality and care by staff that obviously know how to make it. Going to Goodrich Coffee instead of Tim Hortons, Starbucks, or Spot, is like the difference between shopping at a high-end clothier or buying clothes at Walmart. The owners and staff at Goodrich are experts in coffee, and their food is spectacular too. If you are just looking for a cup of coffee, then go to Wilson Farms or Dunkin Donuts next store, it will be cheaper and quicker. If you are seeking a great cup of coffee, then stop in to Goodrich Coffee, it will make your day! Oh, and order one of their scones or muffins too, they are amazing! I would eat here everyday if my waistline and wallet could handle it!

I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have more ratings on Unilocal — I just stopped in for the first time and thought it was great. Essentially a locally owned starbucks knock-off, the place was clean, both the girls behind the counter were friendly and perky and the coffee was good. Big comfortable overstuffed chairs or a drive through window if you’re on the go. Saw they have a food menu, but I was there late for music(live music on Fridays) and didn’t try anything on the menu. Gets four instead of five stars as it lacks the soul and energy of my favorite houses(i.e. Sweetness 7, Ashkars, or the Clarence Coffee House), but it’s a great little space that I’d probably be at regularly if I were in the area.

I love me a tasty brew. I really really love me a tasty LOCAL brew. That being said, Goodrich Coffee and Tea is amazing. If you’re a coffee snob like me, you’ve got to try this place. Conveniently it’s on the corner of Goodrich and Main St. just down the street from both a Dunkin Donuts AND a Tim Horton’s… PASSONTHESEPLACESPEOPLE!!! You have GOT to drive one more block and go to Goodrich Coffee. The brew is perfect: Bold, full and delicious. The staff is always really kind and I always smile when they tell me to «have a good, rich day» as I’m leaving. I’m a huge fan of their nonfat mocha which tastes so much better than any chain coffee place could ever dream of producing. They also make fabulous lattes and pretty much anything else you need too. If you’re in the mood for a quick snack which is what entices you to the chains down the street, fear not! Goodrich also has yummy breakfast wraps and a few other tasty morsels. I had an amazing(and huge!) sausage, egg, and cheese on a whole wheat wrap that was delicious. Pass on that processed donut at Timmy Ho’s. Everything they make at Goodrich is made to order so it’s super fresh(not out of a microwave) and super delicious and totally worth an extra 2 minutes. I just realized my review is getting a bit sales-pitchy– but really you should try the coffee here. I love it that much. My parents live just around the corner and come here to buy their beans and I’m always in love with my morning coffee when I’m visiting them. So no matter what you have here, it’s awesome and worth the visit.
