Elle Air, The Blow Dry Bar

To be honest, this is the kind of place that I selfishly don’t really want to review because I would like to keep it a secret. I would like to know that if I need to get in here on short notice, I will be able to. But that is just not fair because these fabulous women deserve to be recognized for their accomplishments and talent.
This is a beautiful salon. The atmosphere is bright, cheerful, welcoming and relaxing.
I have gone to Lauren for a blow out several times. I have the worst hair. It is curly/​frizzy and awful. In about half an hour, Lauren makes my hair absolutely beautiful! Shiny, soft, frizz-​free curls. She styles it so that it lasts a long time but it isn’t stiff or sticky. The day after she she did my hair, all I had to do in the morning was fluff it with my hands and throw a small amount of hair spray on and I was ready to go. It looked just as awesome as it did the first day. She truly is an artist.
I will definitely be going back here — I’ve already made a few more appointments!

I live in Los Angeles and was going to be in Buffalo for a wedding. I had scheduled the appointments a few months in advance. We had scheduled hair and makeup appointments for 8 people, two days back to back. The ladies were great and so excited to meet us all and find out about our events. We had a blast; everyone were so accommodating, so sweet, and so fun. They were so fast, which was great since we were on w time crunch. They were also open to suggestions and willing to explore our ideas and vision instead of being very strict. The prices are reasonable and the hair and makeup stayed put all night. Highly recommended!

What an amazing experience! These ladies are awesome, so good and so fast! We were a party of 7 – 8 people, they did all our hair and makeup in less than 3 hours and the quality of the work was excellent! They do excellent good braids, my braided up do still looked good 3 days later! The prices are so reasonable (especially for airbrush foundation), the ladies are so friendly and sweet and the atmosphere is so comfortable! So much better than Drybar. Please move to LA!!!

I came here last month to get my hair done for my sisters wedding, as did my sister, mom and another bridesmaid, and we were impressed! I don’t remember the name of the stylist that did my hair (adorable blonde with a personality to match) but she was amazing. My hair still looked perfect after dancing like a crazy person and then sleeping on it that night. The next day I took out all 53 bobby pins, no exaggeration, and it still looked good! I got compliments all day long. Thank you, Ell Air for helping to make my sisters wedding day amazing. I wish you were with me in Atlanta.

Super cute spot — comparable to the Dry Bars I frequent in NYC. Had made an appointment a few weeks ago, but they didn’t have me listed when I walked in. Without any hesitation they said they’d be able to accommodate, no problem. I had a great blowout experience, nice scalp massage during the shampoo and a quick and voluminous blowout. Definitely will be coming back when I’m in town again!

This salon was amazing!!! Really loved it and plan on going back soon. The girls where super nice and professional! My daughters hair and make up came out perfectly !
This is the only blow out bar I known of and it is well worth the price. The prices are reasonable. Up-​do was $ 60, blow out $ 36, airbrush foundation and cheeks $ 20
They offer waxing too. Great place !
