The best! Thought I was back in Arthur avenue in Bronx. Great peppers, & meatballs. Everything is top notch

I stopped by on my way to work to grab some items for dinner later that evening. I bought a stuffed artichoke, stuffed banana peppers, fresh bread, antipasto and frozen sauce. I’ve had all of these items before and they’re all top notch. I love the variety of Italian food items they have to offer. Everything is homemade and fresh. Definitely worth checking out.

The man behind the counter with the bloody finger tips is repulsive, this was the second time I went there and he cashed me out, and when I got to work I looked at the sub wrapper and there was blood smeared on the wrapper. I will never return and make sure to tell everyone.

I have been to supermarkets that are more authentic than this place. Walked in. Walked out. Drove a half hour to get here based on Unilocal reviews. Don’t waste your time.

I’m going to follow the crowd on this one and give out a well-deserved five stars. Here’s why. This unassuming deli has SO much to offer. Not only is it a deli and convenience-like store but they offer hot dishes, submarines, sandwiches, paninis and«stuffed breads»(reminds me of a Stromboli) among other noms. Today I finally(after a good ten minutes of weighing the options) settled on a turkey club panini with tomato, cheddar cheese and cranberry mayo that was on special. The ingredients blended together perfectly… seriously. It was delicious. Not only was the food incredible the staff were all very nice. They seemed like they all really enjoyed what they were doing and handed out the food with smiles and good spirits. I literally could eat here everyday and not get sick of it for the simple fact they have such a diverse menu and it’s quick(good for my half hour lunches!) Lastly, I’m seriously pumped Unilocal found this for me(and its directly across from my place of employment too-score!) I will definitely be returning and spreading the word along the way!

Came here while I was in town on business. Being from Chicago we have some great Italian deli’s so I was hoping this place would meet my expectations as I saw previous reviews on Unilocal.Have to say I am not disappointed at all. Went in asked for a recommendation and it was a daily veal special with spicy peppers. Veal was great, peppers were awesome, the bread was outstanding. Great staff, great service. Will be back next time I am in town.

This was such a perfect impromptu stop. I wasn’t sure if they had indoor seating and was quite happy when I saw they did have a few tables put up together. The staff was quite friendly, 3 ladies and one guy who was getting bullied by all three of em in humour. Quite amusing. First time so I tried a few things. The sausages were nicely done with the veggies around having such a delicious taste. The meatball sub sandwich again, nice amount of meatballs and a wickedly delicious bread and cheese. But the pièces de résistance was most definitely the Spinach and Gorgonzola stuffed hot pepper and the eggplant Parmesan. The pepper so delicious with the filling. I’ll admit the only thing I’d have liked a little more was if it had been in the oven to heat it up rather than the microwave. The eggplant though was so tasty! Def a stop worth while

Cute little Italian place for lunch. The owners are friendly and use your first name when talking to you. The food is great! I got a roasted red pepper and artichoke sandwich with fontina cheese, which was delicious and filling. I also highly recommend the stuffed peppers. My boyfriend recommends the cheesecake for dessert, which must be a popular item because when we got there for lunch they didn’t have any left! We opted for the carrot cake instead, which was amazing. The frosting was superb. I would definitely come here again! For the two of us to have our sandwiches, split a stuffed pepper, and split a piece of carrot cake, and have two bottles of water, it was around $ 25. Not bad at all on pricing!

Another GREAT lunch there again. Snovember upon us… couldn’t go to work… what to eat for lunch? Live in the main and transit area there is NO better spot than Louie ’ s. Homicide(slow roasted pork and peppers) tortellini salad, stuffed artichoke, prosciutto and pea frittata… all CRAZY food. Keep up the great work!

Went here on my lunch today, and as I entered I was immediately greeted by the friendly owners son. I asked for the pork tenderloin sub and he kindly let me know that it’s pork loin and not pork tenderloin. Did not make a difference to me and I ordered it hot with provolone, basil mayo and his recommendation the au jus(reminded me of turkey gravy). As I was waiting for my sub to be prepared the owners son made some small talk with me which I greatly appreciate as I would have been standing there in silence for 10 minutes otherwise. As he was talking to me he was cutting up some carrots for their split pea soup tomorrow(all of their soups are homemade and prepared fresh daily). The owner even popped his head out and joined our conversation for a bit. When I was in line to cash out a woman asked if a particular drink they had came in cans. The owner immediately replied to her«we don’t have it, but we can definitely order it for you». The customer service at this joint is incomparable and almost made me forget I had some delicious food waiting for me. I got back to work and opened my sub and immediately knew I was in for a treat. The pork was very tender and juicy, and the gravy/mayo/provolone combo was pure perfection. The bread was a standard Buffalo Costanzo’s roll but it was very fresh. I think the only thing I wish I had on this sub was some sauteed spinach or broccoli raab, but hey, you cant have everything! Also, they have many homemade salads, deserts(not sure if these are home made), stuffed breads and various Italian specialties. Oh and it’s a real Italian deli with specialty meats and other canned/jarred good. In summary I will be back here again and again not only for the food, but the customer service.

My boyfriend and I go here several times a week. Most of the staff know us by name when we walk in which is always nice. The soups are homemade and the sandwiches are great! We usually get the breaded and baked chicken or sometimes I get the pork loin with a hot stuffed banana pepper on top. All meats and cheeses are fresh and top quality. They also make mini pizzas, a variety of cold salads, desserts and Stromboli in house which are delish! The rolls are not homemade but is believe they are locally made. If you need any specialty Italian items they have a grocery store inside as well. I have not used them for catering before but I do know that they are on my list for the near future.

Go to Louie’s Deli! Their sandwiches are great. The stuffed bread is awesome. Sausage tortellini soup is delish, split pea soup is great too. Try a «little joe.» Also try a turkey berry. The chicken cutlet on wheat is my go-to sandwich. Also, if you eat in, they have Tabasco and crushed red pepper, a major plus in my book.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever consumed came straight from Louie’s Deli & Imports. Why did it take so long for me to find out about Louie’s? Why is Louie’s not closer to my home? Holy awesome, I have to get back here ASAP! Although I was sadly pressed for time, I met«Adam O.» here for lunch and was not disappointed in the least bit. Walking towards Louie’s, I was expecting a sandwich/sub shop. Boy was I wrong. I opened the door to the hustling and bustling Louie’s lunch crowd, a large deli, and what do you know… a variety of Italian imports! Both Adam and I got Honey Maple Turkey Sandwiches with cranberry mayo(can you say YUM) on Italian(of course). After about a 10 minute wait, we picked out our drinks and had our sandwiches. This was also my first time trying a «Bai 5» beverage. Everything was so, so good and reasonably priced. I want more. We also had a cuccidatti for dessert… I will be back to pick some up for a future family party. That cookie was the closest thing I might ever taste that reminds me of the cookies my grandma made. I will be back in the very near future to check out the rest of what Louie’s Deli & Imports has to offer… i.e., meatballs, imports, salads, etc. It was awesome to see and hear the true mom-and-pop atmosphere. All in all, I highly recommend this spot to everyone! Can’t wait to go back!

Yow! This is a gem. Their meats were awesome. I’ve been bringing home the sandwiches for my girls and they love them. Clean and friendly. If I call the order in its ready very quickly. Everything is high quality.

If your heritage stems from Italian descent in any percentage and you do not frequent Louie’s Deli your ancestors would be ashamed. Featuring multiple Italian favorites including various forms of Muffuletta Bread, Italian sausage, homemade sauces and lasagna and even homemade Italian cookies including my favorite; Cuccidatis. Whether you visit Louie’s to get the usual sandwich or even an individual meatball, the satisfaction yielded is analogous to someone cutting you off on the thruway exceeding the speed limit and being pulled over shortly thereafter. If ever in the Clarence/Williamsville area be sure to experience what I’ve come to love and cherish, that is Louie’s Deli.

The name of this place is actually Louie’s Deli & I.M. Ports, because as well as serving up delicious deli fare, it also has little USB ports dotted around the shop, where you can plug in a laptop or other electronic device, and connect to any number of instant messaging services. How awesome is that. Well it would be awesome if it was true. But what is true is that this is an excellent deli with innovative and delicious sandwiches. This place is really close to where I am based when I am in this region, which is «une shame» because I don’t like it anywhere nearly as much as I like Marco’s and Joe’s, which are my kind of special and have a couple of very special items. However this place is really good too, it’s competitively priced, and someone who knows Cannolis says that this place has the best Cannolis in Buffalo. Didn’t know that? So come out here and give one a try, then. It’s a really cute place, the wait time is sometimes kind of long(10 – 15 mins at times) but it’s worth it for the deliciousness. I’m not going to give it a 5 just because I reserve that rating for perfection or near perfection, but this place is definitely well worth your time and a visit. I loved the spicy Homicide Squad sandwich, the Prima Deluxe is also delicious, as is Louie’s Royal(fit for a king, you know), and I’ll be trying some of the others at some point soon. Update: I tried the turkey sandwich here(the fancy one named after the address) and it’s good, but it didn’t blow me away and the cheese was very strong and overpowered the sandwich. I tried the Pasta Fasooli(sp?) and it’s incredible. Hot and heavy and utterly delicious. I also tried the meatball and was not blown away at all. Compared to Osteria and especially the magnificent Mulberry, it didn’t do it for me. And I tried their pasta salad, and it’s excellent, but not on the same level as Guercio. If the only thing I’d had was their Fasooli, I’d give this place a 5. But all things considered, it’s still right on that borderline, and in the 4 category to me.

I LOVELOUIES and everything about it. The Louie’s family is amazing. Everything on the Louie’s menu is fresh and delicious. I have had everything from soups, to sandwiches to pasta dishes. I love that everything is homemade, and you can really taste that it is homemade. I am VERY picky about my pasta sauce, and I LOVE their marinara. They sell quarts of their homemade marinara in their freezer section, which I pick up for the house. Their pasta fazool is the best in WNY. They even deliver if you have a large order and are close enough to their store. Louie’s also has a great selection of imported Italian foods. Can’t say enough, I love you Louie’s!

WOW! This has to be one of the best(if not THE best) Italian deli I’ve ever eaten at. Even better than those I’ve visited in NYC’s Little Italy, North Beach in San Francisco, and the North End in Boston… and that’s saying A LOT! It’s an Italian grocery store, a bakery, and a sandwich shop… and everything is as DELICIOUS as can be. On my most recent visit I had a sandwich: the«8226 Main Street»(roasted turkey, sun-dried tomatoes, fontinella cheese, romaine lettuce, and vinaigrette). WOW! I don’t know what I liked better… the fillings or the house-made Italian roll they were served on. Everything was fresh and delicious and absolutely perfect. I ordered a small cup of olive salad to go with it. SUPERFRESH green and black olives, three kinds of peppers and celery in a wonderful oil and vinegar dressing. YUM! For dessert I just couldn’t resist the HOMEMADE(!!!) Italian cookies. I ordered a couple of each kind… enjoyed two as I sat there… and brought the rest home. I just can’t wait for breakfast tomorrow to enjoy them with my coffee!

Okay… YUM! I wanted to try one of everything and wish I had looked at a menu before hand! I was totally overwhelmed and confused and had sensory overload between looking at the huge sandwich menu, all of the salads, the meats, the jars of peppers, desserts too?! AHHHH! I had the Little Joe sandwich and the Sausage Tortellini soup. SO tasty! This place is a gold mine of Italian delicacies and deliciousness. I’m so glad I stopped in and got lunch here. The soup was good but only had like 3 tortellini and lots of huge veggie pieces. Gondola tortellini though, which are THEBEST. If you’re in the area and are looking for a really good deli, you can’t go wrong with Louie’s! This whole plaza area is full of tasty eats… Louie’s, Gate House Grill, Bill Gray’s(Abbott’s Custard)… Mmmmm!
