The most distinctive thing about Sweet Tomatoes is the quality of the food. The salads are always fresh, imaginative, and really tasty. (Joan’s broccoli is my favorite.). And the soups are incredible. I have tried many times to duplicate their mushroom soup at home, but can’t get there. Usually costs around $ 10 for lunch. It’s really great value.

Sweet Tomatoes is always good food at reasonable prices. This location is clean, staff is friendly and helpful and they keep the food well stocked so there are no hold-​ups. Joan’s Broccoli Madness is one of my favorites, soups and pasta’s are tasty. Ideal choice when you don’t feel like cooking and want something fast, healthy and tastes good.

Very good; I was brought here one eve in late September by my Daughter’s family, We all dropped in here for Dinner; Even though I’m not that much into Vegetarian faire I did like this. I must explain though my concept of Vegetarian didn’t much go past Chef’s/Ceasars Salads or Cole Slaw? But I was pleasantly amazed by the long Cuisine line which was delightful. Everything was clean, fresh and scrumptiously delicious !! I enjoyed our meal immensely ! I shall come again whenever the opportunity arises again whenever I’m in the neighborhood visiting again.

Sweet tomatoes is great! High quality, fresh & delicious. We eat here once a week. Plenty of vegetarian & carnivore options! The Santa Fe Black bean chili is my favorite, my husband loves the cream of mushroom. Huge salad bar, multiple homemade soups, three kinds of homemade pasta, fresh baked breads & really yummy soft serve frozen yogurt. Yum $

Went for dinner, was impressed with the very friendly staff who were always going around keeping everything spotless. All the salad fixings were crunchy and fresh, soup was great very satisfied with my experience :) I’m also a bathroom snob and theirs was very clean and smelled fresh

We came for Sunday breakfast. I wasn’t thrilled. It was just ok. nothing was horrible, most of it was just bland and little flavor. I typically enjoy sweet tomatoes but this time was not terribly moved.

This location was kind of small, and didnt have the variety of selection that my home location does. BUT… it was clean, the service was friendly, and the food was well prepared and fresh. We would certainly come by again next time we come through the area and especially with a few hungry soccer players between games during a big tournament.
There were a lot of service members in uniform coming in and out, and thats always nice to see and interact with. The manager came by and asked how things were, after he greeted us in the original line and saved a table for our group of 5.

Sweet tomatoes serves a great buffet. They start you off with the salad, but there is an all you can eat buffet with soups and other menu items as well.

I had a much better experience here today!!! The lines were very clean. I go crazy on the salad here which doesn’t happen when I go to other buffets. We got our dirty plates taken away quickly. This was the first time my hubby and dad came here and they were impressed by the variety of the food here. We plan on making Sweet Tomatoes a regular stop when we’re in the Portland area! Wishing they had a few restaurants in Mid-​WA state!

As a family with two young children, we LOVE Sweet Tomatoes! This location was large and the service was awesome! Ladies were there to pick up our plates as soon as they were empty without being obtrusive. The salad and food bars were clean and orderly, which I would imagine could be a difficult feat at a place like this. Prices are reasonable (especially with coupons, which can always be found). Not fine dining, but very easy and everyone leaves happy!

The staff is nice. The place is clean. The salad bar is ALWAYS well-​stocked. They make DELICIOUS SOUP!!! The bathrooms are clean and serviced. And my family never leaves hungry.

This is the worst food I have ever had in my life. Phone for like it taste like food from jail. It is not good it was like powdered eggs water down oatmeal it’s a horrible surplus the syrup was not sweet.
I would not eat here even if I got a gift card I would resell it on craigslist!

It’s cheap for a salad buffet. But remember that’s about it, salad and soup so you gotta be ok with that. Some of the stuff can be bland like the chicken noodle soup but others are pretty good. But I like going here occasionally. If you like these categories try it out. And there’s focaccia bread to make up for the healthier things as well as the dessert. It’s a family place and it’s usually crowded. But the restaurant is big. At least I don’t feel guilty afterwards and you can definitely get full

We seldom come here anymore because of the inconsistency. My wife refuses to eat here, but my son used to love it. At 9, it is telling that he thought the pizza and muffins were all overcooked.
This place is what it is, but I would hope you could get muffins right. Time and again, they’ve just been so hit and miss.

For starters, the place smelled like vinegar and regret, not entirely appetizing. I suppose if you’re looking for a place to tie on the ol’ feed bag, this place would fit the bill, but don’t expect gourmet… anything.
Looking for a boost in your self confidence? There’s enough waddling Mondoshawans here to make anyone feel pretty again.
