Hot Dog on a Stick

There was nobody in line, and I see why.
I waited over 25 minutes for our order! Had to give my order slowly three times!
When I ask’d to speak with a manager was told: «I’m the only one here & I’m so far behind on my side work, so, yeah, your order should be ready in, like, five-​ten minutes. I should of said something» & was told after the fifth time checking on my order «our fryer is broke, I don’t know how to fix it». Ask’d for my money back, was told «sorry we don’t do that»!
The customer behind me and I, had to return the fries that were served: they were still frozen, cold, & dripping with oil!
Most DISGUSTING thing I’ve ever got from Hot Dog On a Stick!
Was told to come back in 3 minutes, went back in the 3 minutes to get my replacement foods, the cashier put up a sign saying they were closed!
BOYCOTT!!!
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I loved their Hot Dog on a Bun, it was piping hot and had just enough frying time.
Their fried cheese on a stick was okay but had just a bit too much batter.

This place is a classic! Their all-​beef corn dogs with that classically awesome batter is such a favorite of mine, totally comfort food that brings back lots of memories when I was little and my Mom and I would grab a corn dog and fresh-​squeezed lemonade for a relatively inexpensive quick lunch or snack. Love it!

Deep Fried Cheese in a Batter…
I almost feel guilty just writing this review because i love cheese THAT MUCH!
I’ve never had the Hot Dog on a Stick but Cheese on a stick is absolute phenomenal!
Everytime I go i always end up getting one American and one Pepper Jack just so i can get a variety.
It’s too bad its unhealthy. God’s way of reminding us we cant have it all. Haha.

The Big Squeeze comes with hot dog on a stick and large lemonade with fries for $ 8 at first u think it’s a good deal but when u add the individual items up it’s the same thing! LMAO
They have 65 cent funnel cake sticks for their 65^th anniversary…

I haven’t had a Hot Dog on a Stick in YEARS, but my Mom had a Groupon and was sick in bed so I took my Grandma out for some fried snacks and lemonade. The first thing I noticed was that their menu has expanded somewhat with Hot Dog on a Bun (ahem, a regular hot dog) and funnel cake sticks. I was also surprised by how «low-​cal» the hot dog on a sticks are — only 250 calories! That doesn’t seem too bad to me for fried, battered meat. I guess it’s because they are turkey dogs.
We ordered 1 combo meal and 1 hot dog on a stick and the total was $ 12. Whaaat? The combo meal was almost $ 9 which seems excessive because one hot dog is not that filling. I do however, like their fries quite a bit. The lemonade was so big we couldn’t even finish it between the two of us. The hot dog just wasn’t as good as my childhood memories lead me to believe. I think I prefer regular corn dogs and not the pancakey stuff that hot dog on a stick has. Oh well, I’ll be back if I’m having fair food withdrawals.

Service is always awesome. Food is always hot. Is there anything else left to discuss? Yeah, I thought so LOL… oh wait, I never knew it was a turkey dog on a stick. What an awesome healthier alternative. And if you’re like me and can’t finish all those fries that comes with a normal meal, you should order a child’s one. It’s the perfect size and you don’t have to feel guilty eating a butt load of fries:)

Ok I have a confession to make. I love mall food. I rarely eat it, but I love it.
I mean, have you tried a pepper jack cheese on a stick? Have you really? How can you resist?
On my last trip to AMC20, I stopped by for a quick dinner. Then I saw the sign. Free samples, every day, no purchase necessary. Whatttt? What kinds of samples!!!
Well, the girl informed me that I could have a sample of ANYTHING I wanted. Whoa.
So I ended up buying a hot dog on a stick, and we also walked away with two lollipop shaped, perfectly cooked, cheese on a sticks.

This place has bomb lemonade and if you come on Tuesdays, they have $ 1 hot dog on a stick, which is soooo good :). Maybe not here sometimes because the staff gets lazy, but good nonetheless

Honestly, expect exactly what you feel you’ll get from the look of this place. it’s simple… too simple.
I don’t know if it’s the economy or what, but there was this poor girl doing everything by herself. taking the orders, cooking them, putting them together, which made for a pretty freakin’ long wait considering I just ordered cheese on a stick… their cooking supplies are so small. the fryers look like toys.
One perk is they do try to do some decent marketing by offering $ 1 hot dog on a stick Tuesdays, and other things following twitter, etc.
The prices are nuts. I paid $ 2.75 for batter and a stick of cheese… the hot dog looked so small too…
Honestly the only pro is that your food’s cooked to order so it’s nice, fresh n hot instead of drying up under a heat lamp for hours.
The taste? Tasted like nothing. no flavor to the cheese… threw it out after a bite or two.

You were supposed to get a 3 star rating for the 3 minutes it takes to cook my American Cheese on a Stick and my boyfriend’s Corn Dog on a Stick, but since you have $ 1 Corn Dogs on TUESDAYS, I generously bumped you up a star.
I also like the Buy a $ 5 Gift Card, get a free regular size Lemonade deal you got going there. Keep up the good work. Too bad you’re located right next to the restrooms; I would’ve given you 5 stars!

How can you go wrong with deep fried battered hot dogs or cheese?
First time at this location (10:30 am on a Friday) and my only gripe is that they could have cooked my pepperjack cheese a little longer. Typically the cheese is melted throughout while i eat but this time around the center, the cheese was slightly more firm.
I still enjoyed it.
The lime lemonade was a little less sour compared to the other locations I’ve been to. Still tasted great though.
