We purchased family room furniture– 2 couches and 1 recliner 4 years ago. The recliner was repaired 2 years ago– the frame broke. It has now broken again. There are nails that rip through your hand if you search for something on the sides or cushions. The couch springs on both couches stick but because they have not gone through the fabric they will not repair– even though we have a full 5 year warranty. Our kids have their own homes now so we don’t have children on the furniture. JC Penny used to have quality furniture– those days are gone.

What on Earth is happening to this store? first I go in to buy a pair of pants… they ONLY carry 3 brands of jeans and ALL CHEAP!!! not to mention 90% of them are aimed towards the teen’s…no, not all of us want our butts showing or want our pants sitting below our waist… and THEN I go in to look for bedroom curtains, ANOTHER BUST! My husband and I actually found two pairs that we wanted to buy for our room (that were NOT cheap) and our son found a pair for his room… again NOT cheap… and they were out of ALL 3 pairs, they didn’t have a single one in stock! (they were not online only stock) we started looking through the bins of the other curtains and it looked like they were going out of business! no wonder their sales are down… they don’t have any stock to sell! Thinkin’ that we are going to take out business elsewhere from now on…
