Frederick’s of Hollywood

They are closed now so sad. I loved how the items at this store was cute and not cheap sometimes I would find stuff US made here which is great. This place will be missed

I contacted this store by telephone asking if an item i had seen online was in-​deed stocked in their store. I don’t normally shop from stores unless I want it immediately, I prefer to online shop. Any who the reason being why I called to confirm and the phone girl placed on hold for me for that day, til my arrival is I live 2hrs away. Comes to find out what she had placed on hold was no where close to what I had asked for. She was not there but the other blond dim whits gave me the worst possible customer service you could give.
I don’t see how you can mix up an item with a item number unless you are either blind or just dumb. I suggest this location hire real customer service reps who have eyes.
Do yourself a favor and online shop when you will get what you need the 1^st go.

What I love about this store is that they are usually clean and in-​stock, and the lingerie here is just cuter than it is anywhere else for the same price. This particular store usually has an amazing clearance section.
They also have bras in almost every size imaginable, unlike the competition which stops a lot of their lines at a 38C (rude).
What I don’t like about this store is that, although the girls might seem sweet and friendly at first, they are all about the sale, and I have had them lie to me about the products on several occasions so that they could make a sale.
Most memorably, the first time I came in, I asked for a cute bra with great support, the girl recommended a certain bra, assured me that it was very supportive, and sold it to me. After wearing it to work three or four times, it held up about as well as a Target bra (not well at all). So I came back in to ask for an exchange, and the SAME girl says, «This bra is not meant to be supportive, it’s a lingerie bra.» What? (Rude.)
On another occasion, I asked for a lactation bra, and the girl tried to sell me a normal bra, which, according to her, could just be pulled down. (No, honey, that’s not how it works.)
Still, their stuff is super cute, and no one else carries that many corsets in that many shapes, sizes, and colors, and no one else is as sweet about helping my lace it up since I’m clumsy with that type of thing. Bottom line, it is a good place to shop, but just double check return policies, and take anything that could be said to make a sale with a grain of salt.

«Get your freak on» by Missy Elliot lyrics come to mind every time I walk into this store. The selection is very good, the quality of the lingerie is OK and I have found a few nice pieces. This is the store to come in for sexy, costume-​y, fun outfits. Can you hear the lyrics now too? Yup, this is what this store is for.
I come in because I get a kick out of Frederick’s of Hollywood but I haven’t purchased much the last couple of times I’ve been in there. Don’t ask why. The lyrics just started to sound muffled in my head right now at the thought of having to answer you.
I wish I could review this place with class and elegance but this is Frederick’s of Hollywood we are talking about. Where it is not cheap to look cheap and love it.
My 5 star rating is NOT because compared to any other lingerie store they are as good as it gets but they are as good as it gets for what THEY sell.
Go ahead ladies… and gentlemen… spice it up, pay them a visit and… Get your freak on! ;)
