Donut King has a nice donut variety and I usually come here when I’m down for a donut! AAND they’re open 24/7…I mean. I wont usually need a donut at 3AM but it’s nice to know if I did, I’d be set :) I’ve tried their ham&cheese croissant… it was delicious :) I’ma fan!

Love this place. It is a great part of a group of donut shops owned by the same family. The service is always very friendly and the donuts are addicting! They have great prices (especially on their dozen donut holes) and the donuts are fresh! Each time I come in, a new batch has just been made. Also nice that it’s open 24 hours for those of you who have late night donut cravings.

Best apple fritters I have had in years. Consistently great too. Nice people, fast service, good price. My daily stop on the way to work.

I love this donut shop. The donuts are delishes. I also love there coffees. They do specialty coffees as well. They are pricey but the donuts are really good. I dont go very often, but never disappointed.

We’ve been coming here for years! The glazed twists are always delicious and they don’t leave that weird film on the roof of your mouth like some places.
Prices are a tad higher than other places, but I feel it’s worth it. Definitely try it out.

High priced & poor customer service made for an awful experience.
I went in and ordered 2 dozen donuts. $ 19.99. The guy started mixing my box with regular donuts and specialty donuts. I was happy at this point, then a lady came behind him to check his work and admonished him right in front of me, grabbed the boxes out of his hands and put all the specialty donuts back. There were only three in each box, but still.
The spot I go too hooks up a specialty box of 2 dozen for $ 19.99 plus they usually throw a few extra in!
The donuts tasted stale.
Will not be back again.

Just ok. Nothing special. A little pricey for donuts. Lady was rude this morning and not friendly or appreciative of business. Might or might not come back when in the area, I wouldn’t break my neck to come here though.

24 hour donuts, pleasant staff and good prices. Love the huge selection. Definitely the king of donuts.

It’s great that this stop is open 24 hours but I think that since that is the case, the donuts aren’t as fresh and soft as they would be if they weren’t left out for long periods of time. The donuts we ate were good but the taste of chocolate wasn’t all there. The guy behind the counter was really friendly which is always a good thing. Overall I’d give it a 3.5÷5 and would go back.

If you want hard, overpriced stale donuts come here! :D
I recommend «Richards Donuts» instead, only came here because its ²⁴⁄₇

THE place for late night raids, donuts made fresh starting at 2−3am
No day old donuts here, they are made fresh daily. Pleasant quick service, fresh coffee. I highly recommend the Bavarian filled cream puffs (be warned, like beignets at Café Du Monde in New Orleans, you can end up wearing a tiny bit of powdered sugar, get napkins).These 2 – 4 bite darlings are always requested at meetings, and for more substantial fare, you can get this filling or whipped topping in maple bars. They will fill donuts for you too if they’re not in the display case. Thanks to Donut King for being here when I need you… no matter what time the craving hits

Donut King is called that for a reason. It is the King of all donuts especially the Apple fritter. Just get there early because sometimes they sell out… Never disappointed.

The older Asian man that works there is great! Super friendly and fast. He knows my son’s usual order (donut holes) and as soon as he sees us he’s bagging them up. Lots of good donuts to choose from. Open 24 hours too for late night munchies

DonutKing probably has some of the best donuts in town not to mention there a 24hr location. On of the main things I like is that you will never revive a old donut.
There a must try if your into authentic style donuts

OMG, when u get to within a block of this place, you’re nose will start doing a happy dance and want to go in faster than your feet can take you there!
I got a mixed box to take to Citrus Dental, I love them too but that’s another review, I asked the friendly face behind the counter that he do the selection… he laughed too when I told him where they were going, but I kid you not– OMG!
I’ve driven past them and never knew that slice of heaven was there, but will always go back when there’s a good reason.

A basic, good donut shop. Nothing extraordinary, but I don’t think I have ever had an old/​stale donut here, and one time they made us a fresh donut with chocolate topping when they were out.
Being 24 hours, have a lot of fond memories of taking my little sisters here on weekends at 3 in the morning (as I work night shift during the week, my schedule is off). Good times.
They also never seem to mind if you take your time… hadn’t seen someone in a while, met here for a snack, stayed an hour, and we didn’t feel rushed at all.

I do not understand the point of being a 24 hr donut shop if you arent making donuts round the clock.
First visit here with a friend (we both had a late night sweet tooth) and what a disappointment. The case had two muffins and a few dozen donuts in it — the kind that get left uneaten in the breakroom because your coworkers took all the good donuts from the pink box.
I dont usually expect much from a 24 hr establishment but since they arent actually baking donuts all day it would be a good idea to at least clean the tables off. This place was dirty and when we realized we couldnt find a table without crumbs on the seat and a sticky tabletop we left.
Oh well. I will throw in an extra star for keeping me away from extra unneeded, empty calories.

I love that their donuts are fresh all day long. Every time I walk in they’re adding new donuts to the display case. They’re always friendly, offer a wide variety (including eclaires & Bavarian Custard, my favs) & since they’re open 24 hours a day I can pretty much get my donut fix at any time.

The best donut shop in north Sac. I’ve loved this place for years, and the donuts are still as good as ever. I don’t have a specific favorite, as all the standbys are great (glazed, sugar, buttermilk, chocolate logs, bavarian cream filled, etc.). The spot stays open 24 hours a day, which is another plus.
This is a donut shop Homer Simpson would give a big thumbs up to. Mmmmm glazed goodness!
