UPS Customer Center

I paid $ 43.95 for next day shipping on a product that was only $ 45.00, so the shipping doubled my cost. UPS used weather as an excuse (there was one day of serious rain at their hub in KY, but the airport was not closed, and they have other hubs they can use!) to deliver a package that shipped on a Thursday and did not arrive until Monday. When I called on Saturday to inquire why it was not being delivered on Saturday, they said it would only be delivered on a Saturday if it was ordered next day shipping on a Friday. So my package was sitting at a UPS facility about 50 miles from my house and was not being delivered until Monday. This was an item I despirately needed quickly, and no longer needed four days later. I paid $ 43.95 to get my package in the same amount of time that regular U.S. mail shipping would have done for free.
Customer service was grossly inadequate in doing anything to assist me with getting my package, and of course refused to refund any of the shipping price. From now on I will exclusively use FedEx for urgent items, and the good old U.S. Post Office for everything else — it might take longer but it’s a hell of a lot cheaper and I won’t have expectations that won’t be fulfilled. Thanks for nothing UPS — customer service is obviously not your strength, and gosh neither is reliable shipping.

Not pleased… though the personnel at the location are very friendly and try to help. If you’ve previously done stuff on line and have a problem… the local place can’t help which is annoying. I’ve also had shipments damaged and lately, UPS has denied a claim for all of $ 54.00. I hope they’ve enjoyed my business; they are not getting any more. Deano

Love this location — it’s right in the Tri-​County area and the people who work there are quick, professional and friendly. They will help you in any way they can. It’s close to our house, so it’s where I go to pick up packages. I don’t like having to wait around for a package to be signed for & delivered, so I joined my ups via the internet. Now, I get notices beforehand and I can change either the delivery window time, have it left with a neighbor or can go here and pick it up at my convenience after showing a photo id.
