Love Skyline! I always order a four-way with beans and a coney, no onions. The service is always fast, and the waters are always kept filled. I have never experienced any of the curtness/rudeness that others have posted. My waitress has always been friendly and efficient. Plus, I can always depend on the same quality, portion, and delicious, feathery cheese on top!

I love Skyline. Every time I’m in town I stop(at least once) to fulfill my need. And often I go to this location as it is the most convenient, but the past two times I went here have been really bad experiences on the customer service end. Both times we went shortly after lunch and there were only a couple of other patrons in the restaurant. Despite not being busy, it took at least 5 to 10 minutes on both occasions for a waitress to come over. Multiple people were standing around doing absolutely nothing, but because they weren’t the waitress they just stood and stared at us. Meanwhile, the waitress was in the back, getting a drink, folding silverware, or wiping down a table. One of these times, the person I was eating with had their order messed up; she ordered a 4-way with onions and they forgot the onions and put a very scant amount of cheese on. I think I will be going to the Kenwood location going forward. I used to love this location, but the poor service means I won’t be going back any time soon.

Super friendly server(Tiffany) this Sunday evening, their drive-thru was doing a brisk business and she executed the perfect 3 way in record time. Always prefer the locations owned by George, his Kenwood location is my favorite, but this is closer to the hotel. Had to get one more fix in before I travel back to Chicago. #ItsSkylineTime @skylinechili

I just moved here to cincinnati about 3 weeks ago and I have been blown away by how great the customer service has been in EVERYPLACE I’ve been to, izzys, big boy, blue ash chilli, gold star chilli, laRosas, all of the other skylines besides this one! I went in there on Sunday and the guy at the counter acted like I was bothering him by coming in and trying to order something. If you don’t like your job just quit. The food was great as always but this was an awful experience. I guess we’ll just have to skip this place for now on.

We waited ten minutes for our order. When they finally took it they were rude and bitter. It took over 30 minutes for us to receive our food. I will never come to this Skyline again.

Born and raised, spent most of my days in. .. Cincinnati where I appreciate the chili parlor. Yes, I love skyline and was in town for less than 24 hours over the weekend and made sure to hit this location. Yeah, the staff can be curt(but at least they’re not bookies like the Kenwood location), but the food is worth it. Chili cheese coney with mustard and onion and small three-way, please! And for those haters who are out-of-towners, your palate’s just aren’t sophisticated enough for Skyline.

While visit Blue Ash for work, I was told by a co-worker to visit Skyline Chili for their great food. I had the vegetarian black bean burrito that was filled with unseasoned beans and mountain of cheese on top. By the end of trying to complete this burrito it was a soggy mess and the worst burrito I have ever had. Do not return if you are visiting from outside the area.

Probably my favorite Skyline in the Cincinatti area because of the great staff. Perfect, just as you remembered«three ways» and«four ways» Much fresher and tastier than I remember. Do not miss if you are in the area.

After hearing so much about Skyline I made it a point to check it out when I was in Cincy. I have to say I was disappointed. The best way I can describe the place is a fast food place with bland food. There are far better places in Cincy to get your Cincinnati-Style Chili… just ask Guy Skyline would do in a pinch but I would pass next time I had the option.

If you’ve never had Skyline and you live in the vicinity of one. You should be ashamed of yourself. The sweet nectar of life was created in their«special sauce» when making traditional Cincinnati style chili. An original 3 way(Hey oohhhhh!) comes with spaghetti, chili and cheese. Good lordy the cheese. Piled high and served with a side of oyster crackers. They also have a 4 way with onions or red beans or a 5 way with both. Every time I go, I overdo it. My Order: 1 small ‘4 Way’ with onions 1 cheese coney with mustard(yes, chili comes on it too). The coney’s are small, but with all the fixins they are filling. I asked our waitress what was the most anyone has ever eaten and she said«probably about 12 coneys.» All I can say to that is, holy heartburn. I come to Cincinnati once a year for about 4 – 5 days and I eat it maybe daily… even at the wee hours and this location is open LATE! HOORAY! You feel totally awesome and ready for a nap after a large one, but trust its worth it. I die.
