I think Skyline is overrated compared to its competitor. The chili is pretty runny and a bit bland. Good for my kids because of the mild flavor but I prefer spice. The prices are rediculous in my opinion. Everything is so cheap (i.e. the buns, spaghetti, hot dogs etc) but they charge $ 8.00 for 2 coneys and a drink. I don’t understand the logic behind the pricing.

I’m from Texas, so we don’t have «Skyline Chili» there… this was my first experience with the restaurant. This place was recommended to me by a local, paired with a decent Unilocal rating, I think my expectations exceeded appetite. As far as service, I came in, and had my food in front of me within 2 minutes. I ordered a «5 way», that my waitress recommended. I think the spaghetti chili has potential, however, I wasn’t impressed with the practically flavorless dish. Their chili was runny and had no spice… I basically paid $ 7 for a plate of spaghetti soup with a pile of cheese on top. Just wasn’t really what I was expecting from a «signature» famous dish… very bland and overpriced for what it really is. Good service… but I came, I ate, and I don’t feel the need to eat again.

Not impressed with this skyline at all! The server was nice and the service was fast. However, I ordered 3 cheese coneys, juicy. This means not exactly extra chili but be generous. This verbiage is suppose to keep you from paying for extra. These coneys came out the driest coneys I have ever received at a skyline. Then when I said they were dry they brought me a little bowl of chili and then charged me… My wife’s potato had no chili in the potato it was all around the outside. Needless to say I will not be revisiting this skyline again.

I’m not a fan of Skyline Chili, but I had to bring my husband here while visiting Cincinnati. Besides, Skyline is one of the things likely to come up immediately when he tells his pals where he spent the holiday.
The food here was prepared and presented well for Skyline, and the staff was super, duper friendly. We had a pleasant experience, even though I’m not thrilled with the menu.

This is my first trip to a Skyline Chilli’s in my life do I didn’t know what to expect. The fact that the parking lot was almost completely full was a good sign that something good was in store.
For under $ 20 I got quite a bit of food. I wanted to try a few menu items. I got the chilli burrito and the 4-​way chilli Mac.
The burrito was dissapointing. I looked in my to go box and thought they had only included the cheese and veggies. Upon closer examination there was indeed a burrito but it was super flat and barely had any chilli in it.
The 4-​way Mac was very good tho. The chili that I could actually taste in this case was very good. However there was a lot of water/​grease in the bottom of the tray which watered down the taste.
The gals working at the place were very nice and they had a drive thru and carry out options. I might come back here for a straight up bowl of chili but wouldn’t go out of my way. Glad I got to try it while in town!

The reviews here make no sense! If you are from Cincinnati then you know this place is the bomb. Only downfall is this particular location does not sell the products like canned chili, bottles of hot sauce etc. And a lot of others so. Coneys rocked, super 4 way with onions rocked, bowl of chili rocked and I love the hot sauce here as well. 4 stars because they didn’t sell the products but the food was great, little different if your not from Cincy but eat with an open mind because this rocks!!!

Not a bad place to get some chili. Never went to a place for just chili food. But it wasn’t as bad as I though it was going to be. I think they need a bigger menu and maybe a few different things to bring in new people. Will hit this place up again down the line.
