Rhino’s Frozen Yogurt & Soft Serve

Good stuff, totally unexpected for a gas station! I’m still confused if it’s frozen yogurt or soft serve ice cream, but either way it’s tasty!
You have the option of picking a 12oz or 16oz cup or a cone. I went with the 12oz cup and used a divider to pick a few flavors (the dividers are kinda flimsy and made the cup feel much smaller). I’m sad that they didn’t have a salted caramel flavor this time, but they did have a few other yummy options. Like most froyo places, they have 1 flavor on each side of the machine, then a middle lever that mixes those two flavors together (chocolate on the left, peanut butter on the right, then peanut butter cup in the middle).
One disappointing thing is that the flavors are all very runny. They need to be a little more frozen. I actually brought mine home and put it in the freezer for an hour before eating it.
One thing that is not disappointing — the toppings! Holy moly! Just about everything you can think of to top your froyo! I was in heaven! If I had to guess, I would say at least 30 different toppings, probably more. And that doesn’t include the 8 – 10 sauces you can also top with! Good luck to the indecisive people… you’ll either be there all day deciding or have the most expensive cup ever.
But the good news is that I made it out with a 10oz cup (froyo and toppings) that was just less than $ 5. Super affordable!

You would never expect to find frozen yogurt in a gas station (much less clean, delicious frozen yogurt!). This place puts the other chain fro yo spots to shame. The toppings are fresher and more plentiful (think six different colors of sprinkles alone). The price is much more affordable. But the kicker is the little plastic spoons they give you that change color when put in the ice cream. My three year old and I were equally excited about this. With summer approaching, this is the hidden gem to visit !!

As a big fan of Yagoot and Orange Leaf, I was so excited to see this place. I went in hoping that it would taste as good as my favorite frozen yogurt place. The yogurt was very runny. The flavor was too bland. I liked the fact that there are plenty of toppings to choose from. I went in a couple times and not going anymore.

Amazing beer selection. Lots of local microbrews. Rivals whole foods beer selection in quality. Really superior taste

We stopped in and got some ice cream tonight and it was great! We are from out of town and have a comparable place at home but this was better than the tropical moon where we live.

Came in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised! Cheaper than Orange Leaf, but just as many awesome flavors and toppings. It’s pretty nice for a gas station frozen yogurt place. Only downfall is there’s no place to sit– definitely grab and go.

The best soft serve around! I seriously love this place. So many flavors and toppings to choose from, and it’s open ²⁴⁄₇.

Everything about Rhino’s Frozen Yogurt & Soft Serve is incredible. There is nothing that is not amazing.
First of all, this is a self-​serve froyo place in a gas station. Whose idea was this? I don’t really know, but that person is a mad genius. It was sort of a bad idea because, you know, it’s in a gas station, but then it’s like… WHY NOT?! And it’s hard to argue with that logic.
Second of all, Rhinos are awesome. They are incredibly endangered because all sorts of people want to grind up their horns and eat them for medicine. This doesn’t actually work because rhino horns are made up of the same material as fingernails. Bottom line: Bite your fingernails and SAVE THE RHINOS.
But really, the flavors are interesting. The toppings are plentiful, well stocked and the area is kept extremely clean. The prices are CHEAP and you can even get a cone.
Finally, Rhino’s usually has a coupon in the Cincinnati «REACH» magazine. This last ad really takes the cake. For a Valentine’s version they altered the Jared Galleria of Jewelry tagline to «He Went to Rhino’s!» I have never been so amused by anything, at least in a coupon booklet, in my life. Thank you, Rhino’s.

I love soft serve ice cream and this is the place. I would put this up against any soft serve i have ever had in the past. Plus the flavors change all of the time with some very creative (and delicious) combinations. They also offer a huge variety of toppings. If you are in or near Blue Ash, I suggest stopping in and getting some.
