I’ve been going to Prestige for about six years and I love it there. They did my prom up-do. I go there several times a year to get my eyebrows done and for trims, my sister got her highlights done there, and Michelle does great work on hair. Trims, razoring, thinning, she does it all. I really appreciate how Michelle pays attention to my natural waves. Other stylists tend to straighten it before styling it, thus making my hair look odd when it returns to its natural waviness. So, people with natural waves, worry not about someone straightening your hair and cutting it, only to have it returned to an awkward hairstyle. If you tell Michelle you have waves, she will be mindful of them and style your hair as it naturally flows.

I do NOT recommended this place. I went here with a groupon, but I ended up not saving any money because I had to go to another salon to get my hair«fixed.» I had an oriental woman who was very nice, but she did the exact opposite of what I asked her to do. The salon was very dirty, and the owner gossiped on the phone the whole time I was there. I left very disappointed. Don’t waste your money or time.

I needed to get my nails done for my new year party and decided to try this place with a groupon. I was never welcomed into the salon. maybe because i came with a groupon. They have a poor selection of nail colors and the groupon service they offer is a very basic one although they claim its actually worth $ 67. The owner was in the salon and never greeted and never spoke to her customers. Sam and Vernonica who actually do nails were really friendly. Veronica actually did my nails and the within two days the nail polish started to come off. A top coat was never applied on my toes and polish on my fingers had to be reapplied atleast 5 times while on the salon. I felt they wanted me out of the salon quickly and they did not even acknowledge my exit out of the salon. I just picked my bag and jacket and left and not a word from anyone. THEWORSTPARTOFTHEWHOLEEXPERIENCE They charged me $ 2.20 as something called ‘GROUPONTAX’ which i thought was very ridiculous. I paid them anywa but the point is that I have purchased hundreds of groupon deals before and never that to pay a ‘groupon tax’ at any of the merchants. Unilocal users: Please do not step into this place and waste your hard earned money. I am sure there are other nails bars in and around the area which will do a much better job. I even sent the same complaint to GROUPON. GROUPON needs to verify the deals before marketing such places. If not it could really hurt their credibility.

Service was friendly and overall the cost is low. Definitely could be cleaner and updated. Overall it was OK, not great but not awful, just meh.
