Ahi Tuna appetizer on greens with wasabi vinaigrette. Seriously? I now crave this! A large amount of TUNA seared with a sesame seed crust! BY FAR the best tuna and best value in all of Cincinnati at only 12.00 !!! I am sold!

I don’t get why this place is so popular, the is the equivalent of s greasy dinner, service is adequate, and décor is dated. The sticky floor adds to that greasy spoon dive. I had the beer batter cod fish sandwich which was mostly fried breading and over cooked sweet potato fries…

Went on a friday, had to wait about 45 minutes for a table for two, I expected a wait, no big deal.
Shared the fried calamari which was delicious. We both had the Cajun grilled grouper sandwich on marbled rye bread with a side of fries. Everything was really good, especially the fries. Next time, we won’t go on a weekend night to hopefully avoid the crowds.

Good snow crab legs! Nice atmosphere, more of a «locals» place. Friendly bar folks. I’ve been here about 10 times. Has never disappointed. Not crazy about the lobster bisque, but everything else has been quite good.

We tried the gumbo, onion rings, shrimp Alfredo, cod basket, coconut shrimp, and the Cajun grouper sandwich. Everything was a tad salty and overcooked. Breading on everything was heavy.
Atmosphere on a Saturday night is loud and cramped with over eighty people packed into the small bar dining area.
Service was well above average and if it weren’t for the good service we would not give this place another try.
Overall, good enough that we will come back and try it again.

We try to go weekly! I have had hundreds of meals at Pelican’s and I have to say I have never been disappointed. They have a great menu and the specials are awesome! One of my favorites that they have everyday is the Caesar Salad! My favorite special is the Seafood, shrimp and lobster, Mac and Cheese.
The staff is top notch and really know how to take care of the customer!

Food was fantastic! My wife had the Asian tuna wrap special and I had the cod basket. Both were simple (I don’t think that there is too much here that would be fancy or chic) but very good. Our food was piping hot with great flavor. Our sever was friendly and service was quick. The menu is pretty good size. This place would be good for families or an easy night out with the significant other. We will definitely be back!

Went here on a Tuesday night while our daughter was at rehearsal. Received a table instantly, service was quick. Wine and beer selection and pricing was great, menu was a bit overwhelming. We started with the lobster fritters… Mostly just $ 11 hush puppies… Couldn’t really find much lobster, but we’ll just get something different next time. I had the seafood stew; it was great! I will order it again. Mahi tacos were okay, we will probably get a sandwich instead next time… We were eyeballing other tables food. Overall, was busy, service was great, and food was decent. We will be back.

The absolute best fried seafood I’ve ever had. The biggest problem I face when coming here is deciding what to order. I’m working my way through the menu and haven’t found anything I don’t really care for. The lobster fritters, fried clam strips, fried shrimp, calamari, New England clam chowder, crab legs; all amazing! I’m a huge fan of the fries. I can’t really put my finger on what makes them so amazing, but they are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I’m always too full for dessert, so I can’t speak as to what is good.
The downside is that they aren’t open on Sundays. I would really love to sit in the bar area, watch football, and gorge myself on fried food.

This place is a hidden gem. Definitely the best lobster bisque in town. The wasabi tuna wrap is delicious! I think it’s only available as a dinner special every once in awhile. I wish they would put it on the normal menu!

Food was awesome Mahi and beer battered cod very good. Sweet potato fries came out burnt. Waitress was on it and fix it quickly. New batch was good. Noise level high good place for groups

Very good seafood at reasonable prices. The only thing that keeps it from being 5-​stars is that the menu isn’t anything close to inspired. Pick a fish, pick a preparation, pick two sides. That’s 90% of the menu. Occasionally there is a special that resembles what I would say involves a recipe, but the servers are often unaware of the details (and the specials are written on a blackboard that is visible to about 30% of the restaurant and the glare from the lights narrows this down to about 15% visibility). If you want fried/​grilled/​blackened/​sandwiched (insert seafood) with two sides, this is your place. If you’re looking for a place with a chef-​designed menu involving creative use of sauces and seasonings… not so much. Still, something to be said for a place that keeps it simple and does it right. Decent beer selection too.

We have been to this place with and without kids. I would not recommend a high top table if you need a booster. While the booster does fit in the chair, it is not that steady and quite a high drop if the child falls. The seafood is always and has been delicious. I do not recommend getting the grilled asparagus as it tasted like they put it on a grill and dumped lighter fluid on it. I was quite disappointed with this since I love a good grilled asparagus.
Their menu is quite varied with fresh seafood choices. Sweet potato fries are great. The prices are decent considering the high quality of the fish.

Took the wife out tonight to celebrate a romantic evening (no kids). We stopped by and had some amazing seafood and great drinks. and some homemade peanut butter pie (so delicious). This is most likely the best seafood to be had in Cincy

If you are looking for tasty fried seafood, this place has it. We got a sampling and I enjoyed all of it. The coconut shrimp were flavorful and served with an awesome sauce. The cod was perfectly crispy. The clam strips were huge. Lobster hushpuppies were tasty. Calamari was good. Especially with the sweet chili sauce. Raw oysters week good. The fries and the cole slaw were great sides. The Key Lime pie was too sweet for me. Prices were very reasonable. Overall a good find.

I ordered carry out after a long day at work. The person on the line was very patient and extremely helpful in making suggestions as I did not have their menu on hand, but loved the restaurant. I wanted to tell the manager about my great experience and to my surprise, it was the owner Patty who took my order. She wouldn’t even accept my tip for superb service. I highly recommend this restaurant. Fresh, great tasting food and service to match!

Went there for lunch, my friend swears it’s the best deal on seafood in town. The restaurant has good flavor with a pretty extensive menu. There are sandwiches, pasta, pain seafood, etc…
I order clam chowder, satisfying, with a salmon steak sandwich. The piece of fish was huge, a little overwhelming, but it was a good cut. Walked away satisfied with the environment and the promising menu.

Great food both times I have been in so far. I have tried the crab cakes (perfect both times), shrimp tacos (delicious), and coconut shrimp and fries (also delicious). Can’t wait for my next visit to try something new!

I ate here for the first time, for dinner on a Tuesday night. I was in a large group, but we had great food and good service. The waitress did a great job of keeping our drinks filled and bringing our food.
Everyone in my group seemed to like the food. I had the Mesquite grilled grouper sandwich, and the fish was so good — I only wish the piece had been larger. The cole slaw that I got as a side was the BEST that I’ve even eaten at a restaurant — again I wish I’d had more, although they gave a generous portion. My friend who loves fried oysters said they were tied with the best ones she’s ever had, and she goes to Florida a lot. Another friend got the crab cakes, which were round balls deep fried and looked more like large hush puppies.
We arrived at 5:30pm and had a reservation, and it’s a good thing because they got busy! There is lots of parking in the lot behind the building, and an interior staircase down to the front entrance.
