Darren & Co Salon, Inc

I went to Darren & Co recently for a haircut and blonde balayage. At first, I absolutely loved the balayage. She curled my hair after in that way that I can NEVER do myself, and it looked awesome. However, the next day when I washed and dried my hair, I was really disappointed to find that the cut was extremely choppy! The layers were not blended at all and you could see all the scissor lines. I went back and she was happy to fix it and apologized, saying that she should have looked at it before she curled my hair the day before when I was there. She did blend all the layers and it looks much smoother now, but in fixing the cut she had to cut out a lot of the blondest ends. Now the balayage is definitely a lot less dramatic than I wanted it to be (which is disappointing because it is super expensive!), and I probably won’t go back to Darren & Co in the future. I gave 3 stars because the cut did end up looking okay.

Darren is absolutely the best hair styler ever. Any hair any problem any color & any cut. You will leave knowing that you are beautiful! Thank you for always putting a smile on my face!

I have to admit, i have been lax about where I get my haircut the last few years due to health issues and being out of town, but boy have i missed Darren’s haircuts! It’s funny, some woman told me a few months ago she would give me the best haircut i’d ever have, and i can say that was far from the truth. (BTW, i have had my hair cut by a stylist at a spa at the top of the Spanish steps in Rome, so that is a big presumption)! I can say I came back to Darren a few months ago (i live 40 min away) and i walked out of his salon saying, «now THIS is a great and professionally done cut. I’m back, Darren! Thanks for knowing what the hell your doing!

I always love my look thanks to Darren & Co. Erin is the best. I recommend and refer friends all the time. They are always accommodating to my schedule. It’s not just for the girls, they have a barber shop too.
