I was cautious venturing to this place due to previous reviews, but i have to say my experience and nails were fantastic. Kim was very nice and did an excellent job. The place was clean(albeit fairly empty). Prices are reasonable. No complaints. Their selection of gel polish was limited, but other than that, I was happy and will be back.

I have been holding off on reviewing until after my second visit(I bought a groupon for three shellac manis) and though my first one was fantastic(Raquel did fantastic work) it did take almost a half hour past my appointment time to get started. The salon is big and airy and from what I could tell clean. The wax dip was kind of a waste(and both times there was a stray nail clipping IN the wax that stuck to my hand… ew) but the manicure itself was beautiful and lasted nearly two weeks. My second trip was not as great and my third was just okay. Unfortunately I won’t be back as their wait times were just too long. Sad though. I did like the girls who did my nails but I can’t afford to sit for almost 30 – 45 minutes after my appointments to get them done. Maybe if there was a bigger staff I might come back, but until then I’ll just find somewhere closer to home.

I had a Groupon for a shellac manicure with paraffin dip and a pedicure. It was my first pedi of the season, so man, did I need it! I made an appointment for a Friday evening about a week in advance to ensure I could get in before toe-baring weather came in full force. On Thursday afternoon, they called to tell me that the woman who was supposed to do my services would not be coming in on Friday. The woman on the phone gave me two options that would get me in before my weekend activities — earlier on Friday(no-go because I was pushing to get there on time already) or Saturday morning. I chose Saturday morning, the first appointment. There was not an apology about me having to reschedule. When I got there, my first impression of the salon was fine. Hardwood floors and tile gave a nice, airy clean feeling. Pedicure took a while because she had to get up to answer the phone multiple times(she was the only one there). My pedicure looks good, but I still have dry skin on my heels, which I hate. That’s the main reason I get pedicures. After the pedi, we moved to the manicure room. Disgusting. It smelled like dirty feet. The carpet was dirty, there were empty McDonald’s coffee cups everywhere that had been sitting for days. The manicure itself was not bad. I got gel polish(all they had, even though the Groupon said shellac — there is a difference). So far, so good, but it’s only been 5 days. Then, came the paraffin dip. UGH. The wax is where the smell was coming from, behind its perfume-y scent. There was a clump of unmelted wax floating in the pool, among other more questionable«floaters.» The wax wasn’t deep enough to cover my hand unless i turned it over to coat the back. Every time I have gotten a paraffin dip, there is a plastic bag put over your hands and then you put on the heated«oven mitts.» Not here. I sat in a chair with the wax coating my hands. That’s it. No bag, no oven mitts. Meanwhile, she gossiped with the other woman in the room and at one point, I was convinced that she forgot I still had the wax on. After she peeled it off, I really just wanted to wash my hands. Won’t go back. The mani/pedi both look nice, but it’s not worth the filth.

Used a groupon here last year for a mani/pedi. They were not very welcoming and the«technician» wasn’t very professional. She didn’t do a very good job on my nails and I won’t go back.

I paid for one shellac groupon and went to this place. The girl who assisted me was very nice, but instead of cutting my cuticles(like every other manicure i’ve had in my life) she just shoved them down with a tool. This was extremely painful and after I winced several times, she asked if it hurt. When I said it did, she was pretty unapologetic and continued the service. Once the painting was completed, I was supposed to get a paraffin hand dip– however they had no more bags, but I could«come back» to get one. When my technician told the manager this, she did not apologize or even really make eye contact with me. To put it quite simply when I got home, I realized I could have done the exact same job. I will not be returning.

My daugher had her bachelorette party here… or at least started the evening out here, so her mother-in-law, aunt and I were also invited for this part. We were satisfied with the service we received. They were very accomodating of our large group(13 people) and had enough staff for all 13 manicures, 5 pedicures, and 3 massages. We were there for three hours before the limo picked the girls up to go to downtown Cincinnati for dinner and since the salon closed at 5 we were able to have appetizers and drinks brought in for the party. They set up a table and were easy to work with and very pleasant.
