Do not go here if you need help remodeling your home! They came out and measured windows but never gave a price. They said we’ll email it to you. They never did. I decided to try again a couple years later and still they came out wandered around my home and never gave me a price. Tom is their project specialist who came out both times and he showed up late and never gave me pricing but said he would email it to me. Never happened. Guess they don’t want my business!

Service at this location is typically pretty good. I have had various projects over the last year and I shop at this location a lot. The last project I completed was a dishwasher installation. The kitchen never had one so everything needed installed ie: drain, drain hose, water supply etc. I believe the employee in plumbing that helped me was named Al. He was very knowledgable and without missing anything I had everything I needed to do the install in my cart in 10 minutes. He even gave me pointers on how to install certain pieces. The only complaint I’ve had in the past would probably have to be their tile. Although we got a great deal on some tile, the contractors Lowes sent out to install them didn’t do a very good job. The tiles look straight but the edges feel pretty uneven when your walking barefoot. They also missed a few spots with where grout should have been.

It’s a Lowe’s. There wasn’t anything that was amazing or anything terrible. It was an average store. At the time I went there were some good deals on plants and planters. Only one of the employees that I passed greeted me, or asked if I needed any help. At one point it was their policy that employees ask ALL people they pass it they need help. Maybe that policy has changed.

As others have stated this is a bigger than typical Lowes, there is an employee that is a greeter as soon as one enters the store and also hands out the weekly ad. Every employee I have asked a question or come into contact with has been more than helpful. The workers in the garden center are more than helpful to load the car with mulch or soil or what have you.

Ok I know it is a big chain store but I have never had a problem here. The staff is friendly and will always help you find what you need. They normally have good sales a things as well. So I will a lot of times get a few extra things that i just need around the house.

Again typical Lowe’s. Although this one seems a little bigger than most. There seems to be plenty of staff up front, not so much else where in the store. It took a bit to get some help with the paint I was needing. I also guess I wasn’t specific enough, and she didn’t ask me what it was I wanted other than the standard color and finish. No primer no nothing. So not the friendliest. Thy guy in the ladder department was super helpful and actually told me not to get the more expensive one i was looking at, as it wasn’t as good as the cheaper one I did get. The cashier was also helpful in the self-checkout, as that was all they had open and helped me pay with 3 different forms of payment.(Hey I had gift cards to use!) So it all kind of rounds out pretty even.

Yesterday I unhappily did a tour of about 4 of our cities big box hardware stores. Ugh! Not the way I wanted to spend my Saturday! However this gives me some good Unilocal!Review fodder. So here’s the worst of the stores I visited. As I did this tour of duty I was less than impressed by all of the stores. Well actually, I was less than impressed by the employees of the stores. All the stores were clean, well organized, and priced just about the same. But for me, a novice when it comes to home improvement, the employees are what makes or breaks the store. I’m looking for a store that employees knowledgeable staff which can solve my problem quickly and with the least amount of pain. Lowe’s was just about the worst. I had hunt down some one to help me. The first employee just said he knew nothing about plumbing and he’d call for help, but told me to go look for so-and-so because he was the expert. Ummm okay. No thanks. Eventually Mr. so-and-so meandered around the corner. We spent 45 minutes trying to find the 1PVC pipe connector I needed. What I needed must have been out of stock or something because by the end of the«expert» helping me I had around 8″ of connectors and adapters(totaling about $ 7 instead of the $ 0.98 piece I needed). Oh and while helping me the guy took 2 other phone calls! Eventually I just walked out insanely frustrated with the whole experience. If you don’t have what I need, tell me. Don’t waste my time.
