I have been a frequent shopper at DSW. I bought Steve Madden sandals from DSW a year ago. Although they have not been worn on many occasions, the strap on both shoes broke, roughly 6 months apart from each other. I informed both Steve Madden and DSW, hoping to get some reimbursement for my shoe repairs. Both customer service representatives responded with no help. They have both lost my loyalty.
