LongHorn Steakhouse

Knowing Longhorn Colerain would be busy, my wife called ahead to get us a table. We get there and the host doesn’t even greet her, just says «hour and a half…» We let him know we called ahead and then it became «45 minutes.» Unfortunately we decided to stick around and it only got worse. In the waiting area, we moved through a crowd of people and found a couple seats at the bar where we weren’t offered drinks until after sitting there for 15+ minutes. Even if we had wanted a drink the bartender didn’t wait around long enough to hear a response. While we’re there we noticed a couple people complaining about their food. I stepped away to use the restroom and the floor in front of the urinals was completely covered in urine and the trash can was filled to the brim, with trash spilling on the floor. Maybe the paper towels on the floor can dry up the urine. I get back to the bar area where they’re serving a to-​go order to someone who doesn’t have shoes on. At about 45 minutes into our wait (which is how long we were told it would take) we were told it would be an additional 10 – 15 minutes. Many would have left before that but that was all we could take. We were done with this awful establishment. If I didn’t have to give one star, I wouldn’t. My recommendation would be to not waste your time or your money.

My steak the type I ordered. Wasn’t over or undercooked, which is quite rare in case. Food was good and servers were polite.

Food was decent but service was very poor. While waiting to be seated I listened to the two hosts grumble that they were about to go through another shift. Was seated 10 minutes before anyone came over and the restaurant was not busy. One server took the drink order and then 3 minutes later brought back incorrect drinks. I corrected the order and she said she would be right back. Five minutes later a new server came over and said she was now going to be taking care of me and that she would get to the drinks quickly. Only ordered soup and salad at this point and it took a while. Had to ask her 3 times to refill the water. Never asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu or if everything was okay. It was overall a very poor experience.

Longhorn’s «Porterhouse for 2» never disappoints. Service always great and friendly. .they ask how your steak is and if not to your taste they will replace. Had a great dinner with friends tonite… glasses always refilled. .we always go back… This is our go to steak place.

Food was delivered promptly. Great service, and special attention to our birthday guest. Very nice experience!

I ordered a medium well steak burger and it came out completely done with a black crust on the bottom. Not sure why they would serve this if the customer ordered it medium well. The eight dollar white sangria I ordered tasted like it didn’t have a bit of alcohol in it at all. Not impressed.

This place has exceptional service. My husband and I went for Valentine’s day and we were more than pleased with this experience.
We ordered the porterhouse meal for two, which was made perfectly. Having them make the steak sauce right at the table was also fun and the sauce was amazing!

Went to this location tonight. Though the wait was excessive, the food was amazing and fast. Deserts are out of this world and are very large. I suggest the Flo’s filet. When you go there ask for Liz. She’s a fantastic server!

Dinner was average. Ordered no onions on the salad… plenty of onions served. Ordered everything for potatoes on the side… it came loaded. Asked for BBQ on the side… again smothered… unbelievable. Service was average other than the prostate blunders.

I enjoyed my visit to the Longhorn restaurant Northgate my wait time was 20 mins our waitress was fast and very tentative. Husband ordered a sirloin steak that he enjoyed he said the size and cut was great, my grilled chix salad full of dark green romaine and spring mix salad with fruit was good. I was impressed I will visit again. Oh before I forget they have great appetizers and nice cocktails.

This is my first time at this location. Went on a Sunday night because Friday and Saturday can be a long wait. I got the sirloin with shrimp. Overall it was good they add a bit to much spice for my taste and it makes it seem a bit salty. The house salad is average. My husband gets the salmon that he said was good next time he will ask for a little lemon butter. The rice pilaf is non spicy and that is a good thing for my 4 year old daughter I was a bit to full to try the pumpkin lava cake I saw on the menu that looks wonderful. Maybe I will get back before is is gone.

Wife and I had a night out finally. Our server was great. Ordered the grilled watermelon salad. And it looked great. Taste? Omg. The watermelon was sour and tasted spoiled. Our server brought another salad and it tasted the same. The manager never came to our table to address the problem. When the check arrived the salad was still on the bill. Our server even asked if the manager had came to see us. No excuses for the spoiled food or lack of a response.

I had a really good lunch today. Started off with the chip and dip appetizer and that was tasty. I liked their lunch combo. I had the black and bleu burger and French onion soup. It was a good amount of food. And it was less than 12 a person for a sit down meal with an appetizer. I would come back and eat lunch here.
