I stayed here for a wedding this past weekend. The entrance and lobby area are very nice and well-maintained. The staff in the ballroom for the reception were professional, nice, and efficient in clearing away plates and glasses when empty. The bartenders were also efficient and very friendly. My 2 star rating, then, is regarding the room. When you see a no-smoking sign on the door, you don’t expect to walk into a room smelling like smoke. The bed was semi-comfortable, but the furniture is terribly outdated. The bathroom door had multiple scratches and scuff marks all over it. All in all, this place hits all the required marks for service, but it’s in desperate need of an update. I’d strongly recommend the events center, but I wouldn’t recommend the hotel itself.

First impressions mean a lot. The shower had hair covering the drain and stands on the shower walls, how do you not clean the shower thoroughly? The linens aren’t as new and nice as most holiday Inn expresses I stay at. You can tell they’ve been washed a million times, thin and ratty. The tv is new but kind of small compared to some other hotels. I stay out of town a lot so that may make me more critical but you expect a holiday inn to bed a step above the holiday inn express. The breakfast was awesome, you have to pay but I got a free voucher with hotel points. Great buffet and made to order omelets, pancakes and waffles. The lobby and restaurant are pretty nice. If they work on the cleanliness and replace the linens I’d give it four stars.

I stayed here for a work trip and I had nothing but good experiences. I stayed in a one-bedroom suite, and was really impressed with the fact it had 2 bathrooms with full tubs/showers! I thought that was pretty cool. They have a nice indoor pool and exercise room. I thought the bed was great, and they will switch out pillows if you need them to, from soft to firm or vice versa, you just call the front desk. There is a restaurant, McKenna’s in the hotel. Lounge is decent, had a few drinks one night. Bartender was really nice. They have breakfast in the morning; you can do the buffet or get an omelette or waffle made for you. It’s really quite a spread, especially for breakfast. I would definitely go back, it’s a really nice place and pretty central to lots of shopping and restaurants. /Awesome!

I had made my reservation ahead of time for a regular NON-SMOKING room. Once my husband and I arrived, we were given a smoking room. He went to the front desk and they ended up bumping us up to a much bigger suite and giving us tickets for free breakfast. I was impressed that they righted the situation immediately and made sure we left happy.

We booked a 1 bedroom suite while in town for the Motley Crue/Alice Cooper show at Riverbend. The décor in the room was a little outdated but overall it was a pleasant experience at the Holiday Inn. The King size bed was PERFECT and my girl enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. When we got in we had trouble with the TV not working properly so we called the front desk and they sent up the Assistant GM to fix it. No big deal whatsoever. He peeled off 3 free breakfast coupons for us, which was a nice touch and took off. I really appreciated the service we got. Everyone was attentive, friendly and fast. $ 176 is a little pricey but the free breakfast vouchers helped out.

I’ve been to this place for a wedding reception and a couple work functions… it’s great for that. The main lobby of the place is gorgeous. Fountains and such. I have never been in their rooms. So, I have no idea about the overnight stay factor. But, if you’re looking for a place to hold a business function or dance and eat after a wedding this might be your place!

It’s your typical, run-of-the-mill Holiday Inn. It’s clean, nice, nothing fancy, but accomodating.

Hotel was hosting a dog show. We were not warned of this when we booked our rooms, and there was no section where the dogs were staying. The dogs were all over EVERY floor, barking and howling ALLNIGHT. They should have all been booked together in one section of the hotel, not mixed in with guests who might actually want to sleep at a hotel. I won’t be back.

First stay in Cincinnati and this hotel fit the bill for location and budget. I was at a Holiday Express in Lexington the previous night and this is basically a bigger version. Surprised the rooms don’t have micro fridges and that the bathrooms fog up due to no ventilation switch. Otherwise it works out fine. Located near Eastgate mall which is always a plus in terms of convenience.

I may be from Cincinnati, but sometimes I want a break from my house… or my parents do. One of the two. Anyway, we stayed here one night, booked a 1 bedroom suite. We checked in, they say here’s your key, and we walk up to your room. Hey… there’s one bed… and no kitchen… and…well that’s it. This is NOT what I paid for. The receptionists didn’t quite understand how we had a conformation email stating we paid for a 1 bedroom suite and they put us in a regular king. However, they did their best to fix the problem and put us into our booked room as soon as possible. Once that fiasco was over, it was pretty much what you expect from a Holiday Inn. I will point out that room service cinnamon rolls are YUMMY! The hotel was also within walking distance of Eastgate Mall, a major plus for this shopaholic.
