We had a four-night stay over the Christmas holidays to visit family. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to help. Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to a king bed suite and were very pleased with the cleanliness and layout of the room. The bed and pillows were comfy, and it was possible to open the large screened window just enough to let in cool, crisp air for a great night’s sleep. Each room has a microwave and an empty refrigerator, which was large enough to accommodate a decent amount of fruits, veggies, cheese and beverages, which we obtained from the nearby Kroger’s. The hotel is situated right off of the Eastgate Mall, and there are many nearby options for casual dining. The only very minor criticism we had is with the fitted sheet, which didn’t have pockets quite deep enough to stop from coming loose during the night. I would recommend this well-kept, clean, friendly, non-smoking property to anyone who needs a comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay in the Eastgate area.

Un accueil chaleureux et staff extrèmement sympathique. Je suis arrivée en pleine nuit et j’ai été agréablement surprise par l’accueil si chaleureux. De l’eau agrémenté d’oranges ou de citrons est disponible à l’accueil et même les cookies sont offerts. La nuit est à moins de 100 $, le Wifi et le parking sont gratuit. Plus surprenant le petit déjeuner… Un buffet assez varié, des fruits, des céréales, des œufs durs ou brouillés, des pancakes et tout cela gratuit. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et agréable. La salle de fitness petite mais avec tous le matériel nécessaire à un bon work out. Endroit bien situé, proche autoroutes Je né regrette absolument pas d’avoir choisi cet hôtel et le recommande;

This place was a nice hotel. service was great. They had water and cookies nice clean rooms and staff was always super nice even if you were just walking by. The only issue we had is HBO channel didn’t work but it wasn’t a big deal. Would recommend staying here

The building is ok and is mantained well. The work out room left a lot to be desired but they had a deal where guests can go to a local gym during their stay. My issue with the hotel was the absolutely horrible and constant sound of construction outside the hotel at all hours. Hopefully this is a limited time thing because I couldn’t sleep at all. The walls were thin too so I could hear the other guests struggling to fall asleep or whatever it is they were doing at 1:00am as well. The staff was not excruciatingly friendly or helpful but they weren’t awful either. Breakfast was good and they had a few decent options including biscuits and gravy. This location is hard to access but is close to the mall so if I were looking to stay near the mall it would make sense but I will probably not stay here again as that’s not my primary location of interest.

We stayed here recently while in town for a concert at nearby Riverbend Music Center. The location was perfect for that purpose — just a few highway exits up from the concert. The check-in was fast and effiicient, we were given a handicap room on the 1st floor. We didn’t request this, but not a big deal, other than the strange shower setup that caused a big mess of water in the bathroom. Some of the handtowels were looking rather threadbare, but others were just fine. Fairfield has the worst toiletries of any hotel chain I frequent — Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner, no lotion, no body wash. The room itself was just«OK» — squishy mattress and the A/C unit didn’t work very well so we were either too hot or too cold all night(and the paper thin blanket didn’t help) The hot breakfast had many more options than the last Fairfield I visited, but overall left a lot to be desired. The hostess was doing her best to keep up, though. I first grabbed some biscuits and gravy and some scrambled eggs. Everything was cold and the microwave had a long line. I hated to throw out food, but just couldn’t eat cold, gelatinous gravy on hard, dry biscuits. For the price we paid(less than $ 100) I can’t complain too much, but this stay just reinforced my low opinion of the Fairfield chain and reinforced my loyalty to Holiday Inn Express for trips like this!
