great customer service. my oldest daughter got her first hot fudge cake. great family time.

I have no complaints about the food but the service could have been better. Our waitress was a older woman and I got the impression she was new to this. Slow to refill drinks and at the end told us thanks for coming and have a great day. Dont know where she went. So we waited. waited…waited for the CHECK! I give it 2 stars for service.

Wow, where do I start! The Frisch’s on E. Main St. Springfield, OH is terrible! Their customer service is non-​existent and the salad bar was terrible. I took pictures and requested that the bar be taken off of our bill and the manager refused. So I wrote down his name and called corporate, and it took 3 days to return my call. They didn’t even want to hear my complaint because they had already spoken to the manager that I had dealt with. I told them I had pictures of the salad bar and how bad it was and they did’nt even want to see the pictures. I will never eat at any Frisch’s again since if you have a problem, you’re on your own.
When I have spoken to some friends about this, I found out one of them had gotten food poisoning from the mac n cheese. They knew it was the mac n cheese because when they called the store to see if there had been any other problems, the manager asked «did you have the macaroni and cheese?». My friend said yes, and the manager told him it should pass we threw the rest of it out after a couple of other people complained. Thah seemed to be the only thing everyone that got sick had. Can you believe this! Never again!

I was a waitress at Frisch’s all through college. I worked at three different ones, each one for a summer. Even after all the time that I spent serving the hungry hoards, I still love Frisch’s food!
Here is a secret tip that only a waitress can tell you. The spicy spuds, which can be found on the breakfast bar, can be ordered any time of day! If you order them with dinner, they will cook them to order and so they will come out piping hot and fresh. They are by far the best thing on the menu. Make sure to order extra tartar sauce to dip them in.
Can’t handle the size of the Big Boy, but want the taste of a Big Boy– order the small cheeseburger. It is the burger that comes with the kids meal. Prepared exactly the same as the Big Boy but half the size.
Another secret from a former waitress. The eggs on the breakfast bar are real eggs– not from a powder. They come uncooked in a huge bag. They are cooked in an oven and then mashed up to «scramble» them. I am always impressed at the quality of the breakfast bar. The food is fresh and hot. There is actually someone whose entire job it is is to prep and restock the bar.
I would go to Frisch’s incredibly regularly, if only my husband liked it as much as I do.

Three stars. Afterall, it is «Frisch’s.» The buffet was well stocked, but the food was luke-​warm. And the pancakes were rubbery.
Service was good, and we didn’t wait all that long to be seated. At Frisch’s it is what it is, and not much more.
