My friend took me to this little place and it’s a bit different than your typical creamy whip, at least from my personal experience. I am a fan of the dipped cones, and Don’s doesn’t disappoint with their variety of dip flavors! Bubble gum? Blueberry, Cherry, Chocolate? YESPLEASE! I wonder if I can have my cone dipped in all of the flavors at once? Hmmm… Any who I’m getting off on a tangent, and fueling my own delirious dipping fantasy and this review should also be for YOU the reader… so uh yeah. Let me get back on track. They serve a delicious soft serve, and even have some of the yummiest French fries I’ve had in awhile. The prices are good, and they have a few tables so you can enjoy your treat on the spot. They only take cash, and if you order a dip cone or sprinkly cone, it WILL drip everywhere, most likely causing an ant Apocalypse from the river it forms below your table. You may want to get a bowl to put said weapon of ant mass destruction in. The bowl comes with a spoon, but it’ll cost ya .50. It’s a bit hidden, so plug it into your GPS, and go find it if you’re craving some dairy deliciousness.

This is a really fun family-friendly place for ice cream. All the seating is outdoors, so only go when it’s warm and sunny! There aren’t all that many options but what they have is tasty and reasonably priced!

Love getting a zebra dunked in cherry coating. Used to be the group hang out after our swim meets(in which we kicked ass… Go Eagles…4 time winners back-to-back!). Usually if I have to do errands or return something to the library, or are in Reading for some reason, during the summer and spring only(due to the fact they’re closed in the fall and winter), i have to stop at this place!

Came here a few weeks ago after dinner for a cherry dip top. Drove right past the place, but then circled back around and glad that I did. The prices were very reasonable as my cherry dip top was 2.25 and very good. The girls working were nice. Don’s creamy whip is a 15 min drive for me, but I would and will make it again. They only accept cash.

A little hard to find at first. Thought it was actually on Reading Rd, but just a bit off Reading on a side street slightly hidden. Glad we found it! Nice new seating tables, some with umbrellas. Very good soft serve and high quality toppings. I had a zebra(chocolate/banana) yogurt strawberry sundae and it was very good(like a banana split which was what i wad going for) and the prices were reasonable. Worth the 15 min drive IMHO. Will visit again!

Apparently a known Evendale hotspot for cold treats. My roommates family lives up here, and they treated to a round of frozen snacks. The specialty seems to be soft-serve(which tastes very good for soft-serve) that is inverted and dipped in chocolate or peanut butter sauce to encase it in a hardened shell of candied delight. I also had a strawberry malt. They were extremely generous with the malt powder, which was a bit grainy(perhaps not fully Creamy Whipped?) but it had real strawberry chunks, which can be a rarity these days in the ice cream joint industry. No frills, quick and tasty soft-serve based ice creamery. And locally owned.
