My 3 year-old daughter just started ballet this winter. Let me tell you, it isn’t easy to run out and find teeny tiny leotards and ballet slippers and I had no clue where to look. I happened to come across Diana’s(thank you, Google) and I’m so glad I did. Both Diana and the other employee who was working the day I went in were SO kind and helpful. They literally knew exactly what my daughter needed to wear, just based on me telling them which of the local dance theater she attends. When I brought her in to be fitted for ballet slippers, they got down on her level and talked to her about taking care of her shoes; they made her even more excited(as if that was possible) to start dancing. I can’t say enough good things about them and plan on giving them my business from now on. Just a word of warning, they have kind of wonky hours so check before you head out there.

«I need a nude top for a costume.» After some Googling, I found Diana’s; a dancewear shop on the edge of Blue Ash and Sycamore Township. Located in a drab concrete building, the outside of Diana’s reminded me more of an animal shelter than a clothing shop. Once inside, I was delighted to find rows of colorful costumes and a friendly staff. The flesh colored rack caught my eye immediately, and I easily located the style and size I needed. Diana’s offers anything and everything for dancers young and old: leotards, tights, tutus, ballet shoes, tap shoes, theatre shoes. Everything. It was like walking into the backroom of a performing arts studio. They even have a rack labeled«praisewear» which I assume is for choir outfits. Prices here are very reasonable too. My nude top only cost $ 20.00 and was made out of high quality shapewear material. Most other items ranged between $ 10.00 and $ 35.00. Diana’s was pretty busy when I stopped by midday; bustling with everyone from teenagers repairing ballet slippers to children trying on dance clothes, to adults shopping for a community theatre performance. The shop does keep odd hours though, like being closed the first Thursday of the month. In and out quickly with what I need at a reasonable price. Diana’s danced its way into my heart.
