This is indeed like Chipotle, but with more variety and options. The food is fresh, and fast. I like that you can get traditional burrito stuff, but you can also try other options like the Tikka. This is an excellent fast casual option. It tastes pretty healthy(who knows if it is really healthy…) Great for takeout as well!

Currito is one of my favorite«fast food» restaurants, and I like this location the most. Service is quick and friendly(and super nice), parking usually isn’t an issue, and the employees are mindful about putting«light» ingredients when asked. I love Currito’s different and interesting ingredients and sauces(see: cucumbers, hummus, teriyaki, tikka, chickpeas, kale, and quinoa — not together, of course), and I especially love that there are small [wheat] burrito options. Currito is often a healthy meal choice that is also delicious. The interior of this location also has a ton of seating and TVs, in case you don’t want to miss how great the Reds are this season.

An excellent twist to the casual, burrito dining experience. Currito offers a variety of options on their menu to liven up your burrito that few other places around do. Available on a tortilla or in a bowl, you can choose from such styles as Bangkok, Buffalo, Mediterranean, and Teriyaki. Each provides it’s own unique flavor and is made with fresh ingredients. Also available on the menu are smoothies, salads, and even a breakfast menu for the early risers. My family and I came here for lunch and we enjoyed our experience. The lunch service was a little slow but they were also dealing with a large office order in front of us. Currito is worth a visit if you are in the mood for a different kind of burrito.

This was my first time at Currito! The staff here(and manager) were super helpful and when I said it was my first visit they showed me all the available options. They offer unique burrito options so there is a fresh taste every day of the week. The food was great. I got the Tikka regular burrito. It was a fresh take on the lunch burrito genre. You can add a $ 2 smoothie to any lunch, which was a great deal. I’m allergic to mangoes and they accommodated easily.

If you have never been to Currito, it’s like a chipotle with more variety. They have more sauces(like a Thai sauce), veggies, and even salsas. They offer a smaller serving size and a regular size. I like the variety here. They have some set menu options which are generally a good option as well.

Found this place downtown and thrilled they are now in Hyde Park! Unlike Chipotle where no matter what you order it all tastes the same these«burritos» all taste amazing and very different from each other. Bangkok with Pulled Pork and Mediterranian with Steak are game changers. Great atmosphere for a quick meal– much better addition to the center than the über boring Smashburger which used to be in the same location! Food was very fresh and staff very friendly.

Currito is like Chipotle’s cooler younger brother. I’m SOOO pumped that there’s now a location near me that’s NOT on a college campus. It has all of the offerings of Chipotle if you’re really craving that sort of thing, but do yourself a favor and do not allow your experience with Chipotle close your mind to the endless possibilities that Currito’s offers you. They have all the traditional Mexican flavors but they also have some pretty amazing Asian flavors. They have a create your own option(which includes quinoa… for all you trend-seekers) but they also have these amazing creations that are no doubt the creative brain child of some Currito-employed genius. My favorite is the Bangkok Bowl(I like mine with chicken but you can choose your own protein and you can also choose to have it in a tortilla). It is a delicious combination of rice and chicken with a tasty Thai peanut sauce, fresh bok choy, cucumber, crunchy carrot and almond slivers, and topped off with an Asian dressing that just perfectly completes the concoction. Tip – go to and sign up for the rewards… if you have an iPhone you can add it to the wallet on your phone and pre-load money similar to Starbucks… it’s SUPER easy and I got an immediate $ 10 reward for preloading $ 10 onto it.

Great restaurant!!! If your a Chipotle fan you may want to consider switching your allegiance! More food options and better quality of ingredients than Chipotle(check out the mango salsa and the kale). Plus healthy shakes with natural ingredients that you can add whey protein for your after workout drink. Add in a clean environment with great customer service and you have a winner! Stop in and check it out. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

I’m a big fan of Currito, so you can imagine my sheer delight when I got the email announcing a location opened up right down the road from me. I stopped into this location for a quick lunch, and it was the most empty I’ve ever seen a Currito! I’m going to chalk that up to the fact I arrived 15 minutes after they opened, and the location itself hasn’t been around that long. I imagine this place is slammed at lunch time during the week though! I always ALWAYS stick to the Mediterranean burrito bowl. It’s just SO. GOOD. Then again, I’m a sucker for anything involving feta cheese or hummus. The location seems to be the perfect size, very clean, and friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back!

Happy to finally have Currito in Hydepoakleywood(Hyde Park, Oakley, Norwood) area right off Edwards. Currito was the first casual chain concept from the Thunderdome Restaurant group who also owns Bakersfield, The Eagle, Kruegers & Sohi. Since its a new location you can just walk in & order, no wait like another chain. The entire team is so friendly welcoming you, happy to help you with your order. I always pick build your own bowl so you can craft your own bowl, I love that they have fresh healthy ingredients — quinoa, kale, broccoli to name a few plus their mango salsa is the bomb! Everytime you go you can craft your own creation. Currito has a rewards program — sign up for it if you haven’t already, everytime you purchase you receive one point for each $ 1 you spend and they have promotions. Yesterday I received $ 2.50 off my order. I also loaded money via my credit card on the card & received $ 10 credit. So head to Currito now!

Hyde Park has plenty of fast casual options, but Currito stands above the rest in my opinion. I’ve always been a fan of Currito and used to make the trek over to Kenwood just to have it, but now it’s right in my backyard! This Currito is just as nice as the other ones, and the food is very consistent with other locations. You can order a small burrito, large burrito, or bowl for your meal. I prefer the small burrito because this is usually the perfect size for a lunch or lighter dinner. My favorites are the Mediterranean(hummus, brown rice, feta, cucumber, veggies, on a whole wheat tortilla) and the Tikka(cilantro lime rice, cucumber, curried chick peas, yogurt sauce, spicy tikka masala sauce), and I usually get them with chicken. My husband is obsessed with their Buffalo burrito, which tastes basically like buffalo wings(white rice, buffalo sauce, celery, blue cheese). Service in this location is very good, the food comes out super fast, and everything is delicious as usual. No complaints!

I have only been to Currito — any Currito — once, specifically this particular location that just opened in the same strip center occupied by Romeo’s Pizza and Penn Station. Very clean and sharp looking on the inside, with a lot more seating space than I expected; and before I even ordered, I was nearly certain I’d come to like the place a lot, for 2 reasons: 1) They have not only a full size burrito(like Chipotle) but also a smaller, less expensive version. I have been asking for a smaller option for years at Chipotle, but I am starting to get the feeling that they just aren’t listening to me :-) 2) Chicken Tikka Masala as a filling/protein option. Nuff said. Love that stuff. Now I must say I didn’t enjoy their tikka masala as much as I do at any local Indian restaurant, but I would have been very surprised if I had. It was still solidly good and I appreciated that it was available at this price point. This place is very close to my workplace and I am certain I will be back to try some of their other offerings soon, and add some more meat(no pun intended) to this review
