Comfort Inn 9011 fields ertel rd Mason Ok place, stayed monday was $ 55 and it was fine called to book for a tuesday night and they doubled the price of the room, the Indian fella on the front desk said management makes me do it. Even though I liked the hotel it did not sit right with me so I went to a different hotel.

Quite possibly the most soiled carpet I have ever seen. Air conditioning was so bad we could not sleep. Would never recommend for any stay ever. To this places credit the manager just personally called to apologize gotta give him credit for owning up

The hotel was booked for the Memorial Day weekend but we were still able to get a room. This place was great. The service was outstanding, the room clean, the parking was easy. Breakfast was good too. It’s very close to numerous restaurants and stores.

Only needed a room for a few days. The original one they checked me into had ants everywhere! Even on my bed. They were kind to switch my room, still a pretty shocking experience though.

Room was clean and comfortable for the price it was hard to beat. There was ample parking for larger vehicles and a good assortment of chain and local restaurants in walking distance. Didn’t use the pool or fitness facility. Nor did I stay around for breakfast. Overall I good stay.

Most comfortable beds ever. Great water pressure in the showers. Room was warm when we arrived on a freezing day. The complimentary breakfast actually has choices! Lots of them! Staff was friendly and we were sad to leave the place!

We booked a big block of rooms here. I mean, something like 15 rooms so and I was initially worried about how they were going to handle all of that. Usually, the more rooms, the more of a chance they mess something up. But they didn’t. Not a thing. Nada. Not bad! So with all the rooms secured without a hitch, we were close enough to walk to a nearby restaurant, grab a bite to eat, and then settle in for the night until we left for Kings Island. I won’t say that it was a luxurious night, but it was perfectly adequate for a short stay. There was a decent breakfast the next morning that was packed with people. It was mostly muffins, pancakes, cereal and the like but they also had some yogurt, sausage, and of course, hot coffee. If you’re heading to King’s Island the next day, its a quick and easy drive over which makes this a pretty good spot to stay!

Arriving at 4:20, and checking in, we made our way to the room. a LARGE black garbage bag had been left in the hallway — no one remotely nearby — it remained there til after 5pm. before continuing, I should note I got a phone call at 11am since the room was in my name, that the hotel was sold out and they wanted to make sure I was still coming. Before setting the luggage in the room, I checked the beds(due to the bedbug epidemic in the US — I am not taking chances, I check EVERY place I stay). This is where problems started. The mattresses were about 1″ from the wall. because of this, before I even lifted up the mattress to inspect, I see — on the box spring — crumbs and hair. I called this to the attention of the front desk of this SOLDOUTHOTEL … who suggest they’d put me in another room, and give this room to someone else who is checking in later. Inferring I was just complaining — that someone else would take it as-is. No. I liked the room number — it had a 13 in it. At that time — I just wanted them to know what I found. It may have been a fluke it was missed, after all… I expected more for $ 109 + tax When I went in to take a shower, I pulled the shower curtain closed and start the water, I look up — there’s a WETWASHCLOTH on the shower curtain rod! EW! BIO-HAZARD! I don’t know where that cloth has been!!! I certainly wasn’t touching it! Call THAT to the attention of the desk — and was reminded(in a snotty tone) «we OFFERED you another room!!»(in this SOLDOUTHOTEL!!) I told them I wanted to speak with the manager, and they said«ok» I gave them my cell phone number — and proceed to wait. … and wait. … no call. When I inquired again, I was informed the manager had left before 4pm. Lovely. When we returned from our outing, I noted as I closed the drapes that the light seemed to be casting a strange shadow on the pleats — upon closer inspection — I could clearly see it was DUST!!! A LOT — … of dust! Wow. Just wow. No sense in calling *that* to anyone’s attention — there is no management, clearly — at least none that acts on problems. I couldn’t, in good conscience move to another room — not when they said they’d just give this one to someone who was checking in later … it CLEARLY needed better cleaning, and the staff had already left for the day. As soon as I get the pictures from my friends, I will be posting them. travelers should know they need to check more than just the beds here.

What a wonderful hotel! We made the last minute choice to go to Cincinnati the night before our«day trip», so I hopped on and scored a room here for $ 41(tax included). Upon arrival, we requested a change from our booked double/double to a queen bed room(the queen online cost $ 13 more, so haha!), they accommodated us on a nearby first floor room. rooms were easy access, and for the price were in good condition, worn around the edges but still maintained. Uneventful night, no rowdy neighbors and was able to get some good sleep. Did I mention the $ 41 included our breakfast? A frugal continental of DIY waffles, thawed pre-made pastry and from-dispenser apple juice. But given the alternative of spending $ 12 for two at McD’s next door, I’ll take what was included in my measly $ 40. Checkout was friendly, and we were on our way. We’ll remember this place for all of our future trips to cincy, although I imagine the price probably goes up during king’s island season.
