We love staying at La Quinta with our dog and cat. Normally the rooms are quite nice considering they allow pets. Our room at this hotel was not very nice. Stains on the rug, and the shower curtain stunk up the whole room. I was afraid to walk on the floors barefoot. What else hadn’t been cleaned in forever? We got out of there as soon as we could and didn’t bother with the complimentary breakfast.

I was forced to stay here after my apartment flooded and they setup us here while repairs were being made. I will never willingly stay at a La Quinta ever again. This is one small step above homelessness. The elevator was broken and every floor in the building was sticky and visible residue. The breakfast featuring your choice of two cereals, hard-boiled eggs, or toast leaves much to be desired. There are only like 7 channels available on the TV. What is this, 1993? Save your time & money by avoiding La Quinta, sleeping in your car, and getting McDonald’s breakfast in the morning. You’ll be better off.

We have stayed plenty at La Quinta Hotels, this was by far the worst. Dated older hotels are ok with us, dirty is not! At first glance everything seemed ok, just a little older hotel that will eventually be in need of some updates but once we settled in, we realized just how dirty this place was. Simply changing the sheets it not enough people. Carpets were soaking wet around the sink area, towels had hairs on them, bathroom had hair(head and pubic) all over it, toilet seat had splatter marks(we took it upon our selves to wipe it down), burn holes in the sheets and the front of the mini fridge looked like it had never been cleaned– nasty caked greasy fingerprints. This is just to name a few. CLEANYOURHOTELLAQUINTA!!! And for those of you staying here, don’t open the blinds as to not shed any extra light on how dirty this place is. A note to La Quinta: we are regular customers and would appreciate some follow up on this experience. Sincerely disappointed!!!

We stayed at this hotel five times last fall. April 17 of this year was our first time back.(Kings Island preview night and opening day.) We arrived a little before 3(check in time) our room was not ready. We decided to make a quick trip to Target and they said they would call my husband’s cell when the room was clean. No call. Get back at 3:40, STILL not ready. We wanted to be at the park by 4. Finally got in the room 5 minutes later. We had such a good experience there last year this stay was disappointing. The only bright spot is Anthony the night worker, he is so sweet and helpful. A few things you should know, they are reducing smoking rooms so call the hotel to verify you have one. Also, for some odd reason this hotel does not have a fridge or microwave in the room. Keep that in mind if you are traveling with a baby, toddler or special needs child.

Made our reservations weeks in advance. Called to confirm at 11:00. King size bed in a non smoking room. Arrived at the site about 9:30 in the evening. Only king bed left is in a smoking room. If we want non smoking our only choice is a full size bed. Not two beds, mind you. My poor wife had to share a single full size bed with her 6-foot-3-inch, 235 pound husband. The room is relatively clean, and no bed bugs as far as I can tell, but this is not a good start to out two-day stay at this place. Also, we are adjacent to a very busy interstate and the noise level is outrageous. The pool was packed with screaming(and I do mean screaming) kids. We couldn’t even enjoy a few minutes to relax in the hot tub. The room they gave us was equipped for handicapped people, which is fine, but it meant that the shower head was the hand-held kind. But if you tried to use it on the mount, good luck. It wouldn’t fit right and you couldn’t get it to point anywhere close to the right direction. Breakfast was not bad, about what you would expect. Waffle station, bagels, muffins, a couple different types of cereal. Hard boiled eggs provided the only protein. Update: they got us into a better room for our second night. We would have checked out, but it seems every hotel in the area was booked solid. The king sized bed in this room was very comfortable. The only problem was the tiny bathroom, but it wasn’t so bad.

It’s not a five star hotel, however the price was more than fair. Bed is comfortable. Room is big & clean. I must say that I was more than impressed with the man that checked us in. He was beyond friendly & helpful. The location is great for our weekend of kings island & shopping. Would definitely recommend & stay here again.

If you book at a LaQuinta you know what you’re getting. Nothing out of the ordinary. I stayed here during Memorial Day weekend. My room was spacious with a king bed. The bed was comfy and the pillows(6) were perfect. Good location with tons of places to eat and shop nearby. There was nothing that I experienced that turned me off. The TV’s are new and they have great picture. The two things I wish they had was a bigger bathroom and a refrigerator. If I were back in the area I would stay here again.
