Food is good. Like the atmosphere, the hostess and food runners were great. Our waitress was horrendous. I think it might have been just our server but she spent the evening talking to a table of people who she obviously knew. Beer was empty for 25 minutes. She finally came to ask if I needed another. Like to rate them higher but the server really took it down!

Not the best burger in the city but definitely one of the best on the west side. Chandlers does pub food right. Appetizers and sides right up there with the burger. And I love that they have a ghost pepper cheese option for your burger, yum!

You have to be a hard core westsider to find this place. It is tucked back in a small suburban strip center in a vague neighborhood that may be Delhi, may be Bridgetown, may be Covedale? It is very unassuming from the outside. I must have driven past it hundreds of times without knowing it was even there. It wasn’t until they remodeled and started papering the neighborhood with flyers that I discovered them. I’ve heard that the owners are building contractors and the décor would back that up: glossy concrete floors and amazing stonework on the walls. It kind of reminds me of a cross between a mountain chalet and your rich friend’s swanky basement den. It’s warm and inviting with plenty of flat screen TVs to watch any sportsball game that your heart desires. It has a fully stocked bar and plenty of beer taps supporting local and other craft brews. Their burgers, as you can guess by the name, are the best thing on the menu. I know the meat is fresh because there is a Chandler’s truck at Bridgetown Finer Meats nearly every time I run past. They are served with your choice of fries, chips, coleslaw or cottage cheese. You should also try their appetizers, especially the smoked chicken wings. Whenever I’m craving a burger, I make a beeline for Chandler’s.

This place has a very chill atmosphere. I went on an early Saturday evening. We promptly received a seat and were served our food. They by far have the best burgers I’ve had in a while and their potato skins are to die for. Even my boyfriend had one and he never eats potato skins. All in all I just wish I knew more about this place. I went because I had a gift card… since then though I’ve been on the lookout for coupons and they are out there. For a dinner or lunch date the cost is reasonable but I could see it getting pricey. It’s well worth the experience especially if you’re craving some greasy bar food that is downright delicious!

Took my kids &4 yr old &2 yr old grandkids to dinner. There’s a big miss here, in my opinion. They have kids meals which include a drink, but don’t have milk or any juices. Choices were soda, lemonade and water. Yet one of the kids meals was macaroni & cheese(which seemed to come out of a box). Do they make it with water or milk??? There’s no milk in the kitchen or at the bar? Hard to believe they chose not to serve milk to kids. Adults got burgers & wings, which were so-so. Pricing was pretty decent, but nothing special here food-wise. Won’t go back to a place that has coloring to keep the little ones busy, but no milk or apple juice for them.

The burgers should be good if you have the word burgers in your company name, right? Not if your on the west side of town. Grease doesn’t make a burger good nor does making up names for burgers. Please cover the basics first. Fresh meat, salt and pepper, cook to temp, rest and serve.

Yum! Delicious burgers! I had the Highlander(without cheese) and it was perfect! I enjoyed every bite and can’t wait to come back and have it again! Fries were hot and tasty, and even better dipped in a side of ranch(50 cents) Will definitely be back the next time I am in that area.

Well, I’d been looking forward to trying this place for a while. Upon arrival I was impressed at how large the place was. Think upscale sports bar atmosphere with small outdoor seating area. Super friendly staff. Beer time. Slightly disappointed with selection on tap, were out of a few things listed too, but very pleased my glass was frosty! Apps. We had the cheese stuffed mushrooms, which were delicious, but a little pricey for just 6 small caps. Behold, the burger. I had the panther, which had great Cajun flavor! Little disappointed as it was not medium, but instead well done, and kind of small. I had envy for my friends Big Chandler which included some of the best goetta I’ve tasted. Fries were decent. All in all, I’ll definitely try it again.

Ordered carry out on a busy Saturday night(had to stop in to order as they stopped answering phones). Really nice place, great vibe. Like a fancy bw3s with better burgers. Not a huge beer selection but had some local craft options. Really interesting burger toppings — definitely plan to dine in one night to catch a game. Cool spot – glad to have it so close to home.

The mac and gouda bites are as phenomenal as everyone says but the burgers are just decent; nothing to write home about. I had the Westsider burger, which came with American cheese, fried pickles and onions, and tartar sauce. It was far too salty and runny. Husband’s was the chef burger, which is a basic burger with LTO and cheese. He added bacon, which was crispy and delicious and better than the actual burger. Service was great-fast and friendly, and the food came out fast too. This is a decent burger place, but not worth the 45 minute wait. I’ll try it again after the newness has worn off.

I really enjoyed our dining experience and food at Chandler’s! Went for the first time, last Saturday — it was very busy(love to see packed small businesses!). The wait was only 30 minutes — it went by fast. Our service was awesome even though she was super busy. Loved the fun appetizer choices AND that the menu was simple. We got the fried pickles and macaroni gouda bites(we were being indecisive) as appetizers. The fried pickles were good — not the best I’ve ever had but a solid fried pickle.(love the homemade ranch) The macaroni gouda bites were awesome! Lots of gouda gave the bites some BITE. My only complaint there was the COLD marinara dipping sauce = wrong and gross. My husband got The Big Chandler(goetta and fried egg on a burger? Hells yah!) and I got a Bacon Cheeseburger. Loved that the burgers were simple — ground chuck(from Bridgetown Finer Meats!), salt and pepper — no fillers or added craziness. Buns(from Servatti’s!)were perfect — great addition to a fabulous burger. Fries need a little help but the onion rings were tasty. :) I would absolutely suggest Chandler’s as both a great place for a casual dining experience AND for a great burger. A couple of notes — I’ve seen complaints about parking? The parking lot is huge! If you have to walk 15 spaces, it’s going to be okay. I promise. While we were there, 3 people said, «Oh, they said we could sit AT the bar and eat — we can sit at these tables, right?» Um, no. That’s the bar area — where ALL the tables are. You can sit AT the bar and eat. Play nice and wait like everyone else — it’s not do whatever the hell you want to do day.

It’s better than fast food but not by much. I got the basic burger(Chef’s) and order of fries. The fries were crispy but tasteless. I ordered the burger medium yet it was somehow dry. Service was acceptable, not good not bad. Prices were reasonable. Overall, if I were in the neighborhood and craving a burger and a beer then I may stop here but if I were to skip the beer then I’d probably be more likely to stop at Mad Mike’s or Five Guys.

This revamping of Chandler’s is a huge success I my book. In no way is the outside indicative of the inside. Décor is more upscale than a typical burger joint. There are tables, booths, and a bar. Flat screen t.v.s are all around. The print on the booth backs is a string of corny jokes. We were all highly impressed with our food. Food of this caliber isn’t typically found on the West Side. The macaroni & gouda bites were a hit with the whole family. Gooey on the inside, and crisp on the outside. These bites were the perfect way to warm up after coming in from the cold. Quality fresh meat from Bridgetown Fine Meat, and the Servatii’s buns really made the food shine. The cheese were above average too. The Melt St. Joe & The Highlander burgers were equally delicious. Both were well seasoned. French fries were just how I like them; fluffy on the inside, and crisp on the outside. For me, there was the perfect amount of salt and pepper on the fries. The kids enjoyed their chicken strips and Mac & cheese. While not something they can control, parking is an issue here. There is not enough parking for the number of businesses in the center. We were already talking about our next visit before we left.

It’s a breath of fresh air to have a great non chain restaurant like this located on the westside. We had a party of 4 and all our meals were delicious and fresh! Even something not usually typically exciting like a side salad was freshly prepared and the ranch dressing was homemade and addicting! This place appears to always be packed so try to come early and be prepared to fight it out for a parking spot(like its the day after thanksgiving at your local mall!!)

Chandler Burger Bistro is one of the biggest restaurant comebacks I have ever seen. It is on Cleves Warsaw Pike on the West side of Cincinnati. This is one of those restaurants that has TOTALLY reinvented themselves into something amazing. I had been to Chandlers diners eons ago when I lived on the West side. I hated it. The food was stuff that my grandma would make for family meals. Think turkey and gravy or meatloaf. Chris(the ex-husband) liked it, but I did not. So when someone told me I had to check out Chandlers I was a little more than apprehensive. Finally after some pics I saw on Facebook I decided to give it a second try. From the outside it doesn’t look super impressive. It’s in a strip-mall and due to the weather the patio is covered in plastic. But once I went inside-WOW. What a transformation. It looked so different I couldn’t remember what the old place even looked like. The décor was modern and nice, but the best part about this place was the service. The bartender was our server and I can not rave about her enough! She was so sweet and attentive. She was talking to Lauren and giving recommendations. Every patron that walked into the door while we were there knew her and she gave them hugs. Just based on her alone, its the kind of place I would go all the time if I lived close. The food was 1 million times better than before. We started off with the Macaroni Gouda bites.($ 6.99) Holy hell– I’m glad Lauren doesn’t like cheese, because I ate them all and didn’t want to share. They were soooo good. I could eat those everyday for the rest of my life and be a happy camper. Just seeing the pictures again makes me hungry! For dinner, Lauren got(shocker) chicken wings. The sauce was sweet and they were cooked really well. I have heard they have a great garlic sauce for wings too, but didn’t try them. I am so mad at myself. This place is suppose to have awesome burgers. I ordered this pineapple and teriyaki sandwich that I thought was a burger but was actually chicken. 100% my fault. It said chicken right on the menu. It was good, but next time I go back, I have to get a burger! I’m so glad the westside is getting all these great places to eat. Price hill chili and Sebastian’s have always been there, but with new additions like Incline Public House and now Chandlers– I’ll be eating over there a lot more.

Insufficient parking, parking lot was full and the restaurant had no wait and serveral tables were open. Food was phenomenal I had the panther hamburger and my mom had the highlander hamburger. You can actually taste the hamburger itself instead of all the toppings. 10⁄10 will come back!

Went here for the first time a few days ago. The parking lot was full even though the restaurant had no wait. We got the loaded waffke fries and they were the best in town. I also ordered a Big Chandler buger that I thought left alot to desired for and was full of grease.

Came here in Saturday– four days after(re)opening at 5 o’clock and the parking lot was already full. We had to wait fifteen minutes for a table, which we were fine with(but definitely surprised by considering how early it was!) Once we got seated, we ordered some beers and pub pickles. The beers and kid drinks came in a timely manner, but sadly, our pickles never came, and we had to wait 40 minutes for our food. It was a mad-house! The kids had a really difficult time being patient as they were hungry when we got there. When our food came, it was pretty good. Nothing to rave about. The man-friend and I both ordered our burgers medium rare and they came out medium well. Sad face. Our gourmet patties were the same size as the kid’s, which seemed a bit strange. Our waitress was super personable and attentive and took the pickles off our bill once realizing they never came, but definitely wasn’t the experience or burger heaven close to home we were hopeful it might be. That being said, will have to give it a second chance given that they had just(re)opened once things die down a bit!

This is a review for the new Chandler’s Burger Bistro which opened in November 2014. It is still the same family name but with an additional business partner, more space and a whole lot of chutzpah, it has wonderfully transformed itself from a nice simple(and dare I say quaint) family restaurant to an energetic modern designed chic FAMILY sports bar. Purposely arrived during the Saturday night«Crush». Was told up to a 45 minute wait and expected every minute of it as the restaurant was packed. Not only full tables but also an overly full waiting area(that was properly/comfortably spaced). Our wait was 20 minutes. That isn’t to say the the hostess was off but I watched over that 20 minutes the leadership constantly working with the wait staff and hostesses as they were strategically evaluating the landscape to ensure efficient, but not rushed, turning of tables. They were excellent at optimizing the space made available(seating right size groups at what was available — no two people at a four topper or seven at a table for five) and burning through the wait list with customer pleasing efficiency. And then the food came. It was Phenomenal. The burgers — best I’ve had in considerable memory(I had Melt St Joe). The wings were big, meaty and had the right hint of smokiness(they’re smoked); the flavors in which they were sauced complemented the experience and didn’t dominate. I tried the Taco Salad, boneless wings, boring old chicken tenders, regular fries, cheese fries(shredded cheese of course) and the celery. I could not find one item that had not been presented/prepared with the care you’d hope. The food was phenomenal. I look forward to future visits as I continue to experience the remaining menu as well as seeing if they can repeat time and time again. This isn’t just a great West Side restaurant, it’s one of the best casual food restaurants in the region. Keep it up and I look forward to future visits.

This past Saturday night my wife and I found ourselves on the west side of town for an event starting in the early evening. We originally intended to finally try the Incline Public House late in the afternoon, but we ended up very short on time so we dropped into Chandler’s Restaurant instead, which happened to be very near our evening destination. Chandler’s is a family style restaurant located along Cleves Warsaw Pike at the intersection with Ebenezer Road. My wife and I, both in our early thirties, were easily the youngest there. It seemed that most of the other tables in the place were occupied by regulars as they were often greeted by name by the restaurant staff. However our service was great and they made us feel like they truly appreciated our patronage. I ordered the ham and turkey club sandwich on grilled sourdough with fries. The sandwich was served dry but came with a packet of mayonnaise that I gladly emptied on top. It arrived steaming hot and came topped with bacon and sliced tomato. While it was fairly standard club, I did enjoy the sandwich quite a bit. My wife had the pineapple teriyaki grilled chicken sandwich with fries as well. She is a sucker for pineapple teriyaki anything. The pineapple topping was obviously straight from a can, but she enjoyed this sandwich nonetheless. Again, it was a pretty standard sandwich but it was well prepared and tasted good. That is exactly what you should expect at Chandler’s, good food for a great price with speedy and friendly service.
