Most likely my least favorite restaurant. Food is marginal and the atmosphere is dark and not very well kept. Always looks like it needs cleaning.

We stopped in because DH saw the Joe’s Watermill sign and thought it was the same place(apparently the actual Watermill closed years ago). We went in and there was no host to seat us, just a dingy bar and cramped tabletop seating. We were told by a random bar patron to sit anywhere, so we sat in the back area. The décor looked old and run down, but I usually don’t hold that against an establishment — some of the best food can come from dives. For it being Fathers Day, it wasn’t all that busy. When we got our menus we saw the place is now Abby’s. We sat by a window. Noticed while waiting on food that the sill hadn’t been dusted in a long time and there were fly particles lying there, which was gross. I ordered a french onion soup and a reuben. DH ordered the pot roast and fruit cup. Waitress was friendly but forgot what we ordered. Then she left off my soup and DH’s fruit cup. Considering that the other table in our seating area had to wait over ½ hour for their order and eventually left without eating, I didn’t bother to remind the waitress about my soup, but DH did get the fruit cup once we asked about it. The reuben was good, but nothing to write home about. The thousand island tasted like straight sugar. DH’s pot roast — noodles were good and meat was tender but the gravy tasted like nothing but salt. He also had«mountain dew» that we both sipped and it was clearly mello yello or a knockoff. The wait staff was nice but disorganized, place is dirty, and the food is hit or miss. Won’t be back.

I have gone here a handful of times. Its seems to be my grandmother’s choice when coming back into town. I can attest to the fact that they have a variety of food, but the quality of the food is nothing to rave over that is for sure. The layout of the place is odd, although it is a laid back casual atmosphere. I would not recommend this to anyone unless its the only spot for a get together in that neighborhood.

This place is alright, not the best, but fairly decent for getting a bite to eat before a movie. It was kinda dark, and the table and salt and pepper shakers were kinda sticky(EW). The women’s bathroom was rather odd too, it had one stall which led into another stall with a broken toilet(like some kind of dreaded nightmare), and a shower curtain between the two(weird set up). The dining area we ate in was rather cold too. I got the cod and fries, and the fries were really quite good, however the cod was seasoned rather oddly, I wouldn’t order it again if I ever went back here. Honestly IDK if I would go back here, it was all just a little off for me.

This place doesn’t even deserve the one star. When you walk in this dingy place there’s no space to move. When we sat down the tables were sticky like no one wiped them. The lady JACKIE that served us was a really rude woman rushing me to order and was making snarky comments about what I wanted. I got the pot roast. It was disgusting. The meat and noodles were slathered in gravy. The meat itself was dry and the noodles had water left on them so there was this nasty soupy mixture on my plate. When I told her I was rather disgusted she got rude with me and told me I still had to pay for it. That’s no way to treat customers and I didn’t even get two bites in so why would you make a customer pay for something that was so awful. Maybe make better food. I’m never coming here again and I advise everyone else to not go here.

This is a nice place… was an older crowd but the food was good… went on a Wednesday night so I don’t know if that is why the people were older but it is an ok place to get a beer and some food and watch a game…

I went to meet a friend for a pseudo business meeting. She was involved in a new business and wanted to tell me about it so we decided to grab a quick bit to eat. The place looks neat from the inside, but during busy times of the day it’s a little hard to turn into if you’re making a left turn. When we went inside, it was very welcoming, it was a bar atmosphere and everyone seemed friendly enough. She had been there, so she took us through the bar area and onto the back«deck.» This alone was merit to receive more stars, but the service. Ah, yes the service. Well, to put it bluntly. it sucked. I had a piece of cake, which is why they get the two stars instead of one. It was amazzzzzzzzing. My friend had a Cesar salad. Quick order, thought we’d be in and outta that place. Yeah. NO. We were there for probably at least two hours. It got to the point that we had to ASK for our bill. If you only do that once, OK. But we asked at least 3 times. Finally we got our bill. She picked up the tab and paid with a credit card. Wow. I think they may have lost her card for awhile or something because it literally took 30 mins to get it back. It was ridiculous. It wasn’t like the place was packed. I’ve very reasonable and if it were and the service was this lackluster. I’d understand. Will I go back. Meh… maybe. I wouldn’t mind giving it a second chance, but if it’s the same experience again after that I definitely wouldn’t go back again for a third time, even if the third time is supposed to be the«charm.»

I had heard this place was excellent for vegetarians needless to say I was a wee bit dissapointed when I found out the only«vegetarian» item was a veggie burger. I expected more and was a bit disappointed. The place is super small and very quiet. I will say the prices are very budget friendly but the only downfall is the size and it’s very quiet.

we go to abby’s a lot. there is a variety of sandwiches, casual atmosphere, sports on the tv for my husband, and it’s in close proximity to the movie theater. the owners are very nice and down-to-earth. the sandwiches are named for westside high school mascots, a concept i(sadly) never tire of. we usually sit on the porch or patio and have margaritas and beer. the jalapeño and cheese stuffed pretzel is a great start to the meal. every sandwich, salad, or dinner i have had there is simple and satisfying. my favorites include the taco salad, blt, and veggie burger.

A solid place to get a burger, sandwich, or just unwind watching the game. All of the sandwiches and burgers, which are named for west side high school mascots, are pretty good and the patio is a great place to relax with a drink in the summertime.
