My husband and I went here for our anniversary. We made a reservation, but we were a few minutes late(definitely less than 5). From the beginning, it felt like we were treated poorly, from the hostess to the server, and I’m not sure if it was because we were late or what. It took nearly 40 minutes before we had our appetizer order taken and served. My husband and I enjoy wine, but we are not very knowledgable. My husband researched the wines beforehand so that we could plan for what we would want and could afford. When he selected it, the server made a snide comment about how he had never heard of it and were we sure that’s what we wanted. Once he brought the wine to us, he brought a merlot instead of the blush wine we had ordered. My husband did not realize until after it was opened, and then he was too embarrassed to say anything. I frantically checked the menu to make sure it wasn’t significantly more expensive. It turned out to be slightly more expensive, but we just dealt with it. When I made our reservation, I commented that it was our anniversary. It wasn’t until we already had our entrees that the server asked if we had a special occasion. It felt like he was eventually polite to us, but at the beginning of the meal, we felt overlooked and ignored. I could hear him greeting the other tables with congratulations and actually served them first. A table that arrived 15 minutes after us had been read the specials and served before us. I have no idea what we could have done to be treated that way. The food itself was not good at all. For a $ 40 steak, I would expect much more flavor. It was cooked appropriately but it lacked flavor. The sides were ok. The lobster cargot and crème brûlée were delicious, but we came for the steak. Unfortunately, it was a very expensive meal that was average, but even worse, we felt that we were treated so poorly it put a damper on our special occasion. If I could go back in time, I would save us the 2.5 hours and $ 250 and not go to Mickey Mantles. The restaurant did provide us with the dessert for free and a $ 15 coupon for an appetizer in the future. The problem is that I would never consider eating here again. It was such a negative experience that even if I were to be offered an entire meal for free, I would not go. I have never said that about any restaurant in my life until now.

Food is good, but i think it is very expensive for what they serve… Waiter talks too much about all the food that did make us confused haha.(She was good), but we wait for like an hour for our food wich was bad at 6pm Oh and it is so dark inside that make me sleepy. I think a place with light is more enjoyable

I was recently in OKC on a business trip and we went to this steakhouse for dinner. OMG such an amazing steak. I ordered the ROQUEFORTFILET. Delicious! We have many good steakhouses here in Chicago, but this was definitely up there in one of the best cooked steaks I’ve ever had. We also ordered the jalapeño mac and cheese and rosemary zucchini as our sides. Looking forward to my next business trip to OKC to have this again!

PERFECTION! this is my kind of steakhouse. Everything was great from the Bar to the Table. The Bartender was personable and made a great Olf Fashioned as well as a wonderful Martuni. We were a party of 10 and we’re in a secluded room, we called last minute and although we did not get in right waway we were taken care of . We got the Seafood Towers, Lobster escargo and Deep fried asparagus as appetisers and all were delicious. BONEINFILET was to die for and perfectly cooked. All of the side were amazing, Lobster mac, cream spinach, mashed and au gratin potatoes. Don’t miss this gem in OKC, it’s not cheap and it shouldn’t be. Cheers

When I arrived I stopped by the restroom and knew I was in a schmancy place based on the hand towels in the bathroom. I had a wonderful back and forth with Ashtin, if I remember correctly, at the bar. She talked me through some of the specials for the day and also the different meals she enjoys. I had one of the fish options, I know I was in a steak house how dare I, right? Well it was so so good. I am glad that I did. The apple crisp dessert at the end just finished what had already been a great experience, just right. It was very lively and I had a great time. I will be back for sure.

Let me start out by saying the service was phenomenal, actually everything else about our evening there was great except for the cowboy cut steak. They were really pushing their«steak butters» for a premium price, but I decided to stick with the tried and true deliciously cooked steak sans flavored butter. What a fail, all it needed was some salt and pepper before cooking and it was would’ve made it great, buuuuuut no. Not only that, the cut itself was seriously flawed with a thick line of tendon and rubbery fat right through the middle. Mantle, check your cuts and grab some salt!

Great steaks. The wine list was strong and so were their prices. Service was some of the best I had in a line time. They also have a cigar lounge which was nice for after dinner.

You can’t come to OKC without at least trying the highly-recommended Micky Mantle’s Steakhouse. Loved the ambiance and décor, though it was relatively«traditional» for a steakhouse(my opinion). It was clean and the wait staff was friendly and professional. We started out with the Fried Asparagus & Grilled Australian Lamb Chops. OMG, the asparagus! The lamb chops were delish too, but I tend to get a kick out of healthy food gone naughty, and the asparagus definitely didn’t taste like it was healthy anymore. I realize it’s a steakhouse, but I grew up on steak so tend to lean towards seafood. Though I traditionally go for the Ahi, this time I thought the Pan Roasted Sea sounded good. I was not disappointed, and the Lobster Risotto that comes with it is YUM!

Ahhh Mickey Mantle’s how I love you so. Appetizers included the crab cakes and fried asparagus, a suggested pair from our waiter! Crab cakes are a must and the asparagus was a nice touch! The cakes are sitting on a thin bed of a creamy sauce that brings the flavors together! House salad dressing was great! A little to much dressing for the amount of leafy greens though. Ribeye was cooked to perfection! A luscious and juicy piece of meat a Texan like myself knows best. Sides are served a la cart. One is probably enough to share for 4 people. Au gratin potatoes, Jalapeño/bacon mac n cheese, and zucchini! I recommend all but Au gratin(pretty basic). Lastly, as presumed my pants were never going to fit me again, was the NY cheese cake! I reccomend asking for all toppings on the side if you are sharing!

I’m always going to be a little bit partial to the place that hosted my first ever Unilocal event. But even so, it’s time for me to move Mickey Mantle’s on up to 5 stars, because I can’t keep going there over and over and pretend that I don’t love it. I mean, how many times can you visit the same place before you have to admit you have a problem? The two things I like the most about the place are the variety of excellent sauces, which means you can have some decent variety even if you’re a steak eater through and through, and the impressive variety of top-quality seafood. The seafood is as good as anything you can get in the city, and at a steakhouse no less! Obviously, Mickey Mantle’s is on the pricier side, but if you keep an eye out for deals, you can probably afford to go there a little more often than you think. It’s about the only mailing list I don’t mind being on because some of the deals are pretty darn good! I stand by my previous claim that the steaks themselves(and honestly, the service sometimes) are a tiny bit worse than the best spots I’ve ever visited. But it’s all very, very good, and I’m happy to wind up there any time.

We were VERY impressed with our visit to this restaurant. The service was amazing, and the food was incredibly delicious. When you come, ask for Frank. He’s attentive and pleasant, but non-intrusive. We submit five stars(because there aren’t six).

My favorite place for date night in OKC! The steaks are perfection on a plate. The risotto is the best I have ever eaten. Try the sea bass, and save room for dessert… they are to die for! The service is impeccable, and the ambiance is impressive. A definite splurge that never disappoints!

I was invited to dinner with my son and daughter in law on Sunday, January 3rd. Parking is street or parking garage and from what they told me, parking can be an issue, especially if a game or other event is on. We had reservations at 630 and it was not a problem, the place was almost empty. The food selection was pretty good with a focus on steaks and seafood. The wine selection was also good AND they had draught beer!(+1) We had a scallop appetizer which was big enough for three to share. The sides are big so when you order you main dish, you can plan on sharing the sides, which come in separate dishes. I had the 10 oz. Filet, which I ordered medium well but it was well done when it arrived so they took it back and got me one cooked perfectly. They apologized and obviously rushed my order because it did not take long before my food arrived. The décor, food and service was top notch. When they realized my son had just returned from Afghanistan they gave us a free dessert; which was big enough to share and was delicious. It was chocolate and ice cream. Expect to spend 50 – 75 per meal with drinks & tips and is a great place to take the one you love. I only had one comment about the service and the waiter. And this sounds funny I know, complaining about too much good service. LOL. But while he was excellent and tried very hard, I think he came by our table too much and I felt rushed. He also would interrupt our conversations, instead of waiting for us to stop talking. I am use to the servers being less intrusive once the meal arrives. I usually just look around if I need something and they come to the table. The comment about service is just something for the owners to consider but it by no means detracted from a great evening, dinner and time with my family. It gets a 5+. And thank you for honoring my son’s service.

When in OKC this place is a must! Everything was perfect. Our server was a riot and very attentive! Nice! Our group was large(20) and the staff made everyone feel like they were the only one there. Everyone’s order was correct and prompt. We ordered several appetizers, but the Fried Pickles won best on the table. I started with pan seared scallops, they were amazing! I had the strip, medium, perfectly cooked and served piping hot! We shared a few desserts but the«must have» is the chocolate cake! The portion was the size of Texas! Impressive.

This place is the go to spot for happy hour in Okc. They have a free buffet from 4:30 — 7:00pm(except on concert/game nights) but always feature 2 $ domestics and ½ priced apps. I highly recommend the crab scampi(hot snow crab claws) and/or the shrimp cocktail. Apps are ½ priced, you can’t beat it and your belly will thank you for venturing to bricktown. Absolutely la-la-la-love this place!

I took a party of 12 here for an adult’s birthday. We had 5 teenagers of varying maturity with us. they had a long table prepared for us and even though we were early for our reservation we were seated immediately. Staff was helpful making sure later arrivals found us. We tend to be a disorganized bunch and I was afraid that especially the teens would make ordering a nightmare. Our excellent waitress worked with me to guide the process. I pretty much asked her to just«bring us an assortment» and she handled it with flair. The meals were well prepared and flavorful. Least favorite dish was the lobster bisque, which just seemed to be lacking something. Most favored was definitely the roquefort fillet which was just amazing. The atmosphere in the dining room got quite loud as the evening went on. We certainly contributed to that but it certainly wasn’t all us. All around us happy7 diners seemed to ba having a good time and several stopped by to wish the guest of honor a happy birthday. Staff took and printed some photos for us and provided the kids with a giant slab of chocolate cake. We never felt rushed as if they were trying to «turn a table.» thanks you Mickey Mantle’s staff for making this a truly special occasion! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town and I do recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly.

Alright. I’m just gonna get this first part out of the way because there’s barely enough positive points here to bring them up to a 3 star rating. Given all the hype I read about this place, I was inclined to try it, being that I just happened to be in the area. Honestly, I expected a lot more. I’m giving this restaurant two stars because their main course was cooked perfectly(for the most part), their bar is immaculate, and they have complimentary WiFi(always a bonus in my book). But that’s where the praise stops. Onto the negative: I ordered a lobster bisque as opposed to a Caesar salad… which I immediately regretted after tasting the lobster bisque. I couldn’t even finish it because it was terribly bland with hardly any lobster pieces in it. Now, if you’re gonna be stingy on the lobster pieces, fine. I get it. Lobster is treated as a delicacy. But your soup base should be seasoned. Always. Without question. This bisque tasted like floured water. Less than half way through the bowl, I was done. I couldn’t subject my taste buds to that level of travesty any longer. Probably my biggest complaint though… is the price. Normally you will NEVER hear a guy like me complain about the price of anything because I eat out a lot and frankly, I’m not exactly hurting for cash. But this lobster tail was ridiculously, pretentiously, hilariously priced! Normal price range for lobster tails can range anywhere between $ 40 and $ 60(unless you’re in a place like Red Lobster which only charges $ 30). This place had the nerve to charge $ 80 for lobster that, quite honestly, was hurting for seasoning. But that’s not the worst part. The worst part occurs when you realize this lobster tail does NOT come with any sides. Yes… you read that correctly. You can get sides, but you have to pay extra for each side you order. So to recap: I paid $ 80 for a lobster tail with almost no seasoning and no side dishes included in the price. Allow me to quote my favorite letters in the alphabet: «WTF?!» I don’t care that this place has the term«steakhouse» in its title. I should be able to get a lobster tail at a decent price. I’ve bought whole meals at finer establishments for less money. Like I said, this was pretentiousness at its finest. To their credit, the lobster itself was a nice large portion and perfectly cooked. I just had to add a lot of salt to it and the butter before I could thoroughly enjoy it. I ordered the au gratin potatoes as a side. They were cheesy as I dunno what… which I love. Unfortunately, they needed a touch of salt as well. Overall, a decent meal. But I’ve had way better for WAY less! It got to the point where I left the bartender a lower than normal tip, mainly due to the price of the meal and the fact that the bar service was more anemic than I’m used to. Bricktown is a nice place to visit. This restaurant made me glad I don’t live in Oklahoma City. And that’s saying a lot.

We went to Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse for after dinner cocktails and dessert… I had an extra dirty martini with blue cheese olives… and then was convinced I needed to try a dessert, so I chose the chocolate mousse! And this was a great choice! Our waiter was great– very fun, friendly and attentive.
