We needed a quick place to stop to eat in North OKC. We had a really good experience here! Service was really good, beer selection is great, and food is pretty good for sports bar food(queso wasn’t great– almost like ballgame cheese). Overall I would definitely recommend and would be a perfect game day spot — great tv’s everywhere!

Service was amazing! The wings are rotisserie & so juicy & moist! They have a Sunday 5 – 10 special 20 wings & a pitcher for $ 20…the garlic parm wings are to die for! They had all the games playing which was important for me coming from Seattle & wanting to see my Seahawks play

Stopped here on way back from Texas to ohio. Close by many of the hotels in northwest Oklahoma City. Food was so good and incredibly fresh. Highly recommend the Bison Burger. Cole slaw is some of the best I have ever had too!

Met some friends here and enjoyed my visit. My first experience with Wes Welker’s made me very happy. Not my style of place, but I CAN recommend it. Has that chain vibe for sure. The drink selection is fine. They have all the apps and dinner items that you’d expect from a typical sports bar. Nothing really stood out to me though. Maybe give it a 4⁄5 if they didn’t kick us out at 11 so they could close.

I wanted so badly to like this place. Great concept, but a lacking in atmosphere, variety of food and service. The bar is heavy and dark, not inviting whatsoever. The 2-seater booth was very comfortable, though. I ordered a create your own flight which included Black Mesa Blonde — I would go back for that alone, that’s how good it was. Since it was our first time, we ordered the Welker favorites, ribs and bison burger. The ribs were just OK, but a decent portion for $ 15. My husband really liked the accompanying green beans. The bison burger patty was overwhelmed by the size of the bun, and I didn’t get any meat until two bites in. The okra I ordered along with the burger was a very small amount for $ 3. The menu needs some other things, like maybe a slow cooked tenderloin or roast. Then there was our server, Britney. Maybe she was mad about working on Halloween, or maybe mad about being named Britney and being blonde. Either way, we never got a single smile and we seemed like a chore to her. I might be back for a local brew, but it won’t be my first choice.

Our server’s name was Justine and she was very good and super nice. We had the cheese fries extra crispy and they tasted pretty good! Pretty good beer selection and option for flights which I like so I can try several beers. They will also let you taste on tap beers before committing to an entire glass. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and there are a ton of TVs. Very fun atmosphere!

Came here with my husband and baby. There’s probably 67 tv’s in this place! It was packed and the service was still pretty fast. I got a slaw burger. It was AWESOME. Best 5.99 I ever spent. I also got the uruboros stout. The waiter wasn’t very informed when it comes to beers. He compared this to a guiness which I assure you it is not. It’s a much more chocolatey malt thats very smooth and delicious. They paired together perfectly. Overall good experience!

I’m not normally a fan of sports bars so when I found out we were going here for dinner for a family event, I wasn’t very excited. When we got there though I was pleasantly surprised to find that Wes Welker’s wasn’t your average sports bar. Yes there were lots of TVs around with sports on, but the atmosphere was much more upscale than most other sports bars I’ve been to, and the food and drink, while not gourmet, were a step up from most standard bar food. I wouldn’t mind coming coming back to watch a game, or just grab a bite and hang out.

Great food. Had the very juicy and tasty all American burger with fries and my friend tried the chile lime salad — best salad she ever had. I have to agree. The dressing was very unique and creamy. We finished up with sharing the HUGE peanut butter fudge sundae. It was fantastic! We will be back!

Very good sports bar. Huge TVs everywhere. The chicken buffalo wrap was very good as well. The cheesesteak rolls are fucking delicious, my only complaint is that $ 7 is a little high for what you get(only 4 egg-roll halves). However, overall the experience was very good and I’ll definitely be back come football season.

We went on a saturday early evening for pre — dinner drinks. Really just wanted to check the place out because we are huge Wes fans. It was a nice place, drinks were reasonable priced. The bartender was nothing special but have way worse. One complaint though the tv directly in front of us was on an info ad for arthritis medication the whole hour we were there.

Tonight was the second trip for my wife and I in the past three days. We watched the Thunder game at the bar this Sunday and had a great experience. Good food and good service. However, tonight was not the same experience! We sat at the bar again and it started out as a good experience. There were three bar tenders; Alli, Kyle and Kirby. Kirby was great and we really enjoyed her company and service. However, she left at the beginning of the second half and it all fell apart when she left. The bar and the restaurant was full, but in the middle of the third quarter a decision must have been made to go into«clean up» mode! Alli started her clean up duties. She pulled the floor mats and didn’t look up to see if any of the patrons needed anything. It’s not like I would have wanted anything from her anyway after pulling out the nasty rubber floor mats! Kyle was only into himself. I tried to get his attention after my wife’s glass was empty for about 10 minutes. Finally, we decided we were done. We ended up leaving with 5 minutes left in the game only because I couldn’t imagine spending one more dollar after the service tonight. It is upsetting due to the fact that the food was really good this evening. I like the atmosphere and the location is great for my wife and I, but I will think twice about returning. It was game four of the western conference finals in OKC! Really, stop cleaning and focus on making money, people. I blame the management. Why would it be okay to neglect your customers?

Chicken Caesar Salad. Grilled chicken, greatest cheese, fresh romain lettuce and the dressing is amazing! Very good hint of tang in the dressing. This is the real deal. Good meal, good service. Worth a visit, for a sports fan.

Great place to watch a Thunder game. We were here on a Friday night and had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table. The service was pretty slow and it took about 10 minutes for our waitress to get our drink orders, but it was understandable because of the game and the crowd there. I ordered a cheesburger which I was very pleased with. The best part of the night was seeing Westbrook hit a Thunder Money Ball with less than one second left to give OKC the victory. The whole place went nuts, it was awesome. Overall, it was a solid experience and I look forward to coming here for another OKC Thunder game in the future.

Went here on a Friday night and walked up to the bar to sit down. Everyone has been saying its crowded and long wait times but we did not experience that at all. We ordered the buffalo chicken nachos — and I just ate around the chicken. Buffalo chicken anything is mr. Bee’s favorite item of all time. There were real blue cheese crumbles on the nachos, the tortilla chips were Delish too. Then we ordered the spinach salad to spilt. This was also very tasty; made in house maple vinaigrette, apples and candied nuts. The beer selection here is great they had both of our local favorites: tank 7 and dnr! And surprise some of their desserts are made in house as well! We had the cheesecake and it was seriously one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten!(My mothers is my favorite). But I think I could eaten another piece of Wes welker’s. This place impressed me and I we will probably be back.

My husband & I go out for lunch every Saturday. I wasn’t craving anything in particular today & since we weren’t in a rush, I thought we should go try someplace new to us. My expectations weren’t high & that’s a good thing because they were too high after all. Things didn’t start off well since we noticed how cold it was as soon as we entered. Unfortunately things didn’t get better. I ordered the grilled salmon but told the waitress I didn’t want it with the aioli sauce(I hate mayo). I also changed the sides from cole slaw & a rice casserole to sweet potato waffle fries & green beans with onions & bacon. My husband ordered a ½ rack of ribs with pork belly beans & changed the mashed potatoes to beer battered fries. Our food arrived together but sure enough my salmon had the aioli on it. I told the male server who brought it that I had ordered it without any aioli. He said they could fix that & took my plate away. My husband asked if I minded if he started eating. I said of course not, don’t let your food get cold. It only took a minute for my food to return with salmon that did not have aioli. I requested ketchup for the fries. He returned with a small silver container of ketchup on a plate. My husband & I really hate when restaurants ration ketchup & other sauces so he told the server I would need more. So what did we get — another plate with a small silver container of ketchup! Surprisingly, my grilled salmon was the best of my food items. The green beans with onions & bacon were bland. When I eat unhealthy things, I want them to taste good. Not so today. Given that this is a bar & grill — bar food — I expected the fries to be at least decent. Another disappointment. My waffle sweet potato fries were a bit greasy & about ½ of them were undercooked. My husband said his ribs were tough, beans bland & beer battered fries weren’t very good. This is a good place to watch lots of sporting events. We had choices of college football games, golf & motor racing. Surprisingly my husband is not a big sports fan — I am a bigger fan than he is. My husband didn’t even know who Wes Welker was! I thought it was neat to see a lot of his memorabilia all around the bar. I think this was a one time trip for us. Since the food averages out to mediocre, there are too many other better places to eat and other new places still to try.

Went to the new Wes Welkers on Monday for lunch. Really enjoyed the restaurant. Nice to see one of our own become crazy successful. The bar menu is amazing. LOTS of beer selections. The food is a little pricey but amazing. I ordered the buffalo burger per the server’s advice. It was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it. My girlfriend ordered the rotisserie chicken sandwich and it was amazing too. If the prices weren’t so high($ 12 for my burger) I would be eating there more often. Definitely a great place to watch a game and have a beer though.

Went to Welkers on a Wednesday night for guys night out. I wanted this place to be great, unfortunately I was let down. I was in the restaurant for 90 minutes, 3 guys sitting at the bar. We ordered 3 cocktails and an appetizer, 20, 30, 50, 70 minutes later and after our empty glasses didn’t even have ice in them because it had completely melted, we got asked if we needed another cocktail. We politely said no thanks, told them why, got our check and went to Twin Peaks. I haven’t had service like that, ever. The place wasn’t even crowded. However, the manager did come over and offer us a drink on the house, which is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. We did have a chance to express these issues with management, so hopefully things will turn around. The only thing we had a chance to order was the tailgate dip, which was really quite good. That’s all I can review, as we were not asked to order anything else. Unless my wife forces me back here, I’ll stick to Welkers neighbor to the East.

We went to Wes Welker’s on a Wednesday night for a quick dinner and to see how the new restaurant would be – we were extremely impressed with the restaurant for a number of reasons; the service was very personable and our waiter, JJ was a great help in recommending some incredible dishes. The Tailgate appetizer was a unique twist on the run of the mill chips and Queso — incredibly spicy and a great balance of chili and cheese mixed together was awesome. My wife had the Bouzin(?) Burger was cooked perfectly and juicy with sautéed mushrooms, Swiss and onions. I had the ‘Half-Back’ ribs which were hands down the best ribs I’ve had in a long time. Best of all they have their own BBQ sauce that was the best mix of zing spice and sweet. The ambiance is a sports fans dream — with a 60″ TVEVERYWHERE you look, I am definitely excited for this years football season. Overall — we had a great experience and look forward to going back real soon!
