First time here… loved the place… we were early on Cinco de Mayo and the place slowly filled up… first, let me say that this place is FAMILYFRIENDLY… I have heard people say, «well its only a bar»…far from that, so if you have a family, please try it out… the service was outstanding. …thankyou Sommer… the food and drinks were truly awesome. …and we couldn’t get over the prices… honestly, the Naked Nachos alone could have filled a family of four and for only $ 6. …this is a fairly new venue on North May up by Quail Creek… the area needs more places like this… on my rating scale, I give it an A…

Oh Pink Parrot… you F’d up! You dont even realized it, and quite honestly, I doubt you even cared based on my time in your establishment. I just moved into the area and live less than a mile away… my buddy and I go out for drinks and food at least several times a week… you just lost quite a bit of business, at least from us, and hopefully whoever reads this review. So why am I so upset you’re all wondering? I have never, and I mean NEVER not been acknowledged or even looked at in a place for 10 solid minutes. Excuse makers will say they were busy, they didn’t see us, etc, however we had two different waitresses help the people next to us and behind us and walk right past us several times. Look at my picture, Im not a scumbag or anything… I was freshly showered and wearing a buttoned up collared shirt even… I would have liked to reviewed the place on the food and drinks, but unfortunately, we never got the opportunity… after 10 mins without so much as a Hi, we had to leave. PP, you could have gold plated tacos for free and you will never get me back in there. What I did observe in the 10 minutes we were there… it reminded me of a place i went to for spring break in Lake Havasu in my early 20’s…that is not a compliment. What I mean is, the décor was very spartan… there was no quality or class to any of it. The bar? I seriously wouldnt have known it was a bar if it wasnt a raised up and linear with a large space behind it. I may go back to take a picture to share with everyone. It was seriously like 3 margarita machines and one of those $ 5 shelves with 2 brackets holding up a handful of other liquors. I dont know, it seemed like the vibe was a cheap CHEAP college bar, but the prices on the menu didnt match… I mean, $ 8 for a Jose Cuervo margarita? No thanks… Unfortunately, there isnt much in the way of food or drnks in this area so they will likely survive… too bad since they would be run out of business in more active parts of town…

Food was good, but the server Amy told our table to tip our server before she left. We were good and had our tips figured, but the condescending attitude towards our group and the«reminder» to tip really put us off as a group. I will hesitate returning after the way we were spoken to by the wait staff.

Food selection is scarce on the menu, the mixed drinks have no flavor(unless rubbing alcohol is a flavor), found bugs and hair in our food & drink, and the atmosphere and layout is uninviting. Crowd is mostly catered to 18 – 25 yr olds. The food itself is bad, most are microwaveables or come from a can. Not a place that seems like it will succeed. A no-go for me.

This was our third time at the Pink Parrot. The first two times were for lunch and the food was good as was the service. Last night we went there for dinner and was sorely disappointed. The management needs to understand how offensive the music was to some customers. There were about 20 patrons in the bar including a family with three children. When a rap song came on talking about«fucking my bitches», repeatedly, it was obvious that the family was distressed by these lyrics. Also my wife and I were thoroughly offended as well. I doubt there were any patrons who would leave the bar because there’s not enough vulgarity in the music. But I can promise the management that are patrons who will not return to the bar because of the music. In a bar/restaurant that is open to all types of people, having music blasting profanities and vulgarities is not a good marketing tool.

It was National Margarita Day, so they were busier than usual. Been here several times before. Service has always been great, and the food well worth the time. Tonight the food was cold, and the service was sketchy. We had the bartender as our waitress, and she was running back and forth so much she didn’t give her tables much attention. Should have planned more staff on a special night such as this.

This place is pretty cool. It just opened up and needs a little tweaking. We went for the $ 1 taco night. FYI, you can only get«street style» chicken tacos on corn tortillas for the $ 1 deal. Street style is meat, onions, and cilantro. The tacos were comically small. They were almost smaller than the palm of my hand. They were tasty, but the size was surprising. On the other hand, we ordered the Jefe nacho appetizer, which was way bigger than expected. They served the nachos on paper that they placed on the table instead of a plate.(Odd, but no big deal) I’m always happy when you can get plastic, dishwasher safe cups to take home. Thanks Pink Parrot! The only thing I would do differently is out queso on the nachos instead of shredded cheese. The shredded cheese got a bit waxy after it cooled off. I would like the option for fresh jalepenos. The ones they served were the preserved kind, that, to me, are more like pickles. Overall, it’s got a really fun environment, and I appreciated the 2000’s music from my teens.

My friends and I went here for happy hour on Friday evening. The service was great and the $ 3 margarita’s were delicious. I definitely plan on going back

Went here for lunch today. The tea was super weak! Asked for a different drink, the waitress was really nice about it and gladly replaced it and also didn’t charge us for it. The food was really good. I enjoyed the SW egg rolls. So good! Will likely return! It was also freezing balls in there.

My husband and I really like this new little place! The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. The food is great. We’ve had the nachos(amazing!!!), street tacos(pork was my favorite), wings(hubby ordered and really liked them), veggie wrap(delicious, big and healthy!), and the SW egg rolls(hubby ordered and enjoyed these, too). We haven’t had a bad food item or experience, and between the two of us, we’ve been there 10+ times. The prices are really reasonable, too. There are TV’s all around and a decent amount of seating. I think many people think it will be like the Pink Parrot downtown/Bricktown area with the same name. I’ve never been to PP downtown(doesn’t look like my type of vibe based upon the website), but this place has a larger menu and is more family-friendly. One of these days I’m going to break down & try the churros!

It was a slow start. How can you not be prepared on a Friday night with a new liquor license and the only cool place on May Avenue. Then the redemption! The dust settled and we were rollin. pork street tacos great flavor. Beer cold and the cutest place ever. See you soon!

Every single item on the menu is awesome. My personal go-to meal is the tacos(street style) chicken on corn tortillas. You do have an option of flower, which are also really good. I have a lot of questions about food and how it is prepared(which happens to be fresh every single day) and the manager & staff were pretty well educated about everything and didn’t act annoyed that I had so many questions. Which was helpful! I admit I typically get fries with my tacos and they are awesome too! Since we are being honest, I get their Churros with ice cream more times than I care to admit. They just opened their call ahead Togo orders which you can walk in or pick-up at the window. That will be trouble for me! My office used them to cater our company Holiday Party last night and used their downtown location to host the party for our 30+ person office and everyone had a great time. The food/presentation was perfect! Bottom line… I give them 5+ stars because they nail it on all aspects of what they offer! Affordable, quality food, convenient and their customer service is on point! One last thing… beer, wine & liquor will be available starting 12⁄24 which means you can finally have a margarita with your street tacos! They will definitely keep seeing me!

Nice new place in NWOKC. Non-smoking place with good amount of seating. Menu is currently a bit limited, but I’ve been twice and had all their different street tacos.(Beef was my personal favorite). Most traditional street tacos I’ve eaten have 2 thin corn tortillas vs the 1 here, but that’s only a minor detail in my mind. Good flavor and a pretty good value as street tacos go. Threesome appetizer(Chips, Queso, Salsa & a scoop of Guacamole) is a tad pricey to me at $ 9, but plenty to share between 2 people. Service has been top notch both visits.(Attentive, friendly and good attitude). I hope they get everything they are working on expanded soon. Worth stopping by if your in the area IMO.
