The Skunk Whisperer Wildlife & Pest Control

Two years ago, I would have given a rave review of this company. We had an opossum stuck in our crawl space. They created a «one-​way door» for the animal to exit and not return through. Then, according to our receipt, made all of the recommended repairs and we were good to go. However, a year later, we had to call them again. We have since been given nothing but the run around. We had them out again this summer and got the same story we got the last time they were out. They place sticks and things inside the places that I suggest might be entrance points and tell me that there is no way an animal could get through there. After a long conversation this morning with the company’s Vice President, Ned, I am filing a report with the better business burea. He emailed photos to my husband stating that they recommended we pull our deck up and that work in that area. This is a COMPLETE falsehood. I specifically suggested this area to them from the very beginning and was assured by them that this was not the issue. Once I explained that, the Vice President himself changed his story and now began to use the photo to suggest that he could not see an entry point in this area either and that perhaps something has changed since the photo was taken. I reminded him that they were just here in July and asked if he believed something had changed so drastically in such a short amount of time. He then condescended to me and asked if I realized that homes shift and change. We have spent thousands of dollars with these folks and I feel that, though we are obviously out a lot of money, others ought to be informed of the unscrupulous business practices of this company. We had a friend warn us about this company before, but we went with them anyway out of desperation. I recommend you not do the same.

I know these are fine people, they’ve done plenty of work for relatives, and been painted many colors on TV. Remember, TV magic isn’t alway good magic:/
