Really? Target, I want to like you for your cute stuff and good marketing, but I just can’t come here anymore. How do you think lines this long on a Saturday, which are ALWAYS expected, are ok? I don’t even have this issue with Walmart, which is sayin something. Second, you are out of half of the things on my list. You might say it’s because it’s Saturday, but it also happens on Tuesdays and Thursdays… and any other time I show up. If I so continue to shop at Target, I assure you it won’t be this one. I’m not sure I’d you’re aware but in this local community, you have a reputation for being low or out of inventory with long lines, a LOT.

I have been a Quail Springs Target shopper for years. However, I think that I am done. Over the past year, the QS Target only has stocked about 50% percent of what I need. The aisles are barren especially on the weekend.. Large store with no inventory on the shelves. My kids laugh about the number of items Target is out of. I see facebook pictures of people posting empty shelves at this Target. The frustration is having to go to either another grocery store or Walmart to purchased the required items. I have never been a Walmart fan but when I go they have all of my items. I have heard from countless friends that they are no longer shopping at the QS Target for this reason. They are driving into Edmond to that Super Target because it is well stocked. I refuse to drive that far when Walmart or Crest is closer. Anyway, the store manager must get on top of this. Yet, even after complaints nothing has been done. Another annoyance is during checkout. The checker(obvisouly scripted) will ask, «did you find everything you were looking for.» I respond with a «no» and proceed to tell the checker what I could not find. Blank stare in return!!! Ridiculous. Don’t ask if I had shopping problems and then don’t respond when I inform you of those problems. No offer whatsoever to help.

When you want free recipes and you want to work on your cart-driving skills, visit this location! I stopped by this store on a Monday with the wife and the aisles were full of stuff! Literally, I had to kick stuff out of the way to get my cart through. I don’t come here often so I said to my wife, «you suppose this is there stock or cleanup day?» My wife – who frequents this location – says, «No, it’s always like this.» I was surprised but I took it as a challenge to maneuver my cart around all the obstacles. At checkout, there were very long lines and we had 3 people in front of us. Our cashier’s curiosity was peaked when he scanned a particular food item of a lady 3 people in front of us. So, he stops scanning and starts asking the customer what she’s cooking with said food item. Then they take a few moments to exchange some cooking ideas! Ahhh! By the time I got up there, I kept my head down so he wouldn’t ask me what I was going to make with my food items since I had people behind me trying to get on with their day. The thing about this Target is that you can’t beat the prices on some things and it’s in a great location.

It’s the mega mother Target. If you can’t get it here, you surely don’t need it. I grab a coffee at Starbucks, a cart & wander along knowing that not only am I getting what I need, and picking up groceries — I am entertaining myself with the overload of STUFF to look at. And who needs a treadmill? This place is so huge you just take off in any direction, and you will get your daily 10,000 needed steps in no time. I hate malls. I love mega Target.

Confession time: I love Target. I really do. When this Super Target location opened up on my side of town, I squealed like a giddy schoolgirl. If the apartments right down the street weren’t so seedy looking, I would have moved there just to be closer to my beloved Target store. The Wal-Mart down the street can’t even compare. You can get everything from greeting cards to shampoo to soy milk to fake Ugg boots to bamboo bedsheets here. They usually have a decent selection of cute, cheap shoes and you can’t beat Target for stocking up on plain long-sleeved t-shirts. I have a few necklaces from here which I always get compliments on. Quality isn’t always stellar(an acrylic sweater fuzzed up like you wouldn’t believe) but for the price, you really can’t complain. Also a good clearance section too. As far as food goes, they have a good fresh fruits & veggies section as well as a well-stocked frozen foods section. Lots of interesting teas and cocoas. Plus, their fresh sushi isn’t half bad– better than some of the restaurants I’ve tried. The pet supplies section is well stocked also with a good range of pet foods and litters. The only reason this Target isn’t five star is because I’ve had an issue with the film developing department before(the person supposed to work hadn’t showed up and everyone else was clueless and not in any rush to assist me).
