The Sunday brunch buffet was pretty disappointing. It isn’t necessarily the fault of the restaurant, but the mall in general is deserted. During the hour or so that we were there, there were only a couple other groups doing the buffet. So it raises the question of how much can the restaurant really invest in providing a robust buffet experience if they have no customers? The best part of the buffet was the omelet station, which is alarming since it is a $ 28 buffet. The staff were attentive and the mimosas were cheap, but I just can’t see the buffet improving if they don’t get higher volume.

Very mediocre. My meal began with a very fishy(almost rancid) Caesar salad delivered on a warm plate. My entrée, the«Long Island Duckling» was undercooked and flavorless. My significant other ordered the veal, which was also less than stellar – but at least edible. For $ 86 pre-gratuity I would expect a more positive experience. The décor is tasteful and the staff were pleasant granting Rococo’s at Northpark two stars.

Service was a little off that day. Slow, but not horrible. Food was great. Fresh made waffles were fantastic. My wife had a billion of them.

My husband and I went for brunch. It was mediocre. The food was okay, but nothing special. The brunch was a buffet and a little highly priced($ 25). We will try this place again for dinner and hopefully it will be a better experience.

The food was delicious, but I was not a fan of the environment. The music was beautiful, by way too loud. I felt like I spent my entire meal yelling so others could hear me. It was quite pricey.

I have to say I hate giving less than five stars, but I know Unilocalers need honesty. The two stars are almost completely for the taste. We ordered two expensive dishes — the jumbo crab cake(market price) and the Fisherman’s Stew($ 45). And we had bread with some dipping garlic oil in the beginning. All three items were not great. I was really disappointed. The crab cake had a carmelized coconut taste, which I didn’t like. And the broth that flavored the entire stew was not to my liking either. It tasted kind of yeasty. The bread could have been any $ 3 white rolls from Target and the dipping oil was almost tasteless. I left feeling bloated, unsatisfied, and sad that we spent so much on a meal when we can only afford going out once every two weeks. The place was decorated in a plush, dark red vampire décor, which was okay but seemed a bit forced, and I sort of felt I was in some sort of musty cave. The waitstaff was really nice. The music was kind of horrible old school/dated music. I’m sure this place has great intentions, and maybe it is just my personal palate and music preference, but great seafood I did not find. I wish I would have liked this place more, but I didn’t. I’m so sorry!

In my book this is the best brunch spot in Okc. The variety of choices are amazing. It’s a must.

One of our favorite places to eat in okc. Food never disappoints. The nightly specials are fantastic. Best crab cakes in okc. 2nd best mojito I’ve had in okc. Very good Caesar salad. Excellent service and wait staff. Oysters are very good as well. I guess if I had to find a negative it would be that it’s a tad pricey.

This has become a good to place for dinner with our parents. I love the mushroom soup, maybe because it has the best sliced crostini with melted Brie cheese on it. The quality is always good and servers friendly. Watch out, the portions are BIG.

My wife and I and two other couples celebrated a birthday with dinner at Rococo’s. We were greeted warmly by a delightful young woman and shown to our seats. The waiter came to the table promptly and was very helpful and friendly. We each had a couple of cocktails, some appetizers and, of course, dinner. The drinks and food were all excellent. The waiter even brought a free dessert to the birthday boy. We paid the bill and continued to talk and finish our drinks. To that point, it had been a delightful evening. I want to note that there was an empty 6 top immediately behind us and no line of people waiting for a seat. I’ll admit we lingered a bit, but we also paid some pretty good sized tabs. As we chatted, our waiter came to our table and snidely told us that we could stay all might if we wanted, and if we washed some dishes, he’d knock some money off the tab. I made light of it, but it really ticked all of us off. I waited tables in the past and I never would have dreamed of being so rude to a customer, especially after getting a 20% tip. It turned a five star experience into a three star experience. The food is the only reason I did not go down to one star.

Went there for a special occasion, great atmosphere, really great dishes, took one star away since it’s way overpriced to my opinion. Maui poke was outstanding as were the fish we ordered.

My spouse and I had the most wonderful experience dining at Rococo Northpark, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The service was absolutely wonderful, the ambiance was just what we were looking for: quiet, romantic, and cozy. It was a perfect experience from the minute we walked in. But what really put our experience over the top was the food! I am a vegetarian and too often, going to upscale restaurants means either a) I have maybe one or(rarely) two total options to choose from or b) apologetically asking our server to modify a dish. You feel tolerated but not really welcome, you know? Rococo Northpark has –get this– an entire special plant-based menu. This kind of care and attention to what must be a small part of the audience felt welcoming and luxurious.(Although I don’t eat gluten free, I should mention that both the standard and plant-based menus included many GF options as well.) I had the coriander crusted tofu in a spicy ginger sauce and my wife had a chicken Marsala– both of us were extremely pleased! Also I should mention that the cocktails were on point– my wife likes a dirty martini and has had mixed results at different places: she kept raving about hers! My French 75 was great as well: compliments to the bartender! I know this is a gushing review, but I can’t say enough positive things about out experience here!

Have to say that when I wrote my review I don’t think there was a difference in names for the original Rococos and the newer Northpark one. My previous review was based on occurrences at the new, posh one. I noticed that after a group of us decided to go back to Rococo Restaurant & Fine Wine the chef/owner Bruce commented on my previous review about things being better. Well ok, I had written the review in a low-key negative manner but since the real complaint was never addressed I shall spell it out: We used to LOVE Rococo on Penn, it became our ‘local’, must have been there at least once a week for ages. Then North Rococo opened. We went there a couple of times though preferred the ambiance at the original site. Bruce started a Chef’s Table at Rococo North and a group of us had a fun Birthday celebration there in the kitchen. We were by now pretty familiar with all the staff and Bruce and they with us. The next birthday we booked the Chef’s Table again. It’s a double birthday celebration as Rococos knew by now. When we get there we’re told there’s been a double booking, some business friends/patrons had also booked. After looking into it they found we had the reservation, but Bruce came over and explained that the business people were very important and had donated 4 ½ thousand or something and could we, would we mind … Disappointed but nice, we had our birthdays at a cramped table in the restaurant. Bruce, the bartender et al told us they would make it up to us, various ways etc. We never heard a peep from anyone again until we decided to go back to Rococos at Penn for Mother’s Day last year. Bruce was there and came to the table to say hello. I was not friendly. I suppose he wrote his reply to my original review then. But still not a word about shoving aside then ignoring regular customers who ate and drank AND tipped very well. So that’s why my previous review was short and unfriendly. We still miss going to Rococo at Penn, they’re overpriced but yes they DO have the best lump crabcakes I’ve had. But we just aren’t comfortable there anymore, it all feels superficial now that we know how they act when the chips are down.

Crab cakes are excellent. Pricey but excellent. I’ve been to this restaurant several times and am always pleased and very full. Alfredo is divine. I wanted to lick the bowl. Nice atmosphere. Terrific service. Good restaurant in Okc.

This is a great date night out for my wife and me. The food is always fantastic, and there seems to always be exciting chefs specials on the weekend. Live music at times and comfortable low-key atmosphere. If possible ask for Maverick as your server. He is a great professional.

I gotta tell ya, Unilocal,I was recently shaken by an accusation from someone who will remain nameless that giving a certain local restaurant a poor review meant I was a low-class, unsophisticated rube who didn’t understand quality because I was obviously too poor to know what fine dining is supposed to be like. I was sobbing into my pillow, writing it all down in my diary,* when suddenly I realized: What about Rococo?! I mean, sure, they’re not insanely fancy, but we had an event there awhile ago where they served edible flowers!^ We went back for brunch as a UYE a few weeks ago, and the food was just as good as at the event. For me, Rococo epitomizes a restaurant that is trying for very high quality cooking, and if it doesn’t always work, at least you will never find yourself bored.(And using good quality ingredients can cover quite a few goofs, too.) The cookies are, of course, Rococo’s signature dish. You must have one. It would be perfectly acceptable to stop reading this and have one right now, but be warned that it’s not what you think.(It’s better: Savory amazingness.) You can also stick with what I can’t help but think of as «northeastern standards» and you won’t go wrong either. I’ll admit, I’m a bit partial to the small location near OCU as compared to this one at Northpark. But either way, you can’t go wrong. A fantastic place for brunch, and even better for dinner. * Well first I had to run to Wal-Mart, still sobbing all the while, to buy a diary. I got one with kittens on it. ^ And honestly, they weren’t that good. Okay, maybe there is something to that nameless accuser’s insults. But the rest of the food at the event was solid!

My first experience here was at a rather excellent Elite event, and I finally was able to return to properly get a feel for it. A group of friends and I came here for their cruise-style brunch and it did not disappoint. There was certainly something there for everyone as far as I’m concerned. I’ll do a shotty job here to list the tables and whatnots on them. One table hosted an omelette station with plenty of fixins. There was an omelette of the day, which changes every brunch. I imagine the fixins don’t change so you can make whatever omelette you desire. On the same table there were also biscuits and gravy and some grits. I loved my omelette and the biscuit was good, but the grits were rather plain and tasted mostly like butter. Another table had hot pans with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, some warm pasta, and one or two other things I can’t recall. Everything I tried there was solid. The third table in the same room had small bites such as crackers and cheese and meats, a cold pasta salad, fruit and vegetables, and a clam chowder that was rather good! The last table was composed mostly of dessert type breakfast food, such as waffles, French toast, and also cupcakes. Though, it also had the day’s featured dishes which consisted of some sort of chicken and rice. Some of the food rotates on brunch so it’s not all the same. Had a mimosa, as well, and it was very tasty. The quality of champagne they use is great. tl;dr: I want to go to there. Again.

I came, I saw, I conquered Sunday brunch. Well, maybe not conquer, but I did eat a lot of delicious food. This rating is based off brunch alone, and daammmn, it was good. There’s so many tables and spreads that it was almost overwhelming! If my memory serves me right, there was an «appetizer» table with fruits, cheese, shrimps, crackers, etc., a brunch table with eggs, fancy mac n cheese, breakfast potatoes, another table set up with folks to make omelets in front of you, a bloody mary bar, and allllll the way in the back room, a dessert table with muffins, cakes, and folks ready to make you some waffles! I’m sure the food changes up, but seriously, the spread was Amazing. My only quibble was that the scrambled eggs were wee bit too runny for my liking. And prepare to stretch the bank a little bit because all that food is about $ 22 a head and that’s before coffee and mimosas! Don’t let that scare you away though. The food is so worth it. For drinks, I recommend the Ruby Red mojito, which is a mojito made with grapefruit juice. SO. GOOD. Let’s just say Rococo does brunch Right.
