Every time I eat here I want to kick myself for not coming here more often ! The food is always great no matter what I get. It’s obvious talented chefs are preparing the food here! I have never been disappointed. everything tastes like it is their specialty!

Okay, I’ll be honest. Sometimes, I will upload a picture of my food and give a rating based on my experience during the meal and then forget to come back and finish my draft for so long, that I forget the specifics of my visit. All I see is a picture of some tasty looking food and rating that I must have felt was fair based on my experience, usually sometime near the end of my meal. Well, this is one of those times… sorry! But, a four is what I was thinking while I was eating, so a four it must have been. cheers!

While dinner was mostly good, and I’ve visited ten times or so the past few months, the service and lack of line level staff management only gets worse. Kevin was our server. When we sat he came to the table and just stared. No words. Only staring. I asked for two waters. And he walked away. Later the waters were served. Our drinks ran dry for most of the meal. Kevin let our dirty dishes remain with us the entirety of our meal. When I asked for the check Kevin brought a to go bag, and stacked to go boxes with the check presenter on top and walked away. Again. No words were exchanged, save a «thank you», from me. Best of luck. The manager didn’t appear interested when I tried to ask her to help refill my water. Oh well. Thankfully, there are many dining options now in our great city. I’ll just have to steer clear of this one!

Decent food. Great service from Salvador. Easy to get a table on a Friday night. Great prices. I would go back.

Food: 5⁄5 Service: 2⁄5 Cleanliness: 5⁄5 Décor & Style: 5⁄5 Very good pizza! Top 4 pizza place in the city, IMO. 5 stars overall because it’s one of the nicer restaurants in a mall, oh, and the only bar in the mall ;) Although, I guess alcohol & shopping does not bode too well together ;( Service was slow!

It’s a mall restaurant, and for that, it’s pretty good. I hadn’t eaten here in years until recently my mom and I were shopping one weeknight and figured somewhere in the mall was our easiest option. She had a margherita pizza and I had the tortellini with a pesto cream sauce, both had Caesar salads as well. Nothing blew my mind, but it tasted good and the service was VERY fast(I think they were about to close so our server was trying to get us out quickly, but I’m not complaining). I would by no means seek this place out for some great Italian food, but it’s a decent, convenient place to eat if you’re shopping at Penn Square.

Wow, how the formerly acceptable have fallen. Or maybe when I was younger I just liked cheap balsamic and barely competent waitstaff. No, I think at one time this place was good. Boy are those days over. The calamari, a dish which can be full of flavour, crisp on the outside but tender and succulent on the inside here was, well none of the above. You ever get those«hand dipped» onion rings where you never really taste onion, it’s just acres of batter? Well start there kids. Follow that with our fishy buddy’s legs having been beaten all to heck in an attempt to tenderize them. Never mind the only two things which will make them tender are very quick or very, very slow cooking. Instead the chef here seems to have gone for a, «let’s hope they only want to taste batter», attitude. And even that could get a pass if the batter wasn’t just flour. Italian food, known the world over for tasting like cardboard. Yay. When I think of chicken Marsala I think of a chicken breast braised with garlic butter and then slid into a Marsala wine glasse with a selection of mushrooms, especially a shiitake and maybe some oysters to give it a little earthy flavour. I like to think of the sauce as having enough body to accent an angel hair pasta but not need anything over a spaghetti to cling to. In this case, the chef once again left me in a miasma of mysterious misery. The chicken was prepped to be chicken parmigiana. It was two dainty pieces of chicken, breaded and then let sit in what must have been last weeks garlic butter. This was then tossed into a skillet, heated above room temp. And tossed with some button mushrooms onto inch wide egg noodles. Yumtastic. To accent all of this sumptuous delight, yet another example of someone working in the service industry who has no understanding of what the word, «service», means. My drink was brought to the table in those stupid little pitchers restaurants use when they know their waitstaff can’t handle a wine service and are too cheap to hire a sommelier. The«server» plunked the glass onto the table and the dropped the wine from the micro carafe into the goblet, if one will allow for that stretching of the term, before not waiting an instant and running off. He pushed another server out of his way in his haste. This was not my server’s only gaffe as he also took my credit card, tried to clear all of the plates, apparently took them all to the dishwashing station and arrived at the two POS stations in the entire restaurant in time to be third in line where he stood, looking surly and pouty. There’s a chance this place is better if you like Pepsi and just order the pizza, but I could do that at Pizza Hut.

This place has been in Penn Square as long as I can remember, and yet somehow I’ve managed never to eat there before my Mother and I met for lunch the other day. I really enjoyed the food. Our server was nice — she wasn’t great, but everything else about the restaurant we enjoyed. I had the chicken portobello wrap with their pasta salad on the side and my Mom had the Mediterranean vegetable salad. My wrap was messy but delicious and my Mom really enjoyed her salad. Their bread was warm, soft and delicious. We had to resist the urge to eat the whole loaf.

Went today for lunch, little slow. The food was good, and nice that it is located in the mall!

I was extremely disappointed with this place. First off, the bread that comes while you wait for the meal was nothing but just plain old white bread. Nothing Italian or interesting about it at all. The dip with it was just oil. Again, not very exciting. Nothing there that sets them apart. When my italian nachos came, I was terribly disappointed. They were extremely dry and had waaaaaay to much cheese. Within five minutes, the cheese wasn’t hot anymore and there was just this solidified, cold block of greasy cheese on my plate. Gross. The service wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either. Cleanliness was ok but nothing impressive. Over all, I can get tastier food and smilier service for a much cheaper place at Johnny Carinos or Olive Garden. We won’t be back.
