Support local businesses. We got a yummy yogurt parfait with fresh fruit and granola along a caramel macchiato with almond milk. It was very yummy. Super cute little Christian coffee shoppe :)

Been here 2 days in a row if that’s any indication how great this place is. The cardamom latte is soooo good. I’ve had it both hot and cold at this point, and they’re both delicious. This morning I stopped in to try their breakfast. Got the shaved ham and cheese biscuit. Amazing. Biscuit was flaky and had a nice crunch on the top. I may come back on Monday!

Today I was in the mood for cardamom coffee latte, star anise and almond biscotti, and a snickerdoodle. I felt a bit naughty since it was akin to raiding grandma’s spice rack. Wonderful staff and a cute little place that is quite large on the inside. Too lazy to step out of your car, no problem, take the drive through. Great selection of drinks, food and fatty pastry. All were delightful and worth coming back. Lots of parking and a classical modern and inviting interior.

Higher Ground Coffee Shop makes a good brewed coffee and an excellent, traditional macchiatto. The macchiatto has good flavor and a velvety texture. I tasted a smooth, smoky nut and light chocolate notes. Had a low acidity and great crema. I’d recommend visiting and trying a white chocolate and apricot scone too. The employees are friendly as well which adds to a nice atmosphere.

Finally! A great coffee shop that’s close to home. I’m usually having to travel 10+ miles to get a good cup, but no longer! I haven’t tried the food yet, but I’m sure it’s great though. I had the cardamom latte, and it tasted almost like what my mom makes when she makes chai tea at home. The only thing missing is a good pour-over, but from what I’ve been told, they have plans for that as well. Great coffee, great environment, and great customer service! It’s probably going to become one of my coffee usual spots.

This is honestly now in my top 3 places to grab coffee and relax!(In no particular order; Café Evoke, Vintage Coffee, and now Higher Grounds!) Super relaxing environment, they have a conference room, the baristas are very kind, and they know the menu like the back of their hands, I was very impressed and will be back!

I love this shop! I’ve been to this shop several times and have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the brewed coffee is my favorite of all that I’ve had in OKC. They have delicious scones and pastries, and the atmosphere is also great! I definitely recommend this cute coffee shop as a place to stop by when you need a study break, date, or just some good coffee.

I’m so happy to have this so close to or house. The coffee is excellent, and an extensive menu provides everything from toast to pastries and hot breakfast items. I came in on Saturday for lunch and had a delicious ham and cheese sandwich, plus a bite of the pot pie special and split a slice of coconut cream pie with my sweetie. Everything was fresh, came out quickly and at the perfect temperature and was of the highest quality. I also co-worked here on a chilly morning last week and enjoyed the cozy fire place, the large bar with plenty of power outlets and fast WiFi. I must admit, I avoided it for a while because I’m also a little wary of businesses that are Christian. I’m just always afraid it’s going to be too in your face or feel more like a church than a good place to take meetings and get work done. I’m also always a bit concerned that mixing commerce with Christianity is a dangerous deal. But, this place gets two things very right: 1) I’m sure there are people there working on devotionals or preparing Sunday school lessons. But honestly I’ve been in the MacArthur Starbucks before when there was more in-your-face Church stuff happening.(Like the Nazarene youth pastor giving pre-marital counseling to two 20 year olds– super awkward!) They have a small little conference room that may be better for these purposes, and less disruptive to other customers. 2) They seem to walk the walk, as all the food is made by women who are part of a ministry to the prisons, and this is a work program so women who are getting out of prison will have a good job to transition into. If they’re filling that very real need in our community, I will support them loudly and proudly.

It is seldom I leave my «bubble» of The Paseo and The Asian District, but this one is definitely worth the trip out west! Nestled in an unassuming strip of shops, Higher Grounds is deceptive from the outside. Inside is an inviting space with a hand-written chalk board wall menu behind a large open kitchen staffed with friendly faces happy to please. Do not be intimidated by the selection –the food and drink specialists will guide you to a decision and gladly make suggestions to accompany your beverage. And customization is the name of the game here. Make a substitution or variation on one of the classics and they nary bat an eye. Make sure to try out some of the excellent baked goods — fresh and mouthwatering. There are plenty of chairs that surround the roaring fireplace(a welcome addition on the chilly morning we visited!) as well as ample counter and table space for relaxation with a book or getting some work done in a relaxed atmosphere. Also a welcome addition: plenty of charging stations for those increasingly necessary electronics! But don’t let your work interfere too much with your enjoyment of the delightful comestibles — this cozy shop could soon become another home away from home.

Super chill place in Ware Acres. As a resident I’m thrilled! We’ve needed a place like this. Now I have a place to ride my bike to for coffee!

Have been here a few times since I have lived in OKC& this is my go-to coffee shop! Adorable setting for just chilling out & reading or getting coffee with friends. Cozy atmosphere with a fireplace. Good prices too. The chocolate orange scones are my favorite!

This is a quality coffee shop. They are not trying to be Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. They are who they are. The furniture includes regular tables and chairs, as well as sofas. You can sit by the gas log fireplace if you like. When I got there at 9:00 am on a Saturday morning, I walked right up to the counter and placed my order for regular brewed coffee. I brought my own travel mug from home. I filled it up before I left because they do free refills. With a $ 1 off coupon from a local coupon circular, I paid less than $ 1.25 for my coffee. Those that want breakfast, brunch, or lunch can get that here. They have a good sized menu of things to try. Their biscuits must be pretty tasty because they ran out of biscuits before I left at 10:30 am. On top of all this goodness, a percentage of the proceeds help out Christian mission projects. I don’t think it gets much better than that.

I went there with a co-worker before work and had the biscuits & sausage. It was fantastic. The biscuits were thick and the gravy had big chunks of sausage in it. My friend tried the ham & cheese melt biscuit. He said it was really good. He finished it in record time, I bet! The pies, brownies & other baked goods looked awesome. I’m honestly not a coffee fan, but they have plenty to offer the non coffee drinker along side their huge list of coffee drinks. I’ll be back for a hot chocolate and piece of pie next time. Maybe even for breakfast!
