doesn’t look and definitely doesn’t taste like the other falafel salads I’ve had in the past from here so I’m quite disappointed. no flavor, no other vegetables. it seems it’s very hard for OKC restaurants to be consistent with using the same lettuce and quality of salad. the meat is still delicious though! however, cous cous is not what it used to be

Excellent place. I ate this amazing Chicken Bastilla. A Bastilla is a phylo meat pie covered in powdered sugar and cinnamon. A Moroccan classic. It sounds weird, but like all Moroccan dishes the sweet and savory play perfectly together. I highly recommend this place. Also they their lamb tagines!

Best tagines in the state — no doubt about it. Modest prices; friendly staff. Limited parking.

Called to order to go, and the guy who answered was incredibly rude. i didn’t like the way he was speaking to me, it was like I was an immediate inconvenience to him. And after going in there a few times, this experience has definitely persuaded me to never return again.

My wife wanted a gyro and we heard that this place was indeed another hidden gem that caters to Moroccan cuisines. The whole menu looked very appetizing and the prices were great considering they served a lot of lamb dishes, which lamb can be a little costly depending where you go. We both took the combo of pita, tzatziki, rice wrapped in grape leaves and falafels. Our main entre, normally we order differently to try as much as possible, but we were both in the mood for the gyro. It was amazing, very fresh and tasty. We both also shared the tea in which their famous for. It was very warm and soothing. If you like Moroccan food, this is a place to definitely come to. I’ll return to try other things on the menu. Everything I listed here came to a total of $ 21 and change. Not bad for a full and delicious meal for two.

I… still like this place… Sort of? At one point, I was eating here on a weekly basis, but lately it’s just… not that impressive. I keep meaning to take pictures to prove my point, but I don’t so… I guess you’ll have to take my word for it. They’re getting very chintzy about everything. It’s almost starting to feel like they’re in the back counting out pieces of meat for your meal. The burritos were my most frequent fix for lunch, but they seem to be taking a page from Chipotle lately because the burritos are overloaded with rice, with little to no hummus, and then you have the strategically placed pieces of meat that leave you feeling lucky if you get at least one in every bite. «Maybe I’ll give the kofta kabob a shot?» I thought. So I ordered that. Only to discover that they will slice the already thin kabob in half to split between the burritos. «Maybe lamb and kofta kabobs are expensive, so that’s why they’re being so tight-fisted?» So I decided to give the Gyro Burrito a shot. Nope. Still as tight-fisted. «Maybe I need to try the regular Gyro Sandwich instead of the burrito? There’s no rice in that.» Meh. Still stingy. Gyro meat isn’t that expensive, you Cous Cous guys. Stop being so parsimonious. Also, their gyro meat has an old and almost crunchy quality with how dried out it is(check some of the pictures and you’ll see what I’m talking about). The price is relatively cheap, so I guess there’s some solace in that you’re not paying a lot for your rice burrito. But even at around $ 6, it’s still… a rice burrito… The last three times have left me feeling kinda burned, and I’m probably going to be staying away for a while. I used to recommend this place for lunch all the time. Now I never mention it, because the last few visits have left my lunch mates largely disappointed(and me mildly embarrassed) with my choice. I’m a little sad to know(when looking at old reviews and such) that my love affair with Cous Cous Café has come to an end. Thankfully I’m still getting my money’s worth at Mediterranean Imports, Gyros By Ali, and Gyro City Café. And just like that, my sad feelings are gone.

They treat black people like second class citizens I went 3xs and every time the food was decent but the waitress are passive and ignore black people I did a experiment and went with some white co workers and they came in 15 mins after us but was served before us and when our food came it was skimpy we compared each other’s dish and it was significantly more the food is okay but the atmosphere is horrible for the BLACK demographic although they aren’t even white just Arab of so. e decent Moroccan I believe

First time here on Saturday. Portions were wonderful could probably be two meals. Meat was so tender and fall of the bone goodness. I loved how long it took to order it and then receive it and smelling it on the way home was wonderful. Can’t wait to go and eat there again.

Love it. It’s a small place and the wait can take a while depending on what you order but it’s worth it. From their tagine to their gyro sandwich to their desserts, everything is delicious, we’ll priced and generously served. Add a unique environment and I’m sold! It’s one of my favorites!

I wouldn’t trade Camilya’s for Cous Cous, but it is definitely worthy of regular visits. I had the lamb kabob burrito, which is not something I’ve seen since my days in California. It was delicious with the sauce they provided. The people I were with ordered a gyro, and the lamb tagine. Both looked delicious and the gyro was jam-packed full of meat. We also ordered the hot tea, which was very soothing.

One of my favorite Mediterranean places to eat. Usually I’ll just grab a gyro for something quick but their platters are filling! Plus their desserts that they have waiting for you to choose are pretty delicious.

Favorite stuffed grape leaves in town(other than the ones from my own kitchen). Love this place for fairly authentic Moroccan fare — hummus, falafel, lamb tagine are all great. I will warn you about the customers, though. They range from loud hipsters to patchouli reeking vegans. Get your order to go if you don’t want to cry over the anemic emaciated kids eating nothing but rice from their veg head parent’s plates.

Note: This review is based solely on my drive through experience. So, on a hunt for some fast food on a Friday night that didn’t require me getting out of my car(sorry, I was being a little lazy after a long day) I decided to go with Cous Cous. My sister bought me something back from here one day and it was really good plus I live near and noticed they had a drive through. Anyway there’s 5 things I want to cover. 1. It’s not like your average drive through where you see pics on a fluorescent menu and speak into an intercom. It’s very simple. One window– you pay, wait about 10mins(or less), get your food and go! Cool right? 2. If you’re a picture person like me and need to see a pictured menu then please review the pictures posted in advance so you’ll know what you want because the menu the young lady handed me wasn’t very helpful. Luckily I had been salivating over the Lamb burrito pictured. 3. The cost was super reasonable for Moroccan/Mediterranean food. I’m used to needing to spend 15 – 20 dollars to get full– and maybe have some leftovers. Well, I paid 6.45 here for a pretty hefty bag of food. 4. Customer service… It wasn’t bad… So I can’t deduct points for that. But I think I could give a better answer if I had went it. I’ll probably dine in soon. 5. Lastly, my favorite part… Talking about the food. So, when I opened my bag and got ready to dive in, I had burritos! TWOBURRITOS for 6 bucks. You cannot beat that. And they were great especially with that little cucumber sauce. I had one for dinner and one for lunch today! :) I’m a happy camper. Best wishes to you on your experience!

Nice little local café. Tried the falafel, which had great flavor and was just the right amount of crispy. Not overly fried tasting or too salty. I had a lamb kabob burrito, which has chunks of lamb, rice, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce inside a tortilla that’s lightly grilled. Delicious! And a lot of food for the price. My fiancé had a gyro combo which came with a gyro pita and fries. He said the gyro meat was flavorful and just as he expected it to be. We each got a unique almond cookie to try on our way out too — different but very tasty! I like this place because they are friendly, the food is good, it’s not overpriced, and it feels charming. Can’t wait to come back and try some of their veggie dishes!

The price is right and the food is… also right. I’m not much of a cunning linguist. The place is small and a little cramped but that’s nothing to worry about once you get that food in your mouth. They do takeout, too, so even better. The service is kind and on top of things. What I like about the menu is that there are descriptions for most of the food, which is good for me because there was a dish or two I hadn’t seen before. Enough of that, though. Food! I got one of many vegetarian combos available and it was delicious. I’m not a vegetarian in the slightest, but great Mediterranean places like this makes it seem less awful(and actually appetizing!). For $ 6, I got a platter of three decent sized portions of food: Falafel(5⁄5): For anyone that doesn’t eat much Mediterranean, you’d be surprised how easy it is to make a crappy falafel. So when you find a good one, hold onto it forever. The falafel at CC is perfectly cooked to be crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. It is definitely something I would get each time I go. Zarook(4⁄5): Zarook is a mashed eggplant dish that I was curious about, so why not? I’m glad I chose it as one of my three dishes, because it’s quite good. The combo comes with pita which is perfect for picking up the zarook, but it’s also plenty tasty on its own. Grape leaves/dolma(5⁄5): Grape leaves are a standard dish I use to judge quality from place to place. I have had so-so dolma, awful dolma, good dolma, and amazing dolma. At CC, it sits somewhere between good and amazing. The leaves were tightly wrapped and all of it was cooked and seasoned well. A few places I’ve been to overdo the cooking and the insides get all mushy(well, more mushy than it’s supposed to be!) but CC hits it right on the mark.

Upon walking in, the Mediterranean atmosphere is prevalent. The staff is very friendly, and polite. The best value on the menu is the burritos by far. With a in house made tortilla and fresh ingredients there is no beating the $ 5.99 price tag. The Moroccan tea is very flavorful. It might be weird to some but it fits the meal perfectly. The baklava is a perfect finish to a great dinner. Portions are spot on. They are enough food for the money while still not being wasteful. All in all a great place to eat. 5⁄5 stars

The first time I saw this place, I decided I needed to try it. I was just beginning my adventure in ethnic foods outside of Italian, take-out chinese, and pizza. At this time, it’s been awhile since I’ve been here, but at one point I thought the place was worthy of a 4 star review. The prices were pretty good and the food was pretty good as well. It wasn’t the best I had had in the city, so I didn’t frequent often, but I did come 3 or 4 times prior to 2014.
