I am OK with price jump of 40% in one year, still great products. It is however time to update the layout and checkout. I usually go Saturday mornings to avoid the lines, today was about 15 minutes line!, so I left. they are never ready early AM, they always run around looking for things, eventually people will stop coming since the customer experience sucks. Mr. Owner, You need to spend money in order to make money, hire some store designer and rearrange your layout so we can enjoy the place again. do not pop-up in the register for two seconds and leave, your customers will eventually leave as well.

This joint is a combination of grocery store/sit down deli. Food is great, pretty authentic Mediterranean style. I have a hard time branching out from the #10 Combo platter(gyro, pita, falafel, Greek salad, and spinach or meat pie). I would suggest stopping into the grocery section after a meal and check out the uncommon selection of goods. I usually get pitas, hummus, and kalamata olives to take home. Only thing I can think of as a detractor is a few times my Gyro meat has been lukewarm. Solid place for lunch though.

I love this place. It may be part of my normal weekend routine to at least stop in and pick something up… seriously…one of the few places I go to this frequently. There are so many good things to say, I don’t even know where to start… The delicious food or the great market? Hmmm… Lets start with the market… So what do you want? Cheese? Sure, take your pick from, oh, I don’t know, maybe like 100 different cheeses(Currently, I think the garlic Beemster is my favorite with the mustard seed Beemster or Manchego closely behind). They also have fresh Feta right at the counter. Want some fresh hummus or eggplant dip? Just head to the back fridge. Be sure to pick up one of the many kinds of pitas or flat breads to go with it. Make sure you check out of all the imported olives while your there too. Seriously, this place has so many things you cant find anywhere else. As far as the restaurant… I don’t think Ive tried anything that hasn’t been delicious. I could be wrong, but it seems like everything is homemade… Im a fool for homemade. Get a gyro… this isn’t the same beef/lamb blended thing you get at every. other. restaurant. This is actually like real chunks of meat. The salads are all delicious… I get the 4 salad plate(for $ 4.50!!!) and love a bite of bean salad with the tabouli Then maybe some cucumber salad or cous cous… yum. Ive recently tried their soups… just wow. The Minnestroni was fantastic and the lentil was unlike any other lentil Id ever had. It had a kind of lemon-y thing going on. So good. Don’t be surprised if you see the owner there greeting people… he always seems to be around. You can tell he loves the place and it shows up in the food. Seriously, if you haven’t been here, you need to slap yourself for being so foolish and go have lunch there. You wont be disappointed. And they aren’t expensive, so that’s no excuse!

Top notch! I had the combination plate, and a side of hummus/pita. The hummus was excellent, and the combination plate was one of the best I’ve ever had… and I eat Greek about once/week. The salad had great authentic Greek dressing, and the gyro meat was so juicy, unlike so many paces who’s is totally dried out. I will be back here every time I’m in town.

I love this place. The owner is very focused on making sure his employees are taking care of the customer. Their hummus and tabouli are AWESOME! I have purchased cheese and olives here as well. I highly recommend this place if you are wanting to cook your own Mediterranean food.

Some people might like this place but for me the German Potato Salad was gross, did not eat and the Bakliva had no taste at all and tasted to be a few days old. What I really don’t like is the kitchen, the area was open and you can see how unorganized it is and did not look clean. That’s all it takes to keep me away from there(the café area). Iam sure the store items are fine.

It’s like food heaven in here. Fresh meats, cheeses etc. mostly Mediterranean spices and condiments. Mostly awesome. Fresh herbs, tubs of olives, fresh hummus.

First off, super friendly customer service and welcoming. Felt like a family store/restaurant with interesting groceries. Me, not being extremely familiar with a lot of Mediterranean delicacies, items in the market looked like they’d be fun to try. I was on the fence as to whether to get the Combination or Vegetarian platter, and chose the later. I get the feeling I couldn’t of gone wrong with either. I do know and love Falafel and I must say that these were the best I’ve ever tasted! Had a little spice to them as well, BONUS! Was extra filling, but not an overwhelming portion which was perfect. My only complaint is that it’s not in my neck of the Woods!

5 years ago when I had my first taste of Mediterranean imports, it was amazing. Now… Not so much. It’s grocery section is pretty amazing and has many items I buy often. But this isn’t about the grocery. The food was all quite dry and overcooked. The gyro meat was cold and chewy, but quite tasty. The grape leaves had an odd texture… The kibbi, though, was as delicious as always. And their baklava is very tasty, especially for the price and the option. And their falafel is amazing and spicy. I do wish the hummus was a little different but that’s personal opinion. This is a great restaurant and I will always recommend it but there is better Mediterranean food in okc.

This review is just for the ordered/dine-in food and not the deli area/shop. Eh. It’s alright. Pretty affordable. Pita(2⁄5): It was thin and cold. Sad day. Mujaddara(3⁄5): Fairly okay dish. The flavor of the lentil mix was good but bordered on refried beans which is a weird way to describe it, I know. Tabouli(3⁄5): Nothing special about this tabouli but it wasn’t bad, either. Decent taste and all the ingredients you’d expect from a tabouli. Hummus(3⁄5): As a broken record goes round; eh, was okay. Falafel(4⁄5): The falafel was my favorite part of the meal. They came out warm and were delicious, but they were awfully little. Which was adorable, at least. Cabbage roll(2⁄5): I love cabbage rolls but this was completely flavorless and lukewarm. Grape leaves(3⁄5): Loosely packed and meh on flavor. Kibbi(2⁄5): It didn’t leave much of an impression on me. Bland but I liked the texture.

Tiny, but good. The falafel is my favorite in the city. The combo platters are a great way to sample it all and see what you like best. You can so pick up a variety of groceries here. The coffee selection is really nice. The owner makes it all from his recipes, we’ve been told. Delish!

This place has one of the best selection of meats and cheeses in OKC at excellent prices. You also have the option of ordering ahead of time. You can even pre-pay, that way all you have to do is run in and pick-up your order. This is a great feature for me, since I often order several items(maybe 5 – 10 meats/cheese) and it takes a while to slice everything so waits can be long if I run in. The owners are also nice and the young woman who worked at the deli was very nice and patient with me one day when I was ordering tons of different meats and cheeses right before close.

Excellent middle eastern grocery. Produce section not great but lovely olive bar and cheese selections. The humus is a perfect consistency which I get when I’m too lazy to make fresh.(It’s so easy — how can I be so lazy? :) Nice café but I’ve never tried it so can’t comment on it. Staff is helpful. It can be busy on Saturdays. This is the place to get stuffed grape leaves(dolmas), humus, tahini, feta for much less than Whole foods. The tabouli has a little too much parsley for my taste but then again I like more veggies and less parsley normally.

SIGH. It’s hard to adequately express my love for this place. Let’s start with the fact that the overgrown greenery surrounding the building makes it feel like a tiny oasis. A little secret Grecian getaway right in the middle of a bustling city. Upon entrance, the slight aroma of coffee and all things good in the world sort of wafts into your nostrils, preparing you for the taste carnival that is about to happen in your mouth. The coffee smell comes from the tiny, con-caved area that’s packed with whole coffee beans ready for grinding. Surprise! This place is also a Mediterranean grocery store chock full of culinary treats. Slice meats, sliced cheeses, olives, pita bread, beans, homos-tahini and more. You can also order a yummy lunch or early dinner. This place is serious about their kitchen closing at 6 p.m. The muajadra is my favorite thing. It’s a lentil, rice, and onion wonder that begs to be mixed with the homos or delicious house vinaigrette that is poured generously over the Greek salad. Don’t forget this place is super authentic which means THEREAREPITSINALLTHESCRUMPTIOUSOLIVES. Breaking a tooth is seriously a terrible way to end a lovely experience of eating and international grocery shopping. I’ve heard the falafel is the most delicious in the city. I’m a gluten-free baby so I stay away because wheat is added to the mixture, according to those that work there. Try one of the daily made salads. There’s a cucumber and tomato one with the house dressing and fresh dill, as well as a mozzarella ball and grape tomato salad. It’s just all really good. Lastly, the service is interesting. It’s quick but maybe a little grumpy. I don’t know. It doesn’t really bother me at all. I find curmudgeonly people adorable. But it might be something to take note of.
Oh the food. It’s divine. What bumps this rating up is their catering service. Superb! When you have to feed a hungry group of people, it’s nice to know that you can count on someone for prompt service and yummy food at reasonable prices. The portions are pretty large. They are very consistent and the owner(Atif) is fantastic. If you place your order and find that you need to add more to it, he will accommodate the change. That guy sure does deserve an «Owner of the Year» award. I love their chicken. It’s a kabob. Tender. Flavorful. I dig it. I love their Falafel. I think the seasoning is what makes this special. I love their tabouli. A parsley salad. Some of you might find this strange, but it’s really quite good. They don’t put a lot of bulgar or quinoa in it, FYI. I love their hummus. I love their gyro. I just can’t get enough.

I’m kind of a sucker for a delicious deli that doubles as a grocer. Make those groceries mediterranean imports at a fair price and you’ve just earned yourself a repeat customer. One of the best secrets about Mediterranean Deli(there are quite a few– what’s yours?) is that you can get some of the same cheeses here(and more– fancy a Bulgarian Feta?) that are sold at Whole Foods for a much lower price! Score! Try the spanakopita. Go ahead, indulge. I’m pretty sure it’s the best thing Mediterranean Imports and Deli makes. I always feel like I *should* get the dolmas because they’re so emblematic of mediterranean culture, but really, I must confess, I don’t like them. Don’t worry; it’s me. Everything is made with care and attention, so I’m pretty confident you’ll adore the babaghanoush and hummus and fatoush. Always, always, always sate your sweet tooth before you leave.(C’mon, you know you want a bird’s nest– those crumbly little strings of wheat doused in a honey syrup– oh so sticky– that’s a happy ending!) Atif Afal has catered a school function for me twice in the last two years, and the service he provided, from the first phone call to setting up the tables and laying out the food, was top-notch. He was charming and intent on making sure we chose plates that my young students would truly enjoy. He’s earned my business for years to come!

Their fresh deli meats and cheeses get a 5 The attitude of the owner should probably get a –10 but thats not possible on Unilocal,so he’ll get a 1. HIs attitude is HORRIBLE. He is nice to us because we know him, but if you don’t, good luck. And he treats his staff like they are worthless. And their staff has always been very friendly and as helpful as they can be. The food from their kitchen is a 2 or 3. So on avg. they get a 3.
