Body Wrap Spalon

If it were possible to have a wierd experience this is it. I purchased a Groupon Coupon and had my «experience» last week. The first girl tried to give a facial and had such a light touch it was not even beneficial. She didn’t remove my lipstick or mascara either. After that she tried to wax my eyebrows (cheap — $ 5) and was absolutely terrible at it — missed lots of ground :) Then they strip you down, wrap you in ace bandages soaked in «aloe and minerals», put you in a Gold’s Gym plastic 70’s sweat suit and throw you in a lawn chair (one of those anti-​gravity types). However they had a selection of movies so I had some time out to watch part of «He’s the Man». Only enjoyable part of this experience. If you calm down you can actually breathe but not well. They tell you to drink lots of water and didn’t even offer a cup of one. Save your money.

Arrived for my appointment at this location and found it closed. Called and was told that location was closed for repairs and that they had been ‘unable to reach me’ — unlikely as I have my cell with me at all times and also voice mail. I was told they could ‘fit me in’ at the other location (gee, that’s so nice of you to honor my appointment!). I drove all the way to the other location and was met with more confusion. When I explained that I had an appointment but no one had been there they responded with a very sparse apology.
The actual facial was ok — nothing special. Worth the discounted price I paid but not $ 65 regular price.
The spa itself is very noisy — muzak playing through cheap speakers, another radio or tv going in another area and the phone ringing did not make for a relaxing vibe at all.
Overall a very disappointing experience. If the special was meant to promote the business and make people come back this really was NOT the way to do it.
