I love the pulled pork from this place 1st time I ate here and I’m ready to come back and bring my wife. The hot bbq sauce was actually HOT which is a plus because other bbq joints aren’t hot. Thank you to the lady that to my order, the cook, and the lady that brought my food it is worth the wait. It is worth every bit of 5 stars.

From the moment we walked in we knew this place was going to be good. The environment is wonderful. Not too loud, not to bright. The staff is AMAZING. The food didn’t disappoint! I had the rib basket, and my husband and sun had the bedlam sandwich. All of it was delicious. Oh you must save room for dessert. The strawberry cake is to die for! I would drive from Orlando to Oklahoma City just to eat here!

Don’t let the nondescript exterior put you off, this place has some quality BBQ and a nice interior! I enjoyed the pulled pork a lot as well as the brisket. The turkey was a little dry and though I wanted to try the ribs I was afraid of getting my shirt stained since I was working at the time. Enormous drinks and decent prices. Give it a try if you are in the area!

This is the best BBQ place in Oklahoma. The food is delicious and the desserts are better than Grandma’s. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. Another great thing about Bedlam is the atmosphere. The décor is comfy and the outdoor area is just as welcoming. We bring visiting friends and family often because it’s a place that’s off the beaten path and shows Oklahoma in a very positive light.

I must admit I am picky with BBQ places, especially here in Oklahoma. Some have no flavor at all, but I must say that I am impressed with Bedlam BBQ. I have not been disappointed yet. Usually I will order a rib basket or for lunch I’ll choose the Stuffed Baked Potato with Chopped Beef Brisket. It’s smells so good, oh my! I get it to go and it’s almost as if I can’t wait to eat it. There service is good, no real long waits. They menu items are priced fairly. They have a good variety of desserts including cakes and pies and my most recent visit I found out that they serve bread pudding. I hope to try it the next time I’m there. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great bite to eat for lunch.

Sliding through Oklahoma City on the way to buy a charging cord for my iPhone I ran up on this exceptional BBQ joint! Man they know what they are doing in the pit! They even have great sauce, a little sweet just how I like it ! Order at the counter and take your giant tea cup to the condiment bar and filler up! Very tasty, and super great service ! Yum !!!

My favorite(the best in my opinion) BBQ in OKC. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Whether dining in, carrying out or eating leftovers, the food is always great. The patio is large and unique, which is a bonus!

Without a smidge of hesitation, this is THE best BBQ in OKC. Don’t be fooled by the nondescript exterior. It’s the equivalent of a barbecue speakeasy. Might not look like much when you pull up. But venture behind the second set of doors and you find yourself in a wonderland. The epitome of an Oklahoma dining experience, this place is decked out with taxidermy, OU/OSU football memorabilia, Native American art and much more — all of which combines for a cozy and eclectic experience. Every single one of their side items is mouth wateringly good(bonus points for the Mac & Cheese, cowboy beans, green beans, and Texas toast) to the point that you’d be tempted to just order a veggie plate(3 sides plus toast). BUT, don’t give in, because the meat is so ridiculously awesome. Basically a perfect brisket sandwich, with sliced meat that’s tender without being fatty and a divine toasted bun. Save room for dessert — the chocolate sheet cake is scrumptious without being excessively sweet. The pies and cobbler in the front case were also super tempting — we’ll be back for those! The back patio is a great space for hanging with friends on a nice evening, or cuddling with drinks(did I mention their $ 2 beers?) by their crackling fire pit.

Been living in OKC for years and this is the best BBQ I have found in the city. It’s fantastic. The ribs are amazing, they have a Solid pink smoke ring and the meat falls off the bone. The brisket is also pretty fantastic but I’m a rib girl. The sides are also very good.

Headed back home from a quick business trip and need some BBQ in a bad way! I was cautiously optimistic when I typed in ‘BBQ’ to my astonishing surprise… This place is legit! I ordered like I do at every BBQ joint: Brisket(sliced) and ribs(if available) both were outstanding. Brisket was from the lean side and ‘finger pulling’ moist; ribs were fall off the bone.

You might have second thoughts about the sketchy area when you park but the barbecue is top notch and out back has a pretty cool scene if it’s nice out.

Yes to every single bit of Bedlam Bar-B-Q! It’s a little off the beaten path, but for good reason. If the weather is nice, do yourself a little favor and enjoy some of the best BBQ on the back porch. Seriously how great is that view?! It reminds me of eating dinner on my parent’s back porch in the countryside. Trees everywhere! When we were there, there was a live fiddler which added a little extra to the experience. I ordered pulled pork with coleslaw and okra. Every bite was delicious. The coleslaw was sweet, the okra was crispy, and the pulled pork was steamy and tender. Even though they have an impressive case full of dessert(Italian cream cake, cookies, cobbler, pie, etc…) of which I regretfully did not partake, they served texas toast and honey, which is kind of like dessert, right?

Had dinner here on 5÷21÷2015 with family after an event. We are visitors from the Dallas area. There was a flood of diners who came from an elementary school graduation but the wait was minimally impacted. I’ve eaten at a few places in Oklahoma and the OKC area and have yet to find a place that I would grade exceptional and Bedlam continues that streak. I’m a bit picky about BBQ since I grew up in the deep South and also have lived in Texas for the past 25 years. The best thing I can say about BBQ in Oklahoma is that Rudy’s Barbecue has nothing to worry about. Their store in Norman OK is still the best BBQ around. I had the Big Red Dinner with sliced brisket, jalapeño beef sausage, and ribs. The brisket may have been the most tender I have ever eaten. Unfortunately, it suffered from no seasoning. Yes, it was meat but without adding sauce you would never mistake it for barbecue. The ribs were very well cooked and had the sprinkling of a dry rub but could have benefited from some other seasoning also. The sausage was actually very good, flavored well but a bit overcooked. I had the collard greens and green beans and these seemed to be well seasoned but out of a can. The service was excellent and they had a nice selection of craft beers. I hope to someday find that gem of a restaurant in OKC.

Came here for lunch with my boyfriend and some of his co-workers. I had never even heard of it, but a barbecue expert recommended it. We loved it! I had«Jeff’s Favorite» sandwich, which had brisket, a hot link and cole slaw and came with one side, so I chose fried okra. The brisket was super tender and the hot link was a great, unique addition to the sandwich. The okra was perfect — crisp, flavorful breading with bright green okra underneath. Great BBQ spot!

I am a fan of good BBQ and this place has it. I went with the 3 meat plate. The ribs were as good as it gets. Very tender but not overcooked. The pulled pork was great with the BBQ sauce. The Hot Links were OK for me I probably would pick something else next time. The cowboy beans were spicy and exactly what i like. The Mac and Cheese was great too. Sit outside under the big trees as the sun is going down. Perfect ending to a great day.

I’m from a smaller town in Oklahoma, which has an impressive amount of good barbecue and an amazingly popular chili and bbq cookoff every April. It’s serious. Before visiting Bedlam BBQ, I’ve been fairly unimpressed with OKC’s BBQ. But I was impressed with Bedlam. Sitting under those large trees on the patio made me so happy! I had smoked chicken and hot links, which are my staples. Both were delicious. The hot bbq sauce has a good kick to it. Tried the baked beans(just what you would expect), curly fries(I’m thinkin’ Arby’s), and fried okra(amazing fried okra!). Good local beer choices. If it were a little closer to me, I’d be on that gorgeous patio(one of OKC’s best) too much. I’m just so happy to have found a great local place.

Found this place while traveling through okc to Texas, Unilocaled bbq. Boy oh boy are we glad we did, now we are traveling with a large trailer and were worried that we couldn’t park so the trophy wife place a out order. When we arrived there was a empty gas station next door to park. So we went in and the lady at the desk was super cool about changing the order for in. Great start! Paid for the food and waited about 5 minuets. Out came a magnificent meal!!! I had brisket, side of green beans with potato salad, brisket was perfect in every way. Kensington ordered up pulled pork, she inhaled it before I got a chance to try it. She had a simple bake potato with cowboy beans. I tried the beans(I don’t do baked beans) these cowboy beans were outstanding to say the least. The place looks like a Mexican restaurant from the curb, at first we were like«what the heck» but once inside your overwhelmed by bbq smoke great western décor and comfortable seating. I’ve added this place to my list, I recommend this place as much as I possibly can.

I love bedlam bbq. It’s really centrally located as well as being a hidden gem. It’s a great spot for lunch, they always get you in and out with plenty of time to spare. I’m pretty picky about Mac and cheese, and theirs is to die for! The green rice, which is broccoli cheese rice casserole is amazing! It’s not your typical BCR, they put their own spin on it. It’s refreshing yet, flavorful and delicious. I’ve had ribs, sausage, chopped brisket, chicken, all amazing. The ribs fall off the bone, and the chopped brisket is my fav, personal preference. I also love their cups, and their dessert. You can’t go wrong with bedlam :)
