These pies were AMAZING. The crust alone was worth stopping in. I ended up taking home the Peach, Lemon, and Blackberry. All were super tasty, and again… did I mention how great the crust was?! They’re so flaky and delicious that it’s hard to believe they’re fried. I was picturing those hard little pies from Little Debbie, but these are WAY better. I’ll be making a stop here anytime I’m traveling down south for sure.

For some strange reason I thought these pies would come freshly fried. Warm, gooey, crunchy, slightly burning my mouth as I try to stuff too much at one time. But alas, that is all but a dream. Instead, cold, soggy, and rather disgusting. Don’t want to waste my calories there. Why oh why aren’t these served freshly fried? Is there a secret word, do I have to be in the know, do I need to grease some hands with the green stuff? I got the sugar free apple and the saving grace was that the filling was very well done and quite good. Can’t say the same about the limp shell. There was so much potential.

Nice guys. There are a lot of variety of fillings. But the pies were nothing to die for. I would give the pies a 3 and the staff a 5. So my rating is 4. So Definitely worth trying Just Make sure to ask for a fresh one so they are crisp.

I live down the street so I am here quite frequently, their pies are pretty good I always eat around the bread it’s lights and fluffy but I’m just not a bread person. I like the breaskfast pies they are the best! I wish they would bring back the. Cheese burger pie it was the BEST!

When you see fried pie signs over and over again, you just have to stop! We picked up several to take with us, too. Definitely greasy, but delicious. We tried the blackberry – very good and not too sweet. The coconut was good also-creamy and just like a coconut cream pie, but the peanut butter chocolate was just ok. The chocolate definitely tasted fake.

Just as good as the original, this Arbuckle Fried Pies never fails to satisfy my sweet tooth! My favorite pie is the apple pie, followed by peach or apricot. Their savory pies like meat are also good, but I lean towards the sweet stuff. The crust is always crispy but flaky, while the fillings are always hot enough that it feels that they just left the oven. Their drive-thru makes visiting even more convenient and the staff is always friendly and ready to accommodate. You won’t go wrong by buying some fried pies and bringing them home!

If you haven’t ever had a fried pie, then you really need to find one of these. The fried pies are great. Meat pies are good, but, the fruit pies are my favorite.

I had not even heard of fried pies until moving here. I drove by this place all the time but it wasn’t until a coworker brought me here that I learned of the deliciousness that is fried pies. Really, the fillings are what makes it. The sweet fruity fillings have all been good but lately I am all about the savory pies. Cheesy, meaty goodness. Tex-mexy goodness. Then I can gave a fruit pie for dessert. I wonder what the crust would be like if they weren’t fried. It probably wouldn’t be as good, or as portable. Give the fried pies a try!

A. mazing. The idea of a deep fried pie is already pretty amazing but these are bomb. Also the texmex ones are SO good. And the peach, and the apricot. Basically like ALL of them. SOGOOD.

Last night my partner and I were watching a «Walking Dead» marathon, when he said«I sure would love a fried raisen pie from Arbuckle’s. So off I went. He likes the raisen pie but they only have it from Oct threw Dec. It is one of their seasonal pies along with pumpkin, peacan, sweet potato and one other I can’t remember. I got my standard coconut. These pies are fried to perfection. Crust is very flakey and never greasy. I was going to take a pic of the menus but some other kind person already has done that. When you look at it, you can see they have quite a selection including pies made with meat and veggies. They even have 6 sugar free selections. If you haven’t tried them before, stop in and give them a try. I often would get a breakfast pie on my way to work before becoming self employed. It is often busy and sometimes you have a very short wait but trust me it is so worth it. I love to cook and my grandmother made fried pies when we were kids but why cook when they will make them for you and they are just as good as my granny’s. Sorry granny.

This is me and my fiancé first time trying fried pies. We don’t know any fried pies shop in Dallas. We both got peach and vanilla flavors. They are sooo good nothing to go crazy over but they are good. The filling is actually peaches no artificial flavors. The crust around was very good and flacky… we did over estimated the size these pies are big… one pie for me filled me up. The next time we go here we will most definitely come back here. Oh yeah the prices are cheap as well

This was one of the best dessert/treats I’ve had in years. Vanilla fried pie from Arbuckle Mountain. Holy cow. It was worth every delicious fried bite, both wallet and diet wise. I will strike again and hopefully soon. Live closer to the Claremore location but loved this OKC stop. My husband said he’s heard of these fried pies for years but never tried them until now, and he was equally wowed. He had the«thunder» which is an amazing peaches and cream pie, but I’ll probably stick with the vanilla. We didn’t realize how many savory meal type pies they offer but will definitely want to sample those too. On our mid afternoon visit we met with very friendly workers, too. I think this place has found the key to providing delicious food in a simple no frills manner. I seriously have to say that I LOVED this place, and I would give six stars if I could.

I’ve loved this place since when I lived in the city. Come here for great deserts and a fun experience. The staff is always very friendly, and the pies hit. You can’t go wrong with cherry, but be adventurous once your comfortable!

Why isn’t there a place like this in Tulsa? Wait. I may open one and make my millions! We came to this«pie hole» because of the reviews and they didn’t disappoint. Our family of four piled in and nearly filled the small entry way. We were busy reading the menu and trying to decide on a pie. We were a bit disappointed when we only saw 3 kinds in the display case until the worker said, «We can fresh bake any pie you want. It take 3 minutes.» As we were trying to decide between blackberry and lemon the worker let us know that we can mix any two flavors at no additional charge! The pies were fantastic and flakey. I haven’t had one from the case but I recommend like other Unilocalers, to get one fresh baked. Also, call ahead, they sometimes close early. They have changed their hours too. The back of the sign in the window even said, «Sunday Open» but they informed me that they are now closed Sundays. If you are in making a special trip out to Arbuckle go to Ables Mexican for dinner(a block away) and then Arbuckles for dessert!

I came from California to visit family for the weekend and as we drove around OKC I saw fried pies on bus benches. As I was reading that out loud my cousin was like oh we can try that if you want. Sure enough we did the next day. The location was small and it was hot inside. It seemed like there was no AC. Customer service was a little awkward. No small talk; straight to business with taking the orders. The crust was buttery and flaky. There were so many different fillings that any individuals should be able to find at least one personal favorite. My favorites were the savory spinach and mushroom and their dessert fried pies. The prices were kind of high relative to the product. They charged $ 4.00 for the savory pies, and most of the fruit/dessert versions were $ 3.00. Don’t forget to grab a fork. The crust is really flaky and trying to eat it with your hands will only result in a mess because the filling is barely contained by the delicate crust, especially if the pie is freshly fried. We had to eat our pies there and it was yummy.
