I wrote this review months ago but Unilocal has two different addresses for this location and the other review was marked as closed. Took two of my grandkids here today for lunch. They both had the shrimp plate. It had 4 skewers with 3 medium size shrimp on each. The plate came with rice, salad and some sliced orange. You can also sub steamed veggies as a side. I asked them both to rate their plate for Unilocal and they both gave 5 stars. I had the steak and chicken plate. It was tender and the teriyaki had good flavor. You have a choice of brown or white rice. They also have carrots and jalapenos you can help yourself to which was nice. The total cost of 3 plates was less than $ 30 with sodas. I thought that was a good price for the food you get. Have to agree 5 stars!

The food is very good and tasty, it does take time. But anything healthy is going to take time to cook, versus pre-made food. Only thing I do not like is that the cook does not wear a hat or cap at all times. Plus they need a little more staff to run this place properly. Cashier was the cook the day I came in. I still think they deserve 4 stars, even though I have a few issues. Good food, worth the wait!

I ordered my food. Then the girl who took my order and goes to the stove to start cooking my food. Ok, she’s serving as the cashier and cook… fine. Well then she looks at another lady who is on the phone sitting it the dining area(I thought she was another patron), and holds up the skewer of shrimp, and ask«does it look done to you?» WTF!!! Then seconds later, a guy sitting in the dining area goes behind the counter and starts taking orders – then he proceeds to get on the stove too??? Didn’t wash his hands… nothing! Ok, there needs to be a designated«break area» for the employees… not lounging in the dining area with customers, then start working as needed. I told one of the workers, I just want my money back. I refuse to eat at a place, where the floor is filthy, employees don’t wash their hands, and haven’t been trained on preparing food! Eat there at your own risk!

The atmosphere was odd as the employees were more interested in watching the game and preparing their own food then in us. The order delivery was wrong, but took long enough to get it so we didn’t send it back. The meat was good, the veggies were BLAND, and the bulk of the serving was rice. The salad was a joke. I think they get a big discount on the«fresh» carrots, because it was every where! I was sad to find this place a disappointment from atmosphere, to service to flavor.

Beef galbi is delicious, perfect sear on the short ribs. The servings are awesome, it’s hard to finish the plate in one sitting. I would recommend this place to anyone, we have eaten here 5 times this week.

I felt it necessary to review this place. The bathrooms and eating areas were clean in general but the food was bland and distasteful. I got the chicken bowl and my wife got the shrimp bowl. Price was ok but the food was lacking flavor something fierce. Worst part was it was over 100 degrees outside and the inside of the restaurant was 80 – 85. I asked the lady at the counter if she could turn the air down as my wife is waving trying to cool her face off and she said no I’m sorry. Come on what the heck. It’s hot out side and hot in here and your food sux. I’m sweeting as I’m writing this review at the table I front of my food. Horrible temps in here. Manager defiantly needs to re think his customer service and quality of spicing the food. Will never come back. Don’t see this place lasting long.

We ordered a steak/chicken plate and a rib plate. Both plates had an ok amount of meat and mostly rice. Food wasn’t too bad, but nothing special. The bad: while we were waiting for our food I noticed two employees repeatedly go from touching money at the register, straight to handling food and cooking on the grill without washing their hands. There was another employee cooking on the grill and talking on his cell phone at the same time. This crew needs to revisit their food handlers training. The staff was friendly, but very unprofessional.

My first visit to this K Grill location(opened yesterday 7÷25÷15). I’ve been to the National City Location and was excited to finally have this open up in my neighborhood. Ordered the following: Salmon Plate, Shrimp Wrap, Chicken/Beef Plate, and steamed dumplings. Each plate order comes with a drink and an orange and side salad(or you can substitute for steamed veggies), and your choice of white or brown rice. Overall, good value for the price. The salmon was fresh and not overcooked. The shrimp wrap was small but filling. The chicken/beef plate had good portion sizes and the meat was tender and juicy. The steamed dumplings were over steamed(wrapper falling apart) but otherwise, for just opening yesterday, my family and I were satisfied with our meal. Plus, it’s one of the healthier places to eat out in Eastlake! The workers were helpful except one seemed to look like she did not like her job at all and rarely spoke or made eye contact when taking my order but hey, I guess we can’t all like our jobs!
