They have delicious food. Soups, salads, sandwiches. They have a great menu for kids & Sony get me started on their pastries they are the best! My fav is their cookies and brownies. Even though I like the product I’m very discouraged to continue consuming from this location, the last 4 times I’ve gone they have messed up my order. I was really giving them the benefit of the doubt but 4 times is really excessive. One of those 4 I even ordered online hoping to avoid my order being incorrect. But I still got the wrong soup. I’m not ordering anything out of the norm. My orders are normally the«you pick 2»

Love the manager here, she always knows how to start a conversation with a customer. But today I went in with my mom to have a late breakfast, and I noticed some new workers. The cashier that took our order didn’t have a smile on her face or didn’t even ask how I was and I was actually the one who greeted her. She seemed so irritated for some reason and not welcoming. I ordered a soup and usually the workers would ask if we wanted soup, bread or an apple. She didn’t even ask. So when I got my order it was a piece of bread… And I even asked for chips. The new guy gave me chips but took back the bread. I mean at least give me the bread since you guys are giving bad customer service.

I had a fairly good dining experience at this Panera in January 2016. This location is at the western end of the Chula Vista Center mall. I ordered a pick 2 combo which had a caesar salad and tomato soup and a coffee to drink. The items were delicious and this made me open-minded to dine here again in the future. This Panera location was clean and the service was satisfactory. The prices were a bit higher than expected, but that’s an issue for corporate management, not the individual locations. I took a star because the silverware they provided was not clean. This was also a problem at their Otay Ranch location.

I see what other reviewers were talking about, the staff looks like they hate their lives. I tried smiling at the cashier, she just gives me this look. At least look like you’re happy to do your job. A lot of tables were dirty when I was here around 9am. And there was barely any customers, I don’t see how that could happen. What if they had a rush of customers? Where would they sit? But all in all, food is okay as always. Nothing to really rave about. I do love their hot tea selection though.

Food and service were great but the restaurant was unkept. Came in when they opened and tables were unwashed from night before. Even restrooms are pretty bad. Probably skip this place next time

This had to be the most personable visit to Panera I’ve ever had. We got there at 8:30pm rushing because we knew that they closed in just 30 mins, so I thought the staff would be a bit crabby at us for trying to order, get our food, and eat in just 30 min. On the contrary, the cashier, assured us that we had enough time and not to rush. We ordered our You Pick 2’s with bread bowls and salad. I have never gotten soup at Panera so I asked the cashier what she thought of the vegetable with pesto. She told me it was great and she actually walked to the back and brought me a sample so that I could try. I thought that was so awesome and sweet of her. With that type of customer service, she had to be the manager!!! We got our food in lightning speed and had enough time to enjoy every bite. The entire staff was so friendly and polite even at 8:50pm when they were getting ready to close. We didn’t feel rushed at all. The place was clean and neat. There was a couple folks in there, but the tables they had that were empty were completely spotless. Definitely the best experience I’ve ever had at a Panera Bread location, and I know Paneras, I used to work next to the one in Carmel Mountain.

Good service! I once ordered to go and they forgot my drink… however, I called them and let them know. They offered a free pastry when I came to pick it up. I appreciated the gesture and for that have no problem continuing to eat there.

Really good. The bread crusts feel stale but for obviouse reasons(bakery inside) you know it isn’t. Great place for a more healthy fast food option.

Yes the food and soup is good but for the price these portions are a disgrace. I’m a big guy so maybe this place is for female hipsters who are too cool for subway. Also I heard that they use a soy byproduct and its not full meat which tripped me out because atleast I thought the food was natural

Had lunch here. My sandwich was good… Plenty seating and friendly staff. I prefer eating here for breakfast. Prices are pretty high for soup, sandwich and salad. It’s good just pricy!

I used to eat at Panera occasionally, but recently I fell back in love with this place! Fuji apple chicken salad with mac and cheese and their green tea is always my go-to meal. I cannot express how much I love their green tea! Their fuji apple chicken salad tastes amazing. Their mac and cheese is wonderful as well! Except it may be a little too cheesy for me, but I’m sure other people love it that way and it doesn’t really bother me! Shoutout to Lyn, she is the sweetest one there! Jenny is also very sweet and very helpful! I will definitely be back as much as my wallet allows me.

Worst service ever. They brought us soup but no spoons, and salad but no forks. On asking for it they said all silverware was being washed at the moment and we had to wait another 10 minutes before we could even eat our food. Frustrating experience. Never going back there

I came here Monday and it was not too busy. The place was clean and organized. I got a salad with bread and I have to say that coming here for the first time, I am very happy with the quality of the salad. I did not know what to expect at all and all of the ingredients were spot on!!! The bread was yummy also! You will pay about $ 10 for a salad but it is well worth it! I couldn’t finish the whole salad because I got full and the filling in my stomach lasted surprisingly! The service was not great. The service was ok. People don’t really smile they’re just«working». Anyway, all and all I will definitely be coming back and I will try the coffee next time!

Panera is my life! Green tea, salads, soup bowls, everything from panera is delicious, they are pricey but there food is great, you dont get that full feeling after eating there food. which is good cause i always get a food coma from other fast food places. but i still have enough energy after eating soup bowls and a pastry lol. five stars for panera, its clean in here and there staff is nice and friendly

I usually don’t eat at Panera Bread but I had a coupon for a free meal. Service was pretty good. I ordered the Roasted Turkey and Avocado on sourdough bread but the ran out of bread! I ended up getting Asiago bread. The sandwich wasn’t spectacular. In all honesty the bread wasn’t that great, it was a bit soggy. The broccoli cheddar soup was just average as well. The only reason I would eat here is because I had the free mea coupon. The meal would have costed me $ 9.48 for half of a soggy sandwich, a cup of soup, and some chips. There are better stuff to eat for that price.

Come here often… vert disappointed! Sitting here for 2.5 hours NOT1 table was wiped down after being cleared. 1 table 3 people came and left and table wasn’t cleaned between. People sitting at dirty tables! Busser/runner constantly walked by dirty dishes. trash on tables. Employees need to be trained or get more motivated employees.

Love Paneras but this CV location needs help. Staff are not very friendly and no tables were available because all dirty and not bussed. Then go to fill coffee and light roast and hazel not booth empty. Very disappointed today. By the way they ran out of their soufflés and said would have to wait 20 mins. Poor stock management.

No, just a big no to this particular Panera. This place has gone way down hill over the years. This is located at the Chula Vista Mall. I used to come here with my parents and always seemed to enjoy our meals here. To my surprise I recently came here for a quick dinner with my parents and I could right away see that it wasn’t going to be great. The place looked dirty, dirty plates at several tables which left us with no place to sit. We stood at the counter waiting for someone to take our order for about 5 minutes. The staff seemed to be having some sort of break time or something since there where about 5 of them I. The back just chilling. I had to go the back and asked if anyone could take out order. I guess I was completely out of place because the guy who rolled his eyes while taking our order seemed to be bothered with helping us. At this point I would walked out but I thought maybe it’s just an off day and the food would come quick since that’s what we needed and I like the other Panera’s that I’ve visited. We had to literally clean a table ourselves!!! This was just ridiculous and when they brought our food it wasn’t even hot nor warm. Overall I would not come back to this particular Panera. This place puts the others to shame.

It’s Panera, what else can I say? This location in particular is usually busy but the service is very quick and accurate.

This Panera location is quite the busy one. I stopped in early morning for a cup of their drip coffee and a cinnamon scone, and I am stilled bugged that they make you heat up your own scone in a microwave of all things. They need to change that.( ) At any rate, the coffee was pretty good and only a few dollars with bottomless refills, so that is good. The scone came with an abundant sugar and cinnamon crusty topping which was good, but perhaps a little excessive( ). I really liked the moist and flavor center of the scone, and I found my self dipping and dipping it into my coffee. It was not as dense of moist scones, but good nevertheless( ). The service at the counter felt a little rushed with not much small talk. I like to pursue small talk because that is just who I am, and I like to observe the demeanor of the employees to provide feed back. In this case, it was okay, as was the rest of the experience.
