Wanted to stop by to get pizza close by. Decided to come here and they were closed. This hasn’t been the first time. Disappointing

I don’t recommend getting delivery from here. They took over two hours to get me my pizza. The crust could have been more crisp and they could have used a little more cheese but other than that the pizza wasn’t bad.

They Might be a small pizzeria, and when they are busy you might have to wait a few extra minutes, but you won’t mind, from what I understand the dough is made fresh every day in small batches so the pizza crust comes out soft and chewy, not too thin not too thick but just right. The owner might come off as ruff and a little high strung at times but always seems willing to go the extra mile to make his customers happy. I wouldn’t compare it to New York style pizza but that’s besides the point, the point is they know how to make a damn fine product. It reminds me of what a local neighborhood family owned business should be. They always make you feel welcomed, and they know how to make a pie.

Being new to the area I just had to try this place because well… It’s Pizza! I decided to go with their one topping $ 7.99 special, which came with garlic salted crust. When I called to place the order, Gabe was nice enough to ask if I’d like to try it for free on my pie. Overall my wife and I enjoyed the pizza. I thought it was very good for the price. Living as close as we do I will be coming back to try the different varieties of pizza they offer.

Support small business. I love this place over here in the otay lakes area. It’s a small family owned business and the quality is great. Good food takes time but, not forever. The people here are friendly and want to make sure every order is to your liking. It’s now going to be a staple in our«I’m not cooking tonight» menu

Under new management. The pizza here is top quality. Family owned so supporting local is another reason why we choose to buy our pizza here. Highly recommended

These guys know how to make a pizza! East coast style with quality cheese and ingredients. I love that it’s family owned. Compared to all the other pizza options in the area this place wins hands down!

Truly a hidden gem in the heart of Otay Ranch. I really enjoy their X-large pepperoni, Hawaiian and BBQ chicken pizzas. They don’t skimp on the cheese and toppings. The sauce is zesty and delicious, and the crust is crispy. The pizzas are always fresh and made to order and taste so good when they come out hot out of their oven. I always enjoy getting a pizza to go or eating at the park across the street. I just found out they have wings and can’t wait to try them. The owners and pizza boy are super friendly, gracious and do their best to accommodate you.

I just got a couple of carryout pizzas from here. Good quality and inexpensive. It’s just the owner working, and business seems slow. There aren’t many other local pizzerias nearby, so I would encourage you to eat there while he’s still around.

They must have changed ownership. I’ve ordered pizza from here in the past(most recently around 6 months ago). The pizza was always fantastic, and they used to make amazing wings. I ordered from here tonight. They no longer offer the wings on their menu and the pizza was school cafeteria quality. I wish there were some homeless people outside so someone would eat the rest of this pizza. A complete bummer.

This is a mom n pops place, very small but don’t let that stop you. The owner is super friendly and very attentive. Constantly updates you on the wait time. The pizza was great, this guy does not short you on the toppings or cheese. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We had a pizza with mushrooms, onion, sausage, pepperoni and Canadian bacon. Definitely will be back!

This is my LAST order with them. Since the change in ownership the food has taken a nose dive with the service plummeting even faster. The crust once a hallmark of flavor and a sign of genuine love of making pizza is now no different than the box it is packaged in. Gone are the days of garlic and butter fresh out of the oven. So if you loved the crust before, your are in for a unpleasant surprise. I’m a huge proponent of customer service and am taken back when poor service occurs. In this instance the pizza is not ready when we are told and in fact has not been made yet. Additionally they run out of Alfredo sauce which is a key ingredient in the pie their response is disappointing. No reasonable accommodation is offered for the impact it will have on the meal. The combination of poor service, mediocre ingredient, and genuine lack of flavor has forced this foodie to seek refuge with another yet to be identified pizza place.

Delivery is not very quick and by the time the food comes, it is not very good. It is also kind of expensive even if you are not delivering. The man that happened to be working the day we went in as customers to dine in, wasn’t the friendlies and was more concerned about his phone call with his wife, then us as his customers. They seemed to be arguing over something which was inappropriate. That is crappy customer service if you ask me. If he was in fact the owner, that makes it even worse. I get that we have family stuff in the real world, but when you are working, especially in a restaurant setting, then the customer should be what your attention is on. It was ridiculous. Not a fan of this place at all.

Have some friends I this area of town and saw this place. So, I decided I would try them out — Unilocal reviews looked decent. I walked in and the place looked like it had just opened yet I was there 1.5 hours after they opened(at least as listed on their menu). The lady at the counter was super nice, friendly and very accommodating to a ‘newbie’. I ordered a ‘all the meats’ pizza and a calzone. The pizza was great, crust was soft and biscuit-like, cheese was delicious. Toppings were generous in both the calzone and on the pizza. The lady gave me extra pizza sauce for dipping. VERYGOOD sauce… I think they make it on the premises — on of my tubs had a bay leaf in the sauce. Keep up the good work! We will definitely be back!

So here’s the thing, Californians. You’re really, really good at making burgers. Really good. I won’t buy one outside of the state. But you know what you typically suck at? Pizza. That’s why there’s nothing but big chains for it most of the time and you have to really search to find those small family-owned places that do it right. When I first tried this place, it was okay. Nothing too exceptional. But I have went back for the first time in at least a year and noticed a new owner or worker in the place. He was very nice and even«freshened-up» our two single slices we bought with more cheese and a trip back in the oven for a minute. The crust has also changed for the better. It’s more of a New York style, thin but soft crust and nice oversized slices for the price. We’re sure to return again soon. Now that I have a place nearby for New York style pizza, my search for Chicago deep dish continues.

So after reading the mixed reviews since i was in the area, i gave it a shot. From beginning to end, how goes; Parking was ample due to the 1 hr time limits on most of the spots, street parking. I could not find the place easy since it is a hole in the wall mom and pop pizza joint, only seen it due to the A frame special sign outside the place that was visible to me. I walked in, the guy behind the counter was attentive and helpful, letting me know what the scoop is since it was my first time there. So i ordered a pizza ate a couple slices while hot to get the full taste experience. Let me tell ya, it was good! They arent tight with cheese or red peppers either like other pizza joints! Will come back, and I recommend if in the area.
