I have been coming to LTs for 17 years and im a big fan of Los traquitos. I love the chile Colorado burrito and the special taquitos. I have always noticed that the napkins had a funky smell and today I noticed that even the taquitos have the same funky smell like the raunchy smell and even a taste. Hopefully they can fix this because I would be very sad to see the same taste and fresh food taste like it was years ago. I would give a five star if it was up to me but I want to make sure that the management fixes this problem. I will be back in a week and hopefully I don’t taste the same problem. And I will give you a 5STAR again. LETSKEEPLOSTAQUITOSTHESAME! Don’t cut corners please! Thank you.

They have the best bistec ranchero burrito ever. and the beef chimichangas are wonderful. my boyfriend is a fan of the rolled tacos and the carne Asada fries. the salsa is not very good but I’ve adjusted to eating without it… This place is cash only however they do have an ATM. they have outdoor seating and a drive thru… Another plus is they are open 24⁄7

Best chille relleno burritos anywhere hands down! I always get mine without the salsa ranchera and sometimes I like to add sour cream. The Carne Asada burrito is pretty damn good as well. Been coming here for… maybe a decade or more and I can’t recall being disappointed… so they are very consistent in my experience. A must try spot imo.

They are so rude I was asking to use the restroom while waiting in the drive thru and the cook was asking so many questions as for what was my order and I explained we haven’t ordered yet and she said who are you w. Walk me to your car and we just fuckn left .The little joint looks super dirty too!

Omg! Where do I even start. BEST rolled taquitos in California, heck in the United States. Ohhhh, how I miss them. Cabeza and chile colorado are amazing. Also, love their hard shell beef tacos. Salsa is the best. If you’re from Chula Vista, you know this spot. When you visit, this is the spot to hit up!!!

I’ve never heard of this place until my boyfriend recently introduced me to it. We were craving carne asada fries for a few days, so we decided to finally get some. On a Sunday night, there are little to no places open that late. Luckily, Los Taquitos is open 24/7, and to be honest, it’s pretty good. On a typical day, if I were to see this place, I probably wouldn’t stop by. It’s little, seating is outside, it’s cash only, with a little drive-thru. I was confused whether or not the drive-thru was even open or not, so we ordered at the front where you pick up the food. There are a lot of taco shops that suck in comparison to how many taco shops there actually are in San Diego. Los Taquitos has delicious carne asada fries and rolled tacos! Their fries are a hearty amount(fits the size of a regular paper plate) that are toppled with sour cream, guacamole, cheese, and of course carne asada. The rolled tacos have the same toppings. Their rolled tacos are one of the better ones I’ve had. Their hot sauce has the right amount of spice and adds to their great food. The main downfall is the fact that the cheese isn’t melted much on the food, but that diminish its flavor. Stop by for delicious food and awesome prices!

Got the cheese enchiladas combo and a carne Asada taco. First the cheese in the enchiladas wasn’t melted and the rice was dry. The carne Asada taco had no flavor and the tortilla was dry and tasted old.

Nasty food! I had been a customer here for a while because they are across the street from my house but their meet seems to be old! It tasted pretty bad and the items are expensive! I ordered rolled tacos and the guacamole was black and the cheese all hard! I think they refrigerate their food or idk but never will I be eating here again

Great rolled tacos and caliBs. but they have a serious problem with their salsas. Not only is it an idissey to ask for extras but they are not even half full when u finally do get them. For 6dlls a burrito I should get to enjoy it with enough salsa :)

Ok ok I’ll admit it this place just might have the best Roll tacos in SD. Well it’s the best I’ve had. I didn’t want to belive it at first but I’ve been to many taco shops & yes these are the best. And yes it’s in the hood & the customers are kind of hood too. So you shouldn’t go pass 8pm if your scared of the movie Boyz N the Hood. And it’s Cash only BUT they got a ATM machine right outside in the back as you drive thru the drive thru Lane. You have to get out the car tho, again if it’s pass 8pm & your scared of gangster movies or you drive a Benz don’t do it. The service is always friendly & there pretty fast. The rest of the food is just avg. I’ve had a Cabeza taco it was ok & Carne Asada fries they were ok, they have beans in them & I’m not a fan of beans in my Carne Asada fries. They do mess up your order sometimes & there has been 2 shooting across the street within a year(it was on the news) you can see flowers there from where a victim died. So knowing all this your probably asking«Dude why 4 stars? It should be less» Nope! The ROLLTACOSMAN! THEROLLTACOS! Yes there that good! So if you want some great Roll Tacos & your not scared of hoodie areas & have Cash & drive fast & don’t look like a cholo & it’s not dark outside then this is the place for you! Oh & by the way I go at anytime of the day or night, I’m not scared of no cholo! But I do drive fast & have Cash ready.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Granted there are times that I don’t have time to eat breakfast, but when I do, I know exactly what I want and go for it. That being said, I really wanted some ham and eggs, mexican style(yannoe, ham scrambled with eggs, spicy, some beans and tortillas– the yum in your tum). I got up one morning and was starving, and found this place not too far down the street with a drive-thru(thank god, because I literally rolled out of bed with pj’s and my hair a mess). They have everything listed, burritos, tacos, etc, etc. I was focusing on their breakfast menu– which seemed a slight odd because the sides the breakfast plates came with were beans and fries. Wait, whet? Fries? It’s 8am, I’ll pass on the fries. I asked the man through the intercom if I could get tortillas instead of the fries, and he said it was no problem… So, how did I end up with a breakfast burrito? The disappointment and confusion on my face, sent fear into the deepest depths of my boyfriend’s soul. He knew it’d be in a crap mood if my breakfast was ruined. I ate it anyway, because it was too early to argue over what went wrong with my order. Also, I was even more disgruntled after the few first bites of my burrito, because something was crunchy in it. CHIPS, there were CHIPS in my breakfast burrito. A breakfast burrito, I didn’t even order. Oh, and I didn’t even get any beans. It’s a week later and I still want those ham and eggs, the right way.

With as many taco shops as there is in this area, let me just cut to the point. First time coming to this taco shop and I’ve lived in the area for 23 years — why? Because there’s at least 5+ that are closer… BUT I told myself I’d go a lil further to try something new. I’ve always seen this place so I figured I’d come here. The good: — The tacos are STUFFED; you could get chicken and beef in a hard shell so that’s a plus I suppose. — Plenty of parking on the side and behind. — Drive thru is 24 hours The bad: — Cash only. Now this didn’t affect me because I had cash BUT it’s 2014… we’re in an age where a device exist that you plug into your phones audio jack to use as a card reader. It’ll even send a receipt to your phone. — Tacos are STUFFED. «But David, you just listed that in the good section» — yes but it’s also a bad thing because there was too much salsa and lettuce, almost overpowering the flavor of the meat. Nothing makes this place stand out but nothing would deter me from coming here again… except that there are 5+ taco shops closer to me.

It’s your late night taco shop and just like Jimey X. says«A true hood classic». You come here for your California burrito after your drinks. Nothing gourmet about it. Unless you speak Spanish, you’re going to have somewhat of difficulty ordering, but who really cares. I love that even more because it shows its true authenticity. Their rolled tacos with beans are always the best.
