I love chipotle. I’m leaving this review because of the location. This store brings me back time and time again because the employees are so awesome! They remember who I am, and every time I leave there I am dying laughing. I am more of a regular because of how awesome the staff is.

I think its pretty great to have that sofritas meal! I was eating that while I was not eating meat for a few weeks. The service is fast and the people are kind. It was an A-OK experience, doesn’t beat authentic Mexican food from a taco shop but its pretty alright I’d Say

DONOTGOHERE! Chipotle food is nasty and has been found to have ecoli. Over prices and just not good. Bad excuse for a knock off mexican food place

I had a good dining experience at this Chipotle in early Dec 2015. I ended up coming here because the Rubio’s across the street had already closed. I ordered a veggie burrito since it was late and I didn’t want to be digesting meat for hours in bed. The taste was outstanding, as always at any other Chipotle. Even though I make the best guacamole(contact me for recipe) theirs was yummy. The establishment was very clean and the servers were helpful. The price could have been a tad bit lower and I think that may be the downfall of this location.

First and foremost, I am a big Chipotle fan. I’ve been coming to this one for quite a while and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t jumping to conclusions. I don’t know what’s going on but there is a breakdown in communication as my food is brought down the line. This normally wouldn’t have bothered me but there was only two of us in line. To add to that I walked in with no line ahead of me and there was no steak. They had cut enough for me and then then lady behind me had to wait to get steak. I feel kinda bad because I still have hope for this location. Hopefully things will flow better the next couple of times I come back.

Really fast serving, really good people, endless amounta of lemons. Isn’t this all what Chipotle is all about? This is by far my favorite Chipotle spot in Chula Vista, with spots for everyone in your group to sit and make some crafts if you want.

If I could have a Chipotle burrito everyday of my life I would! This location is on the weaker side of the chipotle world but still that same chipotle style that you expect.

I just had the best experience. Employee by the name of Amber was super nice. She gave us the best chipotle experience ever. I had previously gone to a different chipotle where I was given the wrong order(to go) and a bit of attitude, I was planning on never going back. I decided to give chipotle a second chance. I’m glad I did.

The food was fantastic. The service sucked. A big let down. That girl was looking at me like«you are interrupting my chit chatting and standing around.» The portions where skimpy I had to ask for more meat and then suddenly she wanted to give me all the sauce in the world. Good thing I was on guard to stop her. I will be back because I love chipotle but if I get this kind of service again I won’t just say something on Unilocal I will say something to her not so friendly face.

Came here on a Tuesday night and they were running out of everything! I agree with the other reviews that this isn’t the best Chipotle I’ve been to and they surely skimped on everything. I usually don’t order double meat but I had to because they were running out of barbacoa and gave me a pinch of the scrap they had left. I usually am not able to finish the bowls but I found myself finished wanting more here. The line was also super disorganized! I was the only one ordering and it still felt hectic with them bumping into each other and being all confused. Get it together, guys. You should not be running out of half of the food two and a half hours before closing.

Food is great, really loved it! Although cheese proportion is too small in my opinion. But overall I’m satisfied with our dine in today.

Always nice to have a quick stop at a place to grab a quick and healthy post-workout meal! Portion sizes aren’t so consistent which is the only downside of Chipotle… What can I say, I like my chicken.

Lol I don’t know why this place has only 2.5 stars. They pack the burritos really good, and everyone here is so friendly! Everyone writing negative comments, boo you whore.

I can never say no to Chipotle, always a great place to grab a quick lunch for on the cheap. Their new location off H street is quite nice as it features a pretty good size dining room and a outside area to enjoy your bowls and burritos. For me I always rate Chipotle locations on how well they pack your food up and quickness. This location seemed to plow through the line rather quickly and had very consistent portions of food they were handing out. They didn’t go cheap on fillings either, they gave me plenty of whatever I needed in my bowl. This time I went with a salad with rice added to it, black beans, chicken and salsa. From my picture you can tell they weren’t skimpy at all. All the ingredients were cooked great and weren’t overly salty like a lot of Chipotle restaurants have issues with. Glad to see they’re opening more locations, they always have a line around lunch time for sure though. So you might want to get there before noon. I do wish they’d stop asking us if we know guac is extra, pretty sure everyone knows already.

I’ve never been to a chipotle before so I thought I’d try out the one that just opened by my house. I walk in and all the staff greets me simultaneously. It has the subway feel to ordering but less things to pick from. I ended up with a chicken burrito. It was $ 9.34 total. I had way too much rice, a small amount of chicken, sour cream, and guacamole which cost me an additional $ 2. My order was to-go so I can’t comment on the seating area. The rice tasted a bit undercooked in places. The overall flavor was good except it was so much filler. I had very few bites with actual meat. I want to say that in the future I’ll just hit up the taco shop. I justify $ 10 burritos from rubios because they have lobster but chicken is one of the cheapest meats and they don’t give you enough. Maybe more worth it if you eat there.

Uhhh… where’s the meat? Where are the ingredients that make this a meal??? Oh my bad… I must have missed all of them in the sea of rice… Really Chipotle??? You charge a higher price, I as a consumer expect a better than average fast food meal. You’re brand new to this part of town, make a good first impression. Management/Ownership: Please take note and train your staff appropriately. Quit skimpin.’

For starters, I’m obsessed w Chipotle as it is but I won’t be biased. This place is really nice. I came on a Sunday afternoon(I’m actually here typing this rn), & it wasn’t busy @ all. It is located in a very convenient location right cross from the Chula Vista Mall. Parking was no hassle. Also, it was evident Eddie(whom I believe to be the shift manager), was a good worker, speaking from his speed @ preparing food & helping the new staff. The food tasted great as always & I look fwd to coming back soon. Truly, Jafett Zavala (Your SD Chipotle daily customer) :)

Why all the negative reviews? I just had lunch here with my fiancé’ right now, and I had a pleasant experience. Before we even walked inside, an employee who was outside greeted us. The same moment we walked in, we were greeted by pretty much all the employees in the front on the line. They are very friendly and not rude at all. They took our requests accurately and made our burrito and bowl quickly. I was very satisfied with my burrito, however my boyfriend did say that he’s had a much more fuller bowl at a different location. I thought my food was great, though. I personally have never ordered a bowl at Chipotle so I wouldn’t know how big or how small they’re suppose to be. Everything tasted fresh, and warm. They’re establishment is very clean! I didn’t see not one piece of trash anywhere. They had one person cleaning the inside and one person moving the seating outside since it’s raining today. While we were eating, I was watching how the employees interacted with other customers. They were just as nice! I have been to a few Chipotle locations within San Diego and this one is by far the best and most friendliest.(Lots and lots of smiles!) If you’re hungry and are in the area, stop by! I recommend a chicken burrito ;)

I agree with Joe, the quality was sub par for what I expect at chipotle. I found a gross looking(I hope) beard hair in my burrito bowl, the veggies were overdone, steak overcooked, and the portions were tiny compared to every other chipotle I’ve been to, a half a scoop of rice and enough cheese that you could count the pieces easily. Also $ 1.90 for a small drink seems crazy, I realize that’s the price for all chipotles but still a crazy price this day in age. Overall the price is simply not justified whatsoever for the quantity and quality that was sub par. I realize this location just opened up, and will try again in several months. My hope is that they’re just learning and will step up their game.

We were excited to have Chipotle a little closer than the Plaza Bonita mall, but sadly won’t be going here anymore. Service was great, but they were very stingy on the portions which was disappointing. To top it off the steak was over cooked and chewy, the chips were stale, and the fajitas were badly burnt. The taste of the burnt fajitas overwhelmed the rest of the flavors, and made my bowl unappetizing. The employees were friendly, but I’d rather drive to the mall, where they are a bit more experienced.
