John’s Hamburgers

Love everything I’ve ordered here. The onion rings are the best with great crunch! Service is professional & friendly. Great for work lunches or family. I recommend it over the chains near by.

John’s Hamburgers is a local charbroil place that you know is going to be good before you walk in because you can see the smoke billowing out the vents on the room and smell the oh so intoxicating aroma of charbroil as you walk in.
I’ve been driving by John’s for years now and have never made a stop until recently when I was on the hunt for a quick breakfast. Charbroil places often have delicious breakfasts in addition to their hamburgers and John’s is not exception.
John’s is located on Central Ave just a little north of Edison Ave and is set back off the street so it can be easy to miss. There is no drive through so you have to go in to order. While I was visiting the line to place your order was never less the 4 people deep, which is another sign of good food.
I’m a sucker for quesadillas and as luck would have it they have a breakfast quesadilla on the menu and that’s what I ordered. The stock breakfast quesadilla comes with scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese. It served with two salsa’s and a lettuce /​tomato garnish.
The quesadilla was prepared perfectly. The eggs were light and fluffy, the sausage was savory and cheese we flavor and not oily. They definitely use quality ingredients.
The quesadilla was just right for a light breakfast. It was filling but not too heavy.
I’ll be going to back to John’s Hamburgers to sample the lunch menu soon. The only thing you need to be cautious of is that they close early. They are really only good for Breakfast and Lunch.

The best place in Chino and Chino Hills for breakfast! You must try the spinach and feta omelet, we order it with egg whites and sliced tomatoes instead of hash browns. The potato spuds are also a good switch for hash browns too, not that the hash browns are bad, just so many good choices. The pancakes are delicious! The food is fresh, the prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly. This place is getting more and more popular… make it your new favorite place!

Been to John’s several times and the food is always yummy. The portions are massive and the staff are very friendly. It’s a comfortable place to have a great meal.

Let’s start with my order. There was a double cheeseburger special on the board. I point to it when I order and also ask for Ranch w my fries. I get an ice tea with my combo. It’s rotten which means the container is dirty (a good indication that everything else is dirty) when my order comes to the table I get a single burger no ranch. I ask the lady who delivered my burger for ranch. She never comes back. I go up to the counter to the lady I ordered fro. To show her I only got one patty. She tells me that’s what she charged me for. No appologies! No offer to fix it. And we never received a receipt to know what we were charged. Not coming back

Family oriented restaurant. Friendly people. Excellent food. You always get plenty. Clean Bathrooms. Try one of the daily specials, you can’t go wrong. For sports fans, three tv’s. Plenty of parking. Prices competitive with your favorite places. The only problem is they are only open 7am — 3pm.

I love this place from burgers to chili cheese fries! If there in the afternoon the cashier is very friendly and courteous! 747 combo is fantastic! Definitely hit this place up if around the area

Love their chorizo & egg burritos. The waitresses are friendly and they have good prices.

I must admit the burgers were much tastier than before.
It’s run of the mill. Nothing special.
On the more pricier side.
The place is big with tv’s in the corners. The dining room is an L shape opposed to the traditional box.
The service is good here. Kind, polite and accomodating.
They play the Fish (95.9 FM) on the radio which leads the consumers to believe they are a Christian establishment. This is false. They just play family friendly music. Any «Christian» restaurant that opens on Sunday is a fake Christian, plain and simple. To blatantly dishonor the 4^th Mosaic command for financial benefits is ludicrous, blasphemous, maligned, and unbiblical.
Apologies for the soliloquy, but the food and service is pretty damn good =D

My favorite local diner in Chino! They have everything from Mexican food to traditional breakfast at great prices and large portions! Definitely a good bang for your buck.
TIP: They are only open till 3pm so don’t be a sucker like me and try to go for dinner, I learned the hard way!
I usually come here for breakfast since I am a huge fan of their breakfast burritos! For around 5 bucks it is a great deal and will definitely start your morning out right, don’t forget to ask for a side of salsa! I’ve probably have been here a couple of times for lunch too but even for lunch I usually end up ordering a breakfast item as well. There is no drive-​thru so don’t be lazy!
There are many things to select from the menu, but whatever you choose you won’t go wrong! Now if they only offered delivery than I would be eat here more than I should! Anyway, I’ll keep this review short and sweet. If you ever get a chance to pass by here and feel hungry than you should check this place out!

They just recently remodeled their seating area and although it looks very pleasant and nice, I believe it is the reason why their prices have sky rocketed. If that is true then I wish they would have just left the restaurant the way it was before.
I just feel if I’m gonna pay for it through purchasing food the I should have had a say so in it. So now instead of going there three times a week I have dropped the visits to once a week. So who is really losing here?
Oh and the food is still very good and very fresh. The waitresses are very nice and always eager to assist with your dinning pleasure. Still love going, just not as frequently as before.:(

We’re about to see what this place is about. Just came back from a little morning of fishing at Prado park and seen this place. Looks very clean in the sitting area but the restroom could use some improvement. Cashier was new and took a little long to figure out how to enter our order. In her defense it was a little confusing. Food was good but overpriced for a fast food joint. Also the portion size was a little disappointing.
All and all it was alright.

I decided to try this place out since I’ve pass by it almost every day and to be quite honest, it wasn’t that great.
The food tastes decent but their cleanliness is complete crap. As soon as I walked in there was a stench of cigarette smoke. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and it was filthy. But what really got to me was that the plate my food came on had food stuck to bottom of it.
I will most likely never come back. The colossal breakfast burrito was alright. Everything else was subpar.

We had breakfast there. It was delicious! We had the French toast special and chorizo and eggs. I recommend both.

«VERY DISSATISFIED»… I travel near and far for a great burger and this one called the 747 was not good they made my fiances burger and it was made properly on the other hand mine was missing cheese and avocado wow not cool when you expect something and it is totally different of what you get. :(the way they fixed it is grabbing my ¼ eaten burger and slapping avocado and cold cheese on it… I couldnt eat it anymore oh well hopefully next time we go somewhere they dont forget my ingredients… they didnt even offer to cook a new one and after complaining the cook seemed upset and why? IDK he’s the one that messed up not me.

Breakfast is the BOMB. also I really like their Greek Pita for lunch. I dare you to find better hash browns in all of So Cal.

Another walk up place with a diner-​type of menu. Great portion sizes and affordable prices.
I popped in for lunch while working in the area and ordered a pastrami combo which came with fries and then also had iced tea to drink. I am very particular about my tea and theirs was good. Lunch was about $ 10. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. They have a vast menu of choices and I will definitely be back when in the area again.

I brought my dad here for lunch after a doctors appointment this afternoon. I had been here before and decided to bring him here since I knew it would be 100x better than Galaxy Burger (he craves burgers nowdays).
We both had a burger and fries and the food was really good and it was ready right away. We received great service and I would definitely come back.

John’s Hamburgers in Chino has been around for several years now. There was a weird absence for a few months, but it continues to dish out typical greasy spoonalicious items… some salads too!
After a few years, we visited again for a quick and affordable breakfast. I had the French toast combo, which came with hash browns and eggs that were scrambled. Each item was fresh and tasted how it should. My wife had the chicken fried steak and eggs (she’s a little thing who doesn’t play) with sourdough toast. Both items were very good, and did I mention the value? We were glad we went econo on this meal!
In regards to the cleanliness and service (not the cleanliness of the servers), the facility is clean and organized, and the staff is welcoming and they keep your coffee full. Solid 4 here!

Great atmosphere strolled through on Sunday and it was packed, the pastrami was bomb .
It is kinda pricey, about $ 10 for country fried steak and eggs but the food and service was good, the portions are abundant. I had a change of heart and had to bump up their rating a little. only burger joint that has horchata and orange bang on tap so thats a big plus!~
I came here for late lunch/​early dinner and it was closed!!!
hours are 6:30am — 3pm!
