Food is pretty good, but their service is horrendous. I had 3 different come to my table and ask me what I would like to order all while I was watching the first one walk by me multiple times with none of the drinks that I initially ordered. Refills and help after the initial food being served was non existent. To add insult to injury, I saw 3 servers leave for lunch/home. None of them told me that there would be a new server serving me. After having to flag a new waitress down, I asked her if I had to get my own stuff from this point since my waitress went home. Awful service has killed me coming back to this place although I initially liked it.

The service is very poor. Took about 45 minutes asked for my order and still not ready. Try to give the business to the local restaurant in our local city but unfortunately the service continues tobe bad, no refills on drinks a certain times order coffee and it’s cold. Been going there for years but will not anymore.

I’m hooked on their shrimp tostadas, they are delicious. The shrimp is the best I’ve had because its cleaned n deveined so well. The shredded beef tacos hard shell are also good. However my fiancé had the carne asada tacos n was not satisfied. The neat was hard burnt n crumbled. The second time he ordered the carne Asada burrito n same gross cooked meat.. That’s why only 3 stars otherwise I’d give them more. Its a clean restaurant n workers are very nice even if you don’t know spanish lol

We have been coming to la s grow as for 9 plus years the food is very good but the last 5 months the service is painfully slow even to get the bill to pay takes forever. I will give them one more time and if there is no change no. Mas, Too many restaurants want out business.

Today was my 3rd time coming into this establishment for lunch and again there superior customer service just makes it all worth it. They have an impressive lunch menu and serving sizes are huge, well worth the price. Will be here in the future.

This place was straight crap. My wife and I went here for breakfast. I’ve read some good reviews and I always drive by this place. Whatever you do don’t eat here. So we were seated and waited about 15 to 20 minutes for a waitress to come to our table she had taken our order everything was fine until I see the person that seat everybody digging in her nose for the first 10 minutes that we were there and walking around and taking other waitresses tips. I guess the waitresses don’t get their tips there and this is probably why the waitresses work like s*** and are slow. We finally got our food I began to eat my food and I noticed a lack of taste. I had ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. The potatoes were undercooked and not season the steak wasn’t even season and the over easy eggs look like they were fried in dirty oil all I could eat was the potatoes after I season them myself. I left everything else because it tasted so bad my wife was really hungry and ate most her food and then later when we got home about an hour later she got sick and started throwing up. Will never recommend or come here again!!! DISCUSSING!!!

We wanted to try something new since me and my gf love mariscos but we ended up being dissapointed with our experience at this restaurant. First off the customer service or lack of was not great. The food was bland and the michelada i ordered was not tasty. Skip this place and go to Mar y Tierra thank me later.

I’ve gone here a few times and they are always really friendly and the food excellent. I ordered my food to go and I must say that it was fast and the service was above and beyond. The best part is everyone looks like they love working with each other. This may not matter to many but it sets the mood of the atmosphere and a smile goes a long way.

Well let me start off that service does not come with a smile. The staff was not rude and so so to see customers. The staff is prompt in taking your order and serving the food. The only part that that was it! I had to go and request more soda by going to the counter myself. I admit the food was tasty and fresh and a good bang for the buck. My family was satisfied with the dinner. Beans and rice were fresh the carne Asada was nice and tender not tough and chewy. Will I come here again? Probably not. I did not get my attention and I will try some other places local. For me to return to restaurants it takes good customer care and awesome food which I have experienced in the past(will not mention) with other restaurants. Place is clean and well kept up.

My review is based on the breakfast here. The huevos rancheros are amazing. I crave these like everyday and I’ve tried huevos rancheros at a ton of other Mexican places and they don’t compare. I need to find out what’s in their sauce because I can’t keep spending all my money here lol. *Tip: Call ahead and order to go if you don’t want to sit down; they make your food incredibly fast. I usually call and drive there(takes less than 10 mins) and they have the food hot and ready! As for other dishes, my parents come here a lot and order a variety of things including seafood, tacos, steak, etc. They like it and keep coming back. Service is great. Everyone is pretty friendly. Closest you could get to authentic Mexican food. Yummmmy!

The Food is good except fir the enchiladas their sauce is canned its pretty nasty. But their meat, beans, rice, and ceviche are bomb. My husband had a carne asada he loved it except for the enchilada. We had fish tostada it was delicious. I had a carnitas sope it was bomb. Their customer service is a bit slow.

A very eager staff here to wait on you and get your order. We had our waitress come to our table multiple times and we kept saying not yet. We had one waiter as well. Really clean place, no fishy smell. Nice! If your not a fish eater they have plenty of choices to choose from. Steak, chicken tortas! Almost any Mexican entrée you could want a Mexican joint. Plenty of cold beer and plenty of Mariscos selections. Food was good. Imitating crab meat in 7 mares not great but it wasn’t bad.

This experience is based on the seafood.(2.5−3 stars). I drive by this place all the time and finally decided to give it a try. With a name like«Mariscos Las Brisas» and I want to emphasize Mariscos. When I want some good shrimp cocktail I look for mariscos in the title. At first the presentation was great, full of shrimp with a bunch of avocado on top. I’m thinking to myself that I hit the mother load, and then I inspected closer. Fool’s gold(pyrite)! The shrimp was not deveined and it looked like it just came out of a bag of 60 – 70 count shrimp that they picked up at the local grocer. I was like, WTF is this. The cocktail also lacked in onions and cucumbers(pepinos). I am used to raw shrimp being marinated in the juices to cook. I was not impressed. I left the place feeling disappointed. It was like season 2 of True Detective, all the good stuff was there but the chemistry was not right. The oysters were not that good either. Here’s a tip for you. Skip the oysters. Stick with the tacos and burritos. My wife enjoyed her shrimp cocktail and said her tacos were OK but nothing to rave about. My kids did like the kid’s menu and meals. It was reasonably priced but there are several places I would eat before returning here; I would even consider Zendejas. Maybe I’m being too harsh. The service was great I just wish the food was better. I forgot to add that I did find 2 deveined shrimp in my serving. I believe they might have added some of the frozen bag stuff to the original mixture. I was just thankful I didn’t get sick from the oysters and that’s why I gave 3 stars instead of 2. Please don’t hate me fellow Unilocalers. I know some of you enjoy this place. I had to be honest because this is the internet where everything is truthful.

I have never been here but my mom wanted to eat Mexican food and my step-father-to-be took us to this restaurant. There are several notes that had led up to this review. Yes, it is Mother-‘s Day and we were aware that most restaurants at this time of night would be packed. But the noise level of the kids screaming at the top of their lungs and running through the restaurant had just made me a little deaf. It was about 7:55PM by the time we were seated and ordered our dishes. A family came around 8:10 and they were able to received their food by 8:30. My table on the other hand, waited till almost 8:50 for our orders to come out. My Oven Burrito with carne asada with a side of rice and burritos was a bit too salty for my liking. But I won’t let this one dish turn me down from trying their other dishes on the menu. The waiter we had is extremely friendly and made sure we were well served. Too bad I didn’t get his name. He deserves an award for best attitude!

I was disappointed by its fast food appearance at a strip mall. Once inside, all my fears were subdued. It was a regular Mexican restaurant with servers. It was festive and nice. The menu is expansive. I wanted something fairly low-cal and low-carb, so I ordered a Camarones Rancheros($ 11.99, which incidentally was one of the highest priced things on the menu). Then, I blew it the diet by eating chips and salsa, and further, I ordered one Mulita with Adobada to share with dining companion. Then it all came to a crash, a Michelada — ice cold beer and tomato juice. Terrific. The service is very nice and accommodating. Because of its casual appearance, it’s not great for a first or second date. Would I go back? Absolutely!
