Now, I’m not a person that would focus on the service rather than food, because hey. as long as the food is good, why would anything else matter? But no. Everything was utterly terrible, and I really do hope this restaurant shuts down. First off, we entered into this quaint little dine in restaurant. I thought it was very aesthetically pleasing, cozy looking. yet 7 minutes into this EMPTY room, we stood there waiting for a server who was lounging in a table on the laptop. When we asked her to serve us, she acted as if it wasn’t her obligation to. which was kind of odd, but I just wanted to let that slide. Anyway, we ordered Thai Tea first. boy how could you mess up on that, you’d think? Probably one of the most easiest tasks for a Thai restaurant, right? It was lumpy, and barely had any milk in it. Again, I let that slide. even though there were no free refills. Now to the orders. What the hell. No satay sauce with SATAYCHICKEN? «Yeah we’re getting it now.» They said. 30 minutes later.“Do you still want it?” What the hell. I know it’s just satay sauce, but c’mon.IT’S JUSTSATAYSAUCE.(P.S. I didn’t get my satay sauce.) Anyway, these were just little things that kind of made the meal unpleasant. But what really ticked me off was how long I waited for my OVERCOOKED, UNFLAVORED, and DISGUSTINGLYCHEWYBBQ, and how the waiter, and the manager were just completely inconsiderate and rude to us, saying how we’re overreacting. Here’s a tip: If you can’t at least cook good food, try having decent ethics. It actually works.

Located next to Juice it Up in a very busy shopping center, this place is easy to find, but if you are in a rush take my advice– GOSOMEWHEREELSE!!! I went during my lunch due to theri $ 6.99 lunch special and I ordered the L4 Pad Pak mixed vegetables with no meat, and there was NOONEELSE there, so please tell me why it took 45 minutes to prepare an otherwise fast cooking meal! You are better off going to another one of the other restaurants in the area. As for me, Not again!!!

I came during lunch hours and ordered the«Pad Ka Pao», lunch portion. It tasted good and fresh. The prices are a bit higher than most places but considering the area that its in, I understand. With that said, when I received my lunch, it looked more like a portion for a 8 year old boy. I entered the restaurant hungry and left hungry. Whoever said«quality, not quantity», obviously wasn’t hungry.

We have ordered delivery from this place three times now, mainly because they are the only delivery open when we want food. Long story short, not only are they completely incompetent at taking an order over the phone(literally, we’ve been hung up on multiple times by accident and had to call back), but they are cheap and don’t care at all about customer service. Minimum order for delivery is $ 15. Our order came to $ 14.98, which apparently isn’t good enough. They insisted we order more. RIDICULOUS.

I love this place. yes, the service is not the best but I think a lot of these mom and pop type restaurants don’t have the best service. I only judge the food and the food is great. I try just about any thai place around Chino/Chino Hills looking for something that compares to the LA thai food I used to get when I lived out there. This one is on par and I always get what i expect. I would recommend this place just don’t expect premium service.

I’ve eaten at many different Thai restaurants before but none of them seem to really bring it home for me like Thai Kitchen does. I’ve noticed some other reviews describe this place as tasteless and bland and I just don’t get it. This is one my favorite places if not my most favorite. My favorite dish really is the Green Curry. Oh! It is so good. It’s not watered down and not too thick. It’s creamy and delicious and one thing that is really important to me is that it’s not oily and greasy like some other restaurants do. Another favorite is Pad Ke Mao. I’m new to this one. It was recommended to be by the owner one day when I was feeling adventurous and it instanly became a favorite. I like it even better than good old Pad see ew. Overall this place deserves a way higher rating than what people have been giving it. Personally, I really don’t mind paying a little more money if the place has great food and this place is absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for big open spaces with a lot of room this might not be the place for you. Think of it as a mom and pop place with a modern feel to it.

I always go to the Tuesday lunch special which is the Spicy Chicken Rice with a Thai Iced Coffee for $ 2.99. The rice is a bit spicy but just right for my taste. There was a lot of rice and enough chicken and sauce to not end up eating bland white rice. The coffee was way too sweet but I always get this to-go and add milk to the coffee at home. The only thing that I wish they improve is the waiting time. On average I had to wait 15 minutes. Last time I went it took them about 30 minutes. Since I knew they were slow, I went shopping at a nearby Ross. Came back and it was still not ready. Had to wait for another 5 minutes. But the food is worth the wait!

Good food, but not great — except for egg rolls which were very tasty. Service started out fine, then server disappeared. Later a guy came out from kitchen, set some of our order on end of table, turned, and left without a word. This repeated sometime later, but I stopped him to ask where our server was and he said she went on a delivery. She apparently was the only server, too. Also, we went there with a $ 25 pre-paid coupon which they would not honor. We will not eat there again due to the poor service and their refusal to honor their coupon which I bought just last month.

The food was ok, I guess, but the service was HORRIBLE& I was only their 3rd table. They never brought me any water nor a drink menu. The food was late and they ran out of chili sauce. The food was sort of bland. The guy didn’t even come over to check to see if every thing was ok. I had to get up to go look for the chili sauce myself. Disappointed! :-(

Service was just… weird. We were seated by a man who I thought was a customer sitting in the corner of the restaurant on his laptop. Someone else took our order. And then another stranger brought out the food. Very awkward ._. I mean, they were all nice! But seriously? The food was okay. My friend’s fried rice was more like porridge than fried rice. But it still tasted good. I was surprised that my Pad See Ew had no bok choy but instead had broccoli. And mushrooms! Wth? Hm. And the Pad Thai tasted kind of ketchup-y. Honestly I wasn’t disappointed with the food too much but they were NOT worth the prices. Sad sad day… The decoration is really nice and even though the place is small, it has potential. But potential is kinda where it ends… Skip!

so i get confronted by the store owner today, asking me if i had a Unilocal account. My first time there(02−01−11) i had a bad experience and i shared it. I’ve been coming back months after because of some good specials I seen. I haven’t been on my account in months, he directs me to his computer screen in his store to my Unilocal page with my reviews. He was mad because of a negative review i had left his restaurant a year ago. So i ended up leaving shocked and surprised by this guys actions. I think it is VERYPETTY&UNPROFESSIONAL as a business venue to treat any customers this way. Regardless of what review i left, i am still a paying customer who has bought numerous business to his restaurant(co-worker referrals) SMH

Just had dinner at this restaurant with my family. We had a Groupon and really had an awful experience. There was only one other table with 2 customers and 1 person there to pick up a to go order when we arrived. It took the waitress 10 minutes to finally come to take our order. Like another Unilocaler mentioned, the Tom Yum soup we ordered was luke warm. The Pad See Ew had burnt eggs and I think that was the smallest amount of noodles I’ve ever had and I always order Pad See Ew at Thai restaurants. I didn’t understand why there were so much«almost raw» carrots mixed in this dish. My wife ordered the combination fried rice and it was moist in a weird way. She mentioned the chicken wasn’t cooked thoroughly. We ordered the mango with sticky rice as dessert when we ordered our food. Again, there was only one other table with 2 customers and no additional take out orders. We waited another 15 minutes before the dessert came out after our table was cleared. OVERPRICED: Bowl of Tom Yum Soup, combo fried rice, pad see Ew, mango with sticky rice, 2 Thai ice teas = $ 51+. Not a horrible price if the food was good but that was not the case. Waitress was at least pleasant when we saw her. The owner had an attitude like we owed him for being there or something. Guess what? WEWON’T BEBACK. Don’t waste your time there. Thai Corner at Grand and Chino Hills Pkwy is better. I should’ve checked Unilocal before buying this Groupon :(

H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E food, service, and overall experience. 1. Took 20mins+ for order to be taken 2. Couldnt even get orders of water correctly, had to wait long just to even ask for refills… of WATER! 3. Soup was not hot… was lukewarm & soup bowls were condiment bowls 4. Food came 10 mins apart from each other 5. Not all«spicy» dishes were indicated 6. SERVICEWASBEYONDTERRIBLE… told us a dish was not available 30 – 40 mins after order was placed. 7. After all of the above, food was just okay. edible but not for the price and small serving size. JUSTSTAYAWAY! A total waste of space at such a prime location.

First off, I have to say the customer service definitely deserves an A+, the waitress was very polite and VERYPRETTY. :) Pros: The restaurant was very clean and had nice theme to it. The food was delicious. Location was good as its a safe area with lots of parking and stores around the plaza. Cons: Not ideal for large groups. I would suggest this to anyone who is in the area and craving for some Thai food.

Sigh. I wanted to give them the benefit of a doubt… but after today, they’ve lost me. Today was my second try at Thai Kitchen. I’ve had their Pad Kee Mow(sp?), and today I decided to give their Pad Thai and Pad See Eew a go. Everything was just«ok», but my boyfriend was not pleased with the entrees. They were small-ish portions. The Pad See Eew was burnt. The Pad Thai noodles were goopy, like they’d been sitting in too much sauce for too long. At the end of the meal, I was still hanging on to the idea that the place was not so bad… until my last bite. It was crunchy… DIRT crunchy. I almost gagged, but managed to discreetly spit the remainder out into my napkin. Sad to say, I am done with this place. I tried, but they did not.

It was really a small place to begin with, along with awkward seating tables and arrangements I ordered the lunch special L2, Green Curry chicken. The curry was watery, hardly any curry taste or any coconut flavor. I just tasted the spiciness of it. It really surprised me how«fail» it would be. I should have ordered something generic like Pad Se Ew or Pad Thai… any thai person can make those well.

This is an instance where reading Unilocal reviews would have saved me from a dining disaster. Having a hankering for Thai food after the gym, I drove pass a place that read ‘Thai Kitchen’. So I made a U– turn and decided to stop by to pick up a to-go order. This was impromptu, usually I Unilocal beforehand but I was on the road! Walking inside, the whole restaurant was dead, but the décor was nice, had some Thai accents. The male server handed me a menu while the female at the cashier took my order. I ordered the green curry, $ 8.95 and Thai tea with boba, $ 3.50. While I sit and wait, the male server brings out the thai tea with a dome lid, which was poorly fitted, some leakage did occur. He doesn’t say much. Then he comes out with a brown paper bag. The only words he utters are«oh do you need silverware», even McDonald’s gives silverware for TO-GO orders. I decline and save them some plastic ware. On my way to the car, I sip up something of soft consistency, and when I spit it out on my hand, it’s a cooked grain of rice! A minute later another surprise pops up, it’s a thai chili seed. I would have taken a picture, but I threw it out the window. I don’t recall ordering my Thai tea on the spicy side. I felt like I was being pranked. The next surprise came next when I arrived home. I open the brown paper bag and look the curry. It’s a decent size container and inside is green curry just as I ordered, I inspect it for anything surprises, just bell peppers, chicken, carrots and peas. Then I open the box of white rice, and this is where I was shocked it was filled with uncooked grains of rice(see picture for evidence). I tried a spoonful with some curry, all I heard were my molars going ‘crunch’ crunch’ I had to spit it. I cooked my own rice and finished the curry. It was the worst $ 14 I’ve ever spent. I’ve never encountered a bad Thai restaurant before now– I hope you read this and never have to.

After eating at a several different Thai places in the area, I decided to give California Thai Kitchen a try. Afterall, I had a coupon. As a previous Unilocaler had stated, there are no $ 4.99 entrees. They have this HUGE advertisement on the cover of Clipper Magazine. Don’t be fooled people, you must HALF your already SMALL portion in order to qualify for the $ 4.99 deal. The coupon I brought in said buy ONE get ONE free. Well, apparently I missed the small print about needing to also purchase TWO thai ice teas so I was only given 20% off. I left this place still feeling hungry. Fellow Unilocalers, do not bother eating here… unless you feel like going to Carl’s Jr in the same plaza afterward to fill that hunger you will leave with.

OMG. Food is NASTY!!! Compare this restaurant to Sanamluang and Thainakorn is like Heaven and CTK. Yes, CTK is worst then hell. I tried their beef panang and taste like S&*%. Tried their BBQ chicken and it has that after taste of the chicken being left on fridge for too long. The funny thing was, the guy over there claimed some of his customer request for delivery from RH. YEAHRIGHT! I rather go to Banana bay or Coconut bay.
